Bad experience
Unfortunately my experience was not so good. I ordered a mincab which arrived 1hour and 10min late! On the top of that, the driver challenged the price that was pre-set when I made the order instead of just apologising for the delay or even provide a discount for keeping me waiting outside for over an hour on a Friday night!I will definitely not select the specific minicab company again and also I will not trust the 'best rated' ranking shown in the minicabster list of options.
Rubbish
Phoned the booked cab company an hour before pick up. They said they had never heard of us and had no record of our booking number (2702050)
Excellent Service
Simple and efficient. You call and get your quote, then they text you and email the details. They are very reasonably priced. On the day you get frequent updates on the vehicle and driver details. Excellent service. Will definitely keep this number and use again.

driver from Devon Cars was over an hour late due to "traffic". no call from him until he was at airport 65 mins after scheduled pick up. dispatcher was very rude and not understanding. in summary:
AVOID DEVON CARS AT ALL COST. THEY SHOULD BE DELISTED BY MINI CABSTER

Nightmare
Pre-booked cab to get to the airport, 5 mins before the pickup driver calls to say he'll be 45mins late in which case we would have missed our flights. Used Über instead which was fine, won't use minicabster again.
Driver Smoking, Driver lost
I'm a smoker and I have to complain about the strong smell of smoke in the car of our driver. We had a ride at 5am and we were forced to have the windows open with the cold and rain..scandalous!
Also, the guy said it's from Whitechapel and he got lost in Limehouse and East India, like he has never been there before...
He also got lost twice in the way to Stanstead Airport, therefore I couldn't have a relaxed trip because I had to make sure he was not going the wrong way again..definitely bad!
Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE service !
Most unacceptable service ever seen ! I was waiting more than 1 hour, and after 4 times when i talk with someone on customer service, they call me 5th time and sayd "we are sorry but we canceled the taxi, because he pick up other customer " ?!?!??!?! for sure i will NOT recomend you !
An excellent first experience!
During a busy Saturday night and watching a load of overpriced or unavailable taxi's go by, I thought I'd try the app out and what a pleasant surprise! It was so easy to use; location, destination, time (asap) and then presented with a few prices (very reasonable) and book where you can pay online or the driver. Once booked, you get a text and a confirmation number. It was so easy, I had to phone the office to make sure it was booked and priced correctly, which a friendly voice confirmed.
After that, I had a number of text to keep me updated and that there would be a short delay due to weather conditions (Hardly noticeable) and within 12 minutes the Taxi arrived. 15 minutes later, home and in bed.
Had I phoned or tried to hail a cab, there is no doubt I'd be still trying to get home an hour later.
Definitely using the app again and hope that my second experience is as good as the first!
Reasonable service at reasonable cost
The booking application is excellent and the cab driver was in time and courteous.
Cab didn't show
Booked cab through minivans tee for a 10am pickup. It was a no show and when I called the firm (the keen group') there were no bookings received and therefore I manually cancelled job and missed appointment.
Good idea, poor user interface
I had to make a booking twice, because the first time, although I had chosen Heathrow Terminal 5 as my destination, it jumped within the system to an address at Terminal 4 without me realising.
When I did finally make a correct booking, it worked fine, the driver showed up on time and there was no problem with anything, but this is more credit to the minicab company than to Minicabster itself.
Roundhouse to Euston
It would be so much easier if the right taxi reg was texted to you at least the driver had the foresight to call after watching him on the opposite side of the road in the pouring rain
Great option
A great option to go to the airport. We were 3 people and contacted minicabster. Cheaper and good service . Definitely I recommend this company!
Driver / Time
The driver didn't know where he came. To go to airport Gatwick, we toke 1h15 without trafic. It is very bad point when you have a travel (normally it is necessary only 45 minutes of journey).
When , finally, we were at the airport, the driver asked to me to pay him... If he knows his work and his company, Minicabster ask to pay before...

Great service
Professional service when needing to organise transport for an early flight to Luton airport and costs about the same if I caught public transport split amongst 3 people. Arrived early and comfortable seating. Reliable service in return journey arriving in Gatwick after a delayed flight. Not sure where all these negative reviews are coming from!
Experience with Minicabster
The experience with Minicabster is satisfactory. The drivers are helpful. But I note that there may be some delay between the messages delivered by the administrator and the messages delivered to the driver. The estimated pickup time provided is not accurate. So the user is recommended to call the driver to double check if the order is confirmed and the estimated pick up time.
Really poor service
Really poor service from Minicabsters side. We ordered the service with highest ratings and paid £5 extra for that. At the time of pick up we waited 25 min outside at 2am and when we tried to call Minicabster told us that they had not registered the order (even though they had taken the money from our card) and that we had to wait another 20min. When we complained about the service we were told we were being rude and that they would cancel the ride. We agreed and they promised to pay the money back ASAP. We booked a uber instead but 15 later our phone started ringing. After 5 missed calls I pick up and get yelled at by a driver waiting outside complaining and yelling on the phone. Never again Minicabster! I used to recommend it to friends and colleagues but no more! App deleted back to Uber for me!!
