The watch I received was not as expected and felt the quality was poor, unfortunately they never responded to my requests for a refund. I sent 4 emails over 7-8 days. So no I wouldn’t recommend them at all.
I purchased a watch from moddy’s 2 weeks ago for my wedding. What I can say is that the delivery time was very accurate. Once I received the package, the watch was defective. The hands on the watch would not move. I’m familiar with the Seiko movement and how to properly wind the watch. After over 1,000 attempts to get the hands moving, nothing. Also, the clasp is very lose and does not lock onto the wrist properly. Any sudden movement the watch will become lose and fall off the wrist. I do not recommend this company, and they make it almost impossible to send back with very poor instructions. Almost $400.00 down the drain.
A really nice replica Omega Seamaster watch, with seiko automatic mechanism.
I was surprised that the watch was shipped from china (Hermes tracking) when the glossy video adverts heavily imply it’s a Spanish based company with craftsmen in Europe. Nonetheless I can’t fault the quality and feel of the watch I was promptly delivered.
Still running well after a month
No Booking confirmation, no response to mails. After 3 weeks i received a completely different Watch.
I ordered two watches in March of 2026. It is now end of May and they claim to have shipped my order. I requested tracking details based on estimated ship date five times and was ignored. Finally they provided a Chinese company tracking information that stated that they attempted delivery 5 times and were not able to and now package is "disposed". Moddy's said they would refund but never did! STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!
The watch I received was supossed to be a GMT - a watch that displays a second time zone. When it arrived the hand that displays the second time zone was missing. I sent them a message requesting a replacement and they told me they no longer are able to get the movement (NH34) needed for a GMT. I can return the watch to them for a refund, but it has to be exactly as delivered with all the plastic protective stickers in place. I also have to pay the cost of shipping the watch back to them, which is almost as much as I paid for the watch. A GMT without a GMT hand is useless, but I'm stuck with it. I don't trust Moddys to issue a refund even if I was crazy enough to pay to ship the usesless watch back to them - if they even exist at the weird address they sent me (a hotel in France). Bottom line: There are other Custom Watch buiders out there who value customers, Moddys does not.
After paying the price for 3 watches, Some time later £23 was added to the bill but they claimed it wasn't them! When the order eventually came, it was screwed up with the wrong colour bezel on one of the watches! Not good enough!!
Very disappointed. Contacted twice since 19th April but no response. Yet, I've been receiving junk mail from them since the exact date - looks like I've been subscribed yet no actual contact. Avoid.
they said expected date of arrival was to be in 15-20 days to the UAE, but comes more than a month after. I ordered my watch on May 23rd, and expected arrival is in June 27th to July 4th.
Very professional and delivered the watch in the exact estimate time. The watch itself is of very very high quality and works very smooth, looks amazing and the packaging is premium and nice.
I have ordered a watch 7 weeks ago. No watch received.
Very difficult to communicate with them. They do not react on mij questions or mail.
So I am absolute not positive
I have payed a lot of money but I did not received anything.
My return arrived back at the shop on March 12th, 2026. Since then, I have been waiting for my money.
Customer support claims the refund has been processed, but the screenshot they sent me as "proof" clearly shows the transaction status is still "Pending". The money was never actually sent and has not arrived in my account.
This is highly unreliable and unacceptable. I will update or remove this review only when the refund is finally completed and the money is in my account.

Strap clasp broke after only 5 months. I have many watches in my collection so this is not a daily wear watch for me certainly not more than 1-2 days per week so worn 10-12 times probably. Poor quality will not buy again.
Despite advertising 1 year warranty customer service are unwilling to help and merely offered to sell me another strap (which I won’t be doing for it to break again).
I will not be buying from these again
I ordered a Seikojust Classic Black with a black dial. Before the order was even dispatched, I contacted Moddys Watches because the “View Order” page was showing a different watch from the one I had ordered.
They reassured me by email that this was only a technical preview issue and confirmed that the correct black dial version would be produced and shipped.
Despite this written confirmation, I finally received the wrong watch, with a turquoise/light blue dial instead of the black dial I ordered. This is not a change of mind or a matter of personal preference. I had already warned them before shipment, they reassured me, and the wrong item still arrived.
The watch remains unused and unworn, with the protective films still in place, and I have kept the original packaging. I have contacted them and requested either the correct watch to be sent at no extra cost or a full refund.
Very disappointing experience and poor order handling.
Orderedand paid for a watch. ...
I never received it.
Courier lost it. £279 down 6 weeks later , still nothing.
One year watches at most.
Dont get fooled by the looks, they are cheap replicas with cheap mechanisme that fails you after one year. Dont think they help you with a mechanical problem.
They are located in China. They promised to repair the problem bougt the most expensive watch they sell. But days later there response was they had talked to their "ceo" and the waranty was over. What a joke got a real seiko that still works after 8 years and the watches they sell are good for 1 year of owner ship. Then they brake down. Advise was to bring the watch to a local watch shop..yeah right they will be happy with a imatation watch repair..save some money and buy a real seiko..saves you a lot of money..and dont get me started about the band..pieces break off after 1 month..
Watch out for these chinese sweat shops with nice websites. Cheap junk
Excellent service all around.
Watch was delivered the day before estimated, well boxed and communication with the 'MODDY'S team' has been fantastic.
They're always available to answer questions and nothing is too much trouble.
I have a small collection of watches from Moddy's, in my opinion they are building the best quality homages out there. Latest buy was the Tudeiko Chrono pink dial, fantastic quality and finishing on the whole watch, including the bracelet.
I bought two watches from Moddys, GMT and a Seiktona. Both are well made and keep better time than my other Swiss watches. I had an issue with the Seiktona and they made it right. Very good company to do business with and they communicate quickly when I ask them questions.
