Key teeth cut off by malfunctioning machine. Two keys $17.32 that do not work. Call customer service told they would send refund receipt. Nothing sent after providing two email addresses.

DO NOT USE, DESIGNED TO SCAM YOU.
I selected 2x $4 keys which stated I'd get 1 extra for free. I also signed up for a discount, which the code was emailed to me for 20%.
After entering the promo code and my cash, the kiosk wouldn't allow me to continue at all because it was requiring exact change, but doesn't even have a slot for coins anywhere.
Entering that promo code dropping the total from $8 to $7.20 basically allowed the kiosk to steal my money as there is absolutely no alternative. No coin slot, unable to change payment method to c card or debit.
Ultimately you're stuck with a strong urge to break the kiosk screen as well as no resolution or refund. I had to choose a receipt via email, text or 'no refund'. It's pretty obvious to me that this kisok is intentionally designed to steal money from customers.
I'll be contacting anyone who will listen to file complaints. I entered my phone number as prompted on the kiosk for a reciept, but never received anything. I am beyond livid.
I went to Lowe's to get a key made
I went to Lowe's to get a key made , when I got home I tried to used it and it doesn't work ,I called them and complained about and I got my money back never again will use this crap
Rip off
Bought 3 keys and they all came out blank! Straight useless keys and there office isn’t accepting calls! Waist of money.
1 star because only 1 out of 5 duplicated keys worked
One star because I made five keys and only one worked! To add insult to injury, called the 1-800 number for a refund, there was a recording because they are not open on Saturday. They suggested I go online and request the refund. Website is broken, doesn't work, Tried to submit request, a fail. I'm done. Never using this again.

Key wouldn’t work and got stuck in my lock. Sent pictures of the key stuck in lock and receipt for new lock I had to buy. Cheap you know whats won’t reimburse me for my lock. Don’t use this awful company and their awful keys!
Minute keys are a joke
Minute keys are a joke. Went to Lowes to get a simple mail box key....It says (a Minute key)...Timed it and actually took 4 minutes for the key...Not a big deal until the key doesn't work. Going back to Lowes to talk to the store manager and recommend to get these pieces of junk kiosks out of their stores - they do not work!
DO NOT USE MINUTE KEY
My minuet key saga is now at 15 days and counting. On 1/11/24 I used m.k. to make a key for $6. The key got jammed in the dispenser w. other made keys. I was promised a refund and got the debit card on 1/22/24. The debit card will not take the code. No key, no refund, stupid service staff. Went yo a locksmith got 4 keys and 2 lanyards for $10. AND THE KEYS WORK. unlike the useless m.k.

They don’t refund you it’s a lie talked to two morons on the phone claimed I get a refund. One none. Will never use this machine again stay away from minute key. They force you to buy a second key resulting in 3 keys the other one isn’t as free as you think. Scammers.
Sucka... we got your money now...
I just made 2 keys for my new house and received 1 free. None of them worked. Walmart, Farmington, Missouri. I tried to leave my contact info on website because they guaranteed that if they didn't I'd get my money back. $15 dollars. The site took my info but wouldn't let me forward it to the company. Whaaat? I'll call tomorrow... but it will be a computer calling me a sucka... and better luck next time!
The keys weren't made correctly
The keys weren't made correctly. (Lowe's Concord nh) Didn't work at all. I asked for a real human to make one and they made that one wrong too. Home Depot is much better.
BEWARE OF TERRIBLE PRODUCT
This is Directed At Lowes for a product they have.
Minute Key— we had 4 keys cut at Lowe’s and in trying them out, the First Key We Tried Stuck in the Lock— AND WOULD NOT COME OUT.
We had to call a locksmith to have it removed at the cost of $175! 😳
Tho Lowes was “helpful” at the customer service desk, they Deflected ALL Responsibility to the Minute Key company…who accepted ZERO RESPONSIBILITY for their Defective Machine, but did say they would return the $12 cost of the keys.
The locksmith shared this happens A Whole Bunch with Lowes customers who use Minute Key.
Lowes Knows This Is An Issue.
Minute Key Knows This Is An Issue.
Neither corporation wants to accept responsibility.
!!!!BEWARE!!!!

Had three keys made and they didn't work.
Avoid minute key and use something else
Tried minute key for the first time. It cut a key that looked correct, but got home and it did not work. Advised minute key and they refused to refund the cost. Something like sales are final at the point of sale and I somehow had to advise on the spot that the key didn't work. Obviously can't do that with an automated machine. Would not recommend that anyone use minute key.
Keys do not work
Keys do not work. The kiosk is in a Lowe’s and I assumed I could return the keys there, but they told me to contact minutekey. I called and was told I was over 30 days, but I never was given a return policy otherwise I would have made the effort sooner. (I was only a few days past 30 days). They offered coupon codes to redo my keys, but the Kiosk is broken and Lowe’s has no idea when it will be fixed.
I think I was scammed…
The keys don't work!
The keys don't work!! I was assured by the Walmart employee that refunds are so easy you just need to call. None of the keys worked. I tried to get a refund and was told that I can't because it's been more than 30 days. I had issues with my pregnancy and that is why I couldn't call earlier. I thought I was going to lose the baby. They told me they can give me a coupon so I can make more keys that don't work. What a scam.
key didn't work,but refunded
I used the minutekey machine At a Walmart to make 3 copies of a house key. Unfortunately none of the Keys worked in my doors' locks.
I reached out online for the 100% guarantee. I sent the details of my order from my emailed receipt.
I was refunded the next day.
I would use again based on the company following through with their promise.
I made a copy at a machine
I made a copy at a machine. The key didn't work. They said they would refund if it didn't work. I paid cash so they sent me a prepaid card for a refund. I tried to activate it but it was very difficult to activate. i finally gave up. It seems like they try to make it difficult to get the refund hoping you will just give up. I will just get my keys made in person instead of using a michine. Its cheaper anyway.
The worst costumer service
I use the machine twice at different places and the copies didn’t work, I called to get a refund they said the refund request was made I just had to wait to get it, it’s been 3 months since that and I still haven’t got my money back.
I called again and the solution from them was to wait a bit longer or call my bank either that or a coupon to get a copy of the key I needed 3 months ago!!!
Such a waste of time, money and energy.
I attempted to copy a key from the Minute Key kiosk at Lowe's. Waste of time and money.
I attempted to copy a key from the kiosk at the N.W. Albuquerque Lowe's. First, the kiosk asked if I'd like an extra brass key for free. I clicked yes. Only later did I learn that the "free" key comes with an order of TWO keys.
So I waited while it cut three keys—NONE of which are the same as the key I wanted copied. For $8.00 plus tax, it gave me three keys that do not match the key I was trying to copy. The kiosk does not furnish receipts.
It being the weekend, Minute Key's customer service was not available. Filling out the complaint/refund form results in generating an Outlook e-mail with the particulars—including several lines in Chinese characters.
So for a half-hour of my time and $8.00 plus tax, I've got three useless keys—which may not fit anything. So far, that's what I've got. DO NOT USE THESE KIOSKS.
cut 3
