We are perfectly happy with the mirror
I recently tried purchasing a Roper Rhodes Renew Illuminated Mirror, however, despite being sent two, both had defects in the mirror and I received a full refund. I therefore spent quite a while deciding on buying another mirror on line. We are perfectly happy with the mirror that we have received through Mirrorforyou and the quality of the mirror itself is good. The only downside I would say is that I opted not to have the aluminium edging as this was an additional £45 and the back casing on the mirror is very plastic. This doesn't matter too much as my bathroom walls are white and you can only see one edge, however, if I was buying again I would think about the aluminium edge.
Would like to comment that I had excellent service particularly through the online chat when asking questions before purchasing.

Great service. First mirror arrived broken but replacement sent out almost immediately, no problem, and arrived safely. Lovely mirror, delighted with it.

Bad customer service!
Bad customer service!! After having not heard from them and calling them several times I was told my mirror was in the process of being made and should arrive Friday. I called back the following Tuesday as still no word and I got told the mirror was delayed as there was issues with producing them and with no idea of when it would be ready or then sent. I ended up having to get a refund and buying a mirror from another company. I would not use them again or recommend them. Only good point was I received the refund without to much hassle.

Damaged shelf to mirror
Our mirror arrived later than expected and it was difficult to get hold of customer services. We later unpacked our mirror for installation and found that the additional shelf we paid for as an optional extra was broken and was not made of toughened glass. Unlike the mirror, it was very poor quality. We now have a mirror with two screw holes in and no shelf! Disappointing.

As for the shelf, we do not advertise it as being made of toughened glass. Your email informing us about the issue with it only arrived today, so our customer service will contact you about a satisfactory solution shortly.

Thanks very much, we are very pleased with the mirror. It’s well made, quite light, easy to hang and to the exact size and spec requested. It’s a relatively expensive purchase but you do get a bespoke product to your requirements and there are few places offering this service. Pretty quick delivery and well wrapped so can definitely recommend. Only time will determine the reliability.

There is always the "4 stars" in the middle ;-) Seriously speaking thank you for pointing this out. We are using external courier companies for delivering the mirrors and we are aware that sometimes there might be some issues concerning the communication between the courier and our customer. Best to our knowledge our customers always receive tracking information and contact details of the delivery company. We as well stay in touch with them. We admit that sometimes it is difficult to coordinate the delivery, but the fault is totally ours. Therefore, we are working towards more reliable tracking system and more flexible delivery services and hope to start introducing them soon.

The mirror was as described. After sales care was prompt, as I requested the electrical installation data sheet, and one was provided within a day of the request.
