It's absolutely ridiculous that money over viewers is more important. Baseball games should available on local TV stations so families can watch the games with children. It's impossible to take kids t... See more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! MLB NETWORK HAS RUINED MY LOVE OF BASEBALL. I WOULD LICK THE FLOORS OF WALMART BEFORE I EVER SIGN UP FOR MLB AGAIN.
This is a very poor service
This is a very poor service. Screens freeze, sometimes requiring a reboot of the app, or even the TV. Sometimes there are long stretches of black screens with audio. Sometimes the game won't display at all. I have had the app all season to follow the Phillies, and have not had a single game displayed without a glitch. I have numerous streaming services and none have this many problems.
"Today is touted on the MLB site as…
"Today is touted on the MLB site as "Free MLB game day." IT IS NOT! Subscribers to this expensive service get some free games, but not us mere mortals who visit MLB. On top of that time-wasting exercise to find it out, there's quite a castle wall to climb to email MLB, which claims to want to hear muy thoughts. I gave up after 10 minutes. MLB means Major League Bulls&^.
Too expensive for the amount of blackouts
The blackouts are ridiculous and more frequent than the opportunities to watch the games….even when they’re out of market. Couldn’t watch the home run derby. The commercials and breaks are choppy. Watching on a laptop it will randomly go back to the start of the game and you have to reset to “live”. And then there are random national and international blackouts - no explanation. For the amount of money it costs there should be more to see.

This ''AD-ON-Charge" mysteriously appeared on my Cox cable bill in June. Since I am on auto bill/bill pay, I didn't know about it until the transaction posted July 1.
Contacted Cox and was told it will be removed on the next bill.
When it appeared again Cox tells me to contact MLB because no refunds policy with MLB.
I have filed a complaint with the State of CT because the subscription was filed without my wife of my consent (we are the only 2 members of this household) and the only time we would watch the Yankees if it was on YES.
Too Much Dugout Babbling
I really don’t want to hear Blake Snell or Anybody else talk throughout the ENTIRE GAME !!!
Mid-season update dumps low-income viewers
My elderly father is a baseball fan with a MLB.tv subscription. Suddenly, mid-season, he can’t watch any games: MLB.tv updated its app requiring the latest OS which his device can’t upgrade to.
He’s on a very low fixed-income and can’t afford a new device. I’m swimming in student debt and can’t help.
Surely an update that makes devices obsolete could have waited till the season was over?!
My biggest beef is the lame stuff that…
My biggest beef is the lame stuff that is shown between innings, funky "Flashback" moments, ads that start and then disappear and worst off all someone falls asleep who is controlling the between innings graphics and it comes back and 1/2 an inning is gone. That's a rare occurrence but it does happen.
This is what they advertise
This is what they advertise:
"MLB.TV Out-Of-Market Packages | Buy MLB.TV | MLB.com
MLB› live-stream-games › subscribe
Stream EVERY out-of-market game LIVE or on demand."
But they blackout games to re-sell them to Apple TV. The game I want to watch is out of market and it's blacked out just to make more money.
Way too many black out games and teams
Way too many black out games and teams. Not worth it at all. Such a disappointment.
The entire app is useless.
When you access MLB, it hits the first game that is blacked out. Then it sends me to log in under a different account or cancel to return to the MLB screen. When hitting cancel button, it bounces back to log under a different account. Thus, we have to wait for the Baltimore Orioles game to be over before getting in. We will NOT be renewing our subscription after this year. Wasted money. Not a lot of options to choose from for the cost of the subscription.

The price is not nearly worth it.all the blackouts ruin it I won't ever give up my hard earned money for a bunch of blackout dates not even worth it without!👎👎👎
Mlb t.v. more of a scam then a good deal
Its definitely not worth it especially if you root for a team near you, luckily I can watch a few games since I live in the midwest and my team is the angels on the west coast but when the play the rangers, astros, royals and cardinals I cant not watch it doesn't matter if they are playing in l.a. or in the mid west.it is still blacked out and the stupid apple t.v. ugh no thank you! I paid 150 dollars to watch baseball on mlb tv I should be able to watch all games since I'm paying for! But no they dont care, they just want to screw the little poor fans that cant just leave there jobs all the time and drive 6 hours to watch a game and pay even more money to do so plus the hundreds of dollars they scam you out of at the stadium. Mlb tv is a scam do not waste your money! ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE NEAR YOU FAVORITE TEAM!
Finding new and worse ways to irritate baseball fans
My issues with MLB just keep getting worse--blackouts, creepy and unannounced licensing deals with other carriers, making my paid subscription worthless, and (as others have noted), a corporate culture that actively disses the fan base they should cherish.
The blackout of the Rickwood/Willie Mays tribute game is the final insult. They frontsold this historic game for a week, then didn't carry it--it was, from the get-go, an MLB event.
I am a cord cutter--no broadcast, no cable--and rely on smart TV apps to deliver the content I want. I am also happy to pay for the content I want, but I am not happy to pay and not get it. I live in Massachusetts and am completely serene about not seeing games from Fenway. Getting blacked out, routinely, from games played at Oracle, three time zones away, is inexcusable.
Lazy, shiftless, capricious, greedy, illogical, and irresponsible--all legitimate adjectives for MLB practices. Changes at the top are in order.
…MLB rip off
You pay more now and get less they black out so many games but you have to get another provider to watch all they do is screw their customers I'm sick of it
Sometimes it's good but
Sometimes it's good, but...
Too many glitches, all the good games are blacked out, and if you follow an out-of-market team with national recognition, there's far too many national blackouts to make it worthwhile. Disgusting waste unless you have nothing else going on summer nights.
Unethical Company
Bad Company
Called MLB TV and asked which package i should buy to avoid Padre black outs. They sold me the biggest package at $129. EVERY game has been blacked out and when I asked them to cancel and refund so I could buy ther smaller package to watch just Padre games, they refused. Said I should have read small print but I was free to purchase the additional package.
Bad company, less than honest and when I asked them to forgo the refund and just change my subscription they also said NO! Horrible Service, and no one calls back even though they said they would.
We were told that a refund would be given twice but then declined twice. They want you to spend more money without resolution of the original problem.
Non local blackouts
I have been blacked out on the same 2 channels all week. The channels correspond to games 7 and 8 on the Extra Innings schedule. None of the games blacked out involved my in market teams. (The in market teams games are also blacked out.) I've called MLB 3 nights in a row and they have not fixed the issue. This 3rd night they are now blaming my cable provider. Obviously, the cable company has no control over the content being transmitted by MLB, not to mention that the blackout notice is coming in quite clearly on these 2 channels. My guess is that my local market teams were on these channels sometime back and MLB has a glitch in their system that did not remove the blackout on these channels the next day. The problem is that MLB is denying the issue exists or is blaming cable; so I will spend the rest of the season not able to view games 7 and 8 regardless of who is playing on those channels. I have been a customer of MLB for double digit years and am surprised by their complete lack of caring for the devoted fan who is clearly getting screwed by this tech issue and their refusal to correct it. If you're thinking of buying any of their packages, think twice or plan on spending hours on the phone with someone from India or Pakistan who has been given no tools with which to help you.
Game Disruption, poor commentary.
Games keep getting disrupted from coming back from commercial breaks late. This had been a sporadic problem in the past, and is getting worse. Additionally, you PAY for this app, and have this happen is disappointing.
BTW, the commentary could be a little less personal. I know that there needs to be filler, but honestly, got really tired of hearing what a great time Tom McCarthy is going to have in London, while the rest of us have to work, or can't afford the luxury of flying to London. Kruk also gets way too personal, which is ashame, since he knows the game well, and could do a good job but chooses not to.
After many, many seasons of watching MLB, and being a loyal Phillies fan, I'm thinking this just isn't worth it, and getting my Phillies fix elsewhere (unfortunately, I don't live in Philadelphia).
Hands down the worst app on my TV
Hands down the worst app on my TV. I love baseball and follow two teams closely, and not a day — or game — goes by that this app doesn’t freeze, usually more then once. It is then impossible to get out of unless I literally unplug my television, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and restart the app. I am thrilled when one of my teams is on literally any other streaming service (Apple TV), Fox, or ESPN. They rarely if ever have this problem.
