During the past year I have made two purchases from this company. Each purchase was a CD. Neither CD arrived. In both cases the company were unhelpful when asking if the CDs had been sent / attempting to find out when they were sent. They also made it difficult to get a refund. They did eventually refund me for both CDs but not before a lot of "tennis batting" communications from them. I will take care not to buy anything from them again.

Those who sent their items to them must be aware and consider that there is a good chance for every single package you send expect a big disappointment of either they claim such as:
1- some items in the list missing were not included in the package which will result in you not getting money for these falsely claimed missing items that is if they evaluate the rest of your items and decide to give you something or
2- items are not as described or incorrect categories or if they think they will not be able to make money they will simply claim there is an error or spot on your item and can not be accepted which you will have to pay 4 Euro to them to return the item or just authorize them to throw it away (which will end it up on their listings of course just you will not get your money)
3- And if you could make it through all of these the comes the payment process which is a challenge itself with various excuses such as wrong bank account number, technical error and so on which could result in 10s of communications and denials if you could ever get the money deposited to the right account.
4- This is not just a theory but experience of working for over a year with this company and sending over 10 relatively large boxes of clothing and every single time there is an excuse to cut short and make a few extra bucks, they have no shame of doing it in fact has become part of their company culture and easily applied to all their transactions as you could see from other feedbacks it is a common practice.

2- Artikel sind nicht wie beschrieben oder falsche Kategorien oder wenn sie denken, dass sie nicht in der Lage sind, Geld zu verdienen, werden sie einfach behaupten, dass es einen Fehler oder Fleck auf Ihrem Artikel gibt und nicht akzeptiert werden kann, was dazu führt, dass Sie 4 Euro an sie zahlen müssen, um den Artikel zurückzuschicken oder sie einfach autorisieren, ihn wegzuwerfen (was ihn natürlich in ihren Listen enden lässt, nur werden Sie Ihr Geld nicht bekommen)
3- Und wenn Sie das alles überstanden haben, kommt der Zahlungsprozess, der selbst eine Herausforderung ist, mit verschiedenen Ausreden wie falscher Kontonummer, technischem Fehler und so weiter, was zu zehntausenden von Mitteilungen und Ablehnungen führen kann, wenn Sie das Geld überhaupt auf das richtige Konto einzahlen können.
4- Dies ist nicht nur eine Theorie, sondern eine Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe, als ich über ein Jahr mit diesem Unternehmen gearbeitet und mehr als 10 relativ große Kartons mit Kleidung verschickt habe, und jedes Mal gab es eine Ausrede, um den Prozess abzukürzen und ein paar zusätzliche Dollar zu verdienen. Sie schämen sich nicht, dies zu tun, denn es ist Teil ihrer Unternehmenskultur geworden und wird einfach auf alle ihre Transaktionen angewendet, wie Sie aus anderen Rückmeldungen sehen konnten.

Having been a customer for years, I was usually very happy with the items I bought.
Recently I decided to clean out my wardrobe and sell everything that I didn't wear anymore through MOMOX.
As a test I sent them 2 shirts and one pair of trousers, each of which I had recently bought from MOMOX, each of the NEUWERTIG or the SEHR GUT categories, as I never buy from the KLEINE SCHÖNHEITSFEHLER option.
Their response was that they would only buy ONE shirt. The 2 other items "could not pass their test".
So how how on earth could these items get through their "uniform guidelines and .... various checking procedures", before making them available for sale?
If I want them back, I would have to pay once 4 euro. Or I can choose that my "rejected items" will be sold.
Just magine: These were items that I had recently purchased from MOMOX. Apparently they were good enough to sell them online to me, but not good enough to purchase them back from me, within a matter of months?
Especially when they have only been tried on.
Alternatively, you can leave the items to MOMOX.
Let me guess - when I "donate them", they then suddenly DO pass the test, and can be found online again for sale?
It makes the story about those "uniform guidelines and goes through various checking procedures" suddenly very unreliable.
It is not those 10-20 Euros, that doesn´t hurt me.
But being scammed is something completely different.
I´d rather give them away to hotel staff at my next international trip.
At least I know they are being used!
Start-ups such as MOMOX, get my support when I am behind their ideas.
I have been a very loyal customer for years, and recommended them enthusiastically to numerous colleagues and friends.
But this experience is very, very disappointing. It looks as if the size of this project is !
What concerns me is the fact that I feel being conned. And when they do this with me, they could be doing this trick with other customers as well.

I had to pull it out of them, but eventually Momox admitted that "Apparently, one reviewer found an article good that another found not good. Of course, such a thing should not happen - where people work, mistakes also happen. Once again, we apologise for that."
Eventually, the issue was resolved. And for that I´ll give them back one star - PROVISIONALLY!
This whole expensive battle was totally unnecessary.
Just imagine the frustration, and the amount of hours, energy and trust lost because of this poor Customer Services Management.
And I am certainly not the only p/off and unhappy customer.
No less than THIRTY PERCENT (30%) of all reviews are poor (5%) or even BAD (25%).
That is not something to be very proud of!
Sometimes companies are growing so fast, that certain internal affairs, such as Customer Relationship Management are ignored, or left on the backburner.
To know what is going on, you must keep in touch with your customers. Take advantage of these complaints!

Have placed about 10 orders with this company and so far they haven't disappointed. It may take a bit longer for deliveries to the UK but the books are exactly as described and prices are hard to beat.
If you have the badk luck to get the wrong article, you are asked to send it back without any guaranties and eventually the postage costs are supposed to be refunded ( trust me they never are). It's not worth the trouble. DO NOT buy sets of books, by this I mean anything that contains more than article. They will send you part of it ( I recently bought a book in 4 volumes and only received one) and on top of that they will ask you take the trouble to waste time at the post office, pay postage costs (no return labels like Amazon's), etc. This is a cunny and dishonest way of discouraging the customer to take further action. The most irritating thing is that they think you are stupid, untrustworthy and trying to deceive them ( I cannot remember how many photos I had to send them to receive a meagre 5 euros, after having paid three times as much). I've bought hundreds of books from them and I have only made a complaint for les than 1% of the orders I have placed. Enough is enough. They don't value or respect customers. I doubt very much their English will be good enough to understand any of what I am saying. They are seriouly risking losing lots of customers, as I can see from other customers' opinions. A lot they care. Disgraceful, unprofessional service. They are programmed to work like robots. English sellers are by a long last better professionals and sympathetic. I am sure many customers will identify with me. Their partner, trusted shops are a fraud that suits to the needs of Medimops.

This was the first time I sold some clothes to Momox, although the money they offered for the items was really low.
I have chosen to get a credit on momox instead of money on my bank account, and that was a mistake.
Instead of having one code, I have received several, for each item one. (???) When I ordered few items and kept only 2, they did not want me to spend this balance, although the credit was worth less than the things I have bought and kept. They have calculated only one part of it, so one must come back and order more and more to spend this credit.
So it is a nightmare. And we are not talking about procents, we are talking about Eur balance. So the fact that they are calculating this eur credit in that way, looks really like a scam, sorry!

I was happy with Momox when I was just ordering clothes without the guilt of buying new ones. Then I decided to complete the sustainability circle by selling to Momox as well. That was a big mistake! First of all, they take quite a long time to evaluate what you send in. Then they screw you by paying peanuts for items they will sell to others with a huge markup. Then they reject some of the items, even though they are in very good condition. It gets even worse! The items that are rejected you can release to them for "disposal" and get no money, or you can pay a fee per item to have them sent back. The whole thing is a cheat and a fraud and a terrible experience that says I should never, ever trust them again. Not only will I never sell clothing to Momox again, I doubt I will ever buy from them again either. Once they've poisoned the relationship with the customer it's over. One star is already more than they deserve.

Not only that part of my order was not dispatched and therefore never arrived, the customer service is absolutely aweful. First of all one receives automatic answers which do not address the problem stated and (I think) I received an personal answer which also did not answer my questions/query and ignored my problem. I really cannot recommend momox and will never order there again. I have not received the refuns yet and I imagine it will take quite some struggel to get the money back

I sold my clothes twice to Momox and both times I had a bad experience. First time I sent numerous clothes and they accepted some and some the returned (I had to pay the 4€ delivery fee). Then I saw that one Diesel coat I had sent to them was destroyed and thats why they didn't accept it. Well what they didn't realized is that THEY had destroyed it. You could see it was damaged by some sharp cutting device which they probably use to open the parcels. So THEY destroyed my coat (which I know for sure wasn't destroyed before) and then didn't want to buy it from me and sent it back and then I couldn't sell it anywhere else let alone wear it. Also I sent two black Ralph Lauren blouses and they only sent one of them back to me (they didn't accept them because they said they weren't sure if they are original?!). I somehow didn't care at this time (Maybe two years ago?) to contact customer service.
Then couple of weeks ago I thought I try it again. My partner and I collected a few clothes we don't use or wear anymore (thank you minimalism documentaries). We sent them to Momox and I know for sure what was in there because we double checked when we packed the parcel. Anyway it took them weeks to check what's inside and which items they accept. I got one payment and ordered that I want the other items which they didn't accept sent back to me. Online it said that two items the still getting checked. So maybe two weeks later they accepted my Roxy dress but were apparently still checking my partner's Ralph Lauren shirt. Two days ago I checked again because its been a while now and online it said apparently it wasn't in the parcel. It was 100% in there and IMHO this is robbery. So I sent them a mail saying I either want the item back or I want the money. They replied saying the shirt wasn't in there. I guess thats how they make their money... If you send various articles to them they just take some time to check until you actually forget to check on the status and in the end they just keep some of them and say they were never in the parcel or they say they don't accept the articles but could send them back for 4€ of course hoping that you don't want to pay the 4€ and god knows what they really do with these items.
I learned from it and will never sell my clothes to them again. Rather take the time and sell them somewhere else online or donate them...

Do not bother selling your books to them. I sent only books in good condition, was told most of them were ‚heavily damaged‘ and that I have to pay to get them back or just let Momox keep them. Such a scam, especially considering I have bought books from them in much worse condition.
Waste of time and money. Never buying from them again. I would rather gift these books to a local book shop.
I wanted to sell some books. I was promised more than 20€ but then I got an email with information that “some books don’t comply with the guidelines” and I only get 10€ for the rest.
There I had to decide to either give them away for free or pay 4€ (!!!) to send them back to me. What is this scam? It’s not like they would give you much money for the books anyway and I’m pretty sure that they sell the ones they tell you are not in the guidelines. So it really feels like the whole process is made for you to leave the rest of the books to them for free because you don’t want to pay the 4€ for sending back so they can earn money on the not so new books as well. Never again :)

Well well well. There I was thinking I may have just been unlucky in my experience with this absolute train wreck of an organisation. Ordered a book to Ireland, paid more for a specific edition, emailed them before purchase to ensure it was the correct one, got sent a French edition instead, had to send it back to the UK(from my own pocket), never got told it gets sent on to Leipzig which takes 4-6 weeks(it's now 8 weeks since I returned it), and in the many emails I've exchanged with the 'company' since then, I've felt that I've been speaking to a horde of bloodless, soulless automatons. Abysmal customer service isn't remotely sufficient a phrase to explain how useless these lot have been at what is presumably their job.
In short, wouldn't recommend. It's not even disappointment I feel. Enraged is better. A single human reply to any of my emails and I'm probably not writing this review.
Still awaiting a refund. Any chance, lads?

I purchased a book from this company and the service was ok. What was not good is their use of klarna as a billing agent. Klarna was paid as soon as they invoiced me but continues billing me and adding late charges. Klarna is practically impossible to contact unless you provide personal information to them so they can then send you a phone number or an email. Recommend you avoid momox (and klarna)
After reading several negative reviews I was a bit reluctant to order from Momox however I'm so glad I did. My book arrived within a couple of days, the cost including postage was lots cheaper than anywhere else online including amazon. I didn't get a link to review by email so this won't show as a verified purchase, if I do I will amend. I would definutely order again from Momox.
I have sold and bought online pre loved clothes through MOMOX (before UBUP) and I am extremely satisfied with the deals.
Regarding selling: + very quick processing times. Excellent communication throughout all the phases of the deal. Accepted most of the clothes that you send with transparency.
-not all brands are accepted. For unaccepted articles you have to pay a fee to get them back.
Regarding buying: + very quick delivery. Amazing quality of products (specially shoes). Articles that do not fit you, can be sent back for free.
- if not on sale, some articles can be as expensive as new ones (here unless you are a born nature lover, I advice you to see the brand new price of the products). If you are new in Germany, german sizes are so confusing that I recommend you to always buy a smaller size than the one advertised (only on clothes, shoe sizes are matching).
I have recommended momox to an online forum of mothers from my country with +7000 members and happy to do so in the future.
Overall: amazing website, excellent filters, user friendly!
Please Momox, try to keep the standards high by keeping in mind our points.

Momox sent a defective product which they were unable to replace, so I agreed to return it for a refund. Despite numerous e-mails they never actually processed my refund, and I even had to return the item at my own expense. I do not believe that Momox are reputable suppliers and will not be using them again.

Well... I order 5 sweaters and they say they where in very good conditions but when they arrives this is not true. So I don’t now if I would trust their judgment again. I mean if the clothes have clear damage you should have it to the client... out 5 sweaters 2 looks really bad

I was waiting for 45 minutes for a dispatcher to speak with, but it failed. I didn't get any information about how much more to wait, just this annoying music, for 45 minutes. And their other services are also scrubby, I've ordered a book on 23th of February, and it hasn't arrived since yet. (Their store is in Germany, and I live in Hungary. One month should be more than enough to get it here.
