Initially they listened to the concerns we had about the property before they did the survey.
The survey was done quickly and with consideration to the neighbours and people living at the property.
The survey was thorough, detailed with photo evidence.
The report was easy to read. Structured in a logical format.
There were outcomes and suggestions, solutions with longevity for different problems discovered and reasons why the alternatives had been put forward; consideration for the property’s position and surrounding buildings.
The surveyor was willing to discuss at length the survey at a convenient time, answering questions that arose.

The team were quick to quote, addressed some specific questions I asked (unlike some competitors) and were reasonably priced against the other quotes I got (nearly the cheapest).

Fantastic service! I did a lot of research when selecting a surveyor for a level 3 survey. MJD stood out by having great reviews and when they quoted the service was immediately of a very high standard and personalised. We decided to proceed and we are so glad we did. Max undertook an incredibly detailed survey, took the time to talk through it with me and applied a really sensible and practical approach throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to use MJD again and highly recommend them.

All round positive experience for first time buyers. Had a level 3 report done on a listed property and identified problems which changed our decision on buying. Immediately following the survey, our surveyor spent over an hour providing detail and answering my questions then followed up with a full report the following week. The price was excellent for the service, booked in quickly, and when we find the next property we like, we will be using them again.

Max and MJD were superb. The service was fast and responsive, the price was extremely competitive, and the report produced was lengthy, detailed and contained lots of photos to illustrate the conclusions. Max took the time to discuss his findings straight after he had been to the property as part of his standard service, but was also generous and helpful with his time on further phone calls to discuss aspects of the survey in further detail a number of weeks after his work had been completed.

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish! Very reasonably priced. We were given an opportunity to ask them to look at specific things. I found them very thorough. Good service for the level 3 RICS survey. It was conducted in a week after ordering, the surveyor called in the evening of the same day, highlighting the most important issues.
One of them was a conservatory roof panel sliding down, and it was fixed by the sellers, because they didn't notice it before.
Telescopic pole camera inspection, advice on the energy efficiency, and the estimated price of repairs were all included.
The report arrived in a week after the survey, it was detailed and thorough and contained lots of photos.
Overall, happy with the service
