I have been with Lebara for years now and as an independent adult user it’s good and have perfect control of everything:data useage, payments, notifications. As a parent it’s absolutely terrible! It worked well for the first year then when I renewed my children’s plans the data cap was turned off and I’ve just experienced a huge bill for my daughter which were both really upset about. She was really careful and turned off her data before she thought she’d gone over her data plan but I was hit with a €50 bill for one day for just 1 gb of data. I have another one to come too because we didn’t realise until the first month cleared my bank account. A total rip off! No family plans, no warnings to the bill payer and no controls for parents so don’t get Lebara if you are getting this plan for your child. It’s great if you are getting it just for yourself.
