Very happy with my investment within MF but a few years ago we appointed a local financial advisor to help guide us through investments and trusts and the like. We are extremely happy with the advice... See more

What a scam this company is operating. I will be taking these scammers to the Financial Ombudsman.
Here's whats happened;
I've signed up for the ISA they are running in conjunction with etoro. I specifically signed up through the web page offering the etoro/moneyfarm ISA.
I completed the sign up process, providing the usual details you give when opening a bank account (national insurance number, full name, address, financial info, employer etc)
I was accepted and the etoro account opened. Emails confirm my account is fully open and I can log in and log out using my email address and password.
I was then immediately sent to a page compelling me to deposit at least £50. I therefore had to deposit £50 before I'd even got to view my account information and check everything was in order.
The £50 transferred from my Halifax account to my new etoro account.
I noticed that this etoro account is NOT an ISA. It's some stocks and shares trading wallet that I have no interest in.
I looked into my account details and note that they had NOT opened the ISA for me despite, as mentioned earlier, I opened the account specifically from their ISA webpage.
I found the section of the website to open an ISA provided by MoneyBox and therefore proceeded to click to open the ISA. I accepted the terms and conditions etc and the final part of the ISA account opening is where they go through verification. This is the message I've had on my screen for over 3 hours
"We are verifying your details
Thanks for joining us. Your account will be ready to use as soon as we've verified your identity.
We're verifying your information, which typically takes less than 5 minutes."
I have a spotless credit record. Etoro have already verified my ID and account and confirmed its all verified, so why on earth are you putting my application through another verification which simply doesn't progress and gets stuck on this verification screen?
The website states if you have any difficulties you can call MoneyFarm. I've done this and typically nobody answers and its asks me to leave a message. Nobody has got back to me. Complete scam, they have no interest in handling complaints.
As a final message to whichever customer service bot that answers this complaint - don't bother with your mealy mouthed PR friendly replies that you post on trustpilot reviews. I require you to confirm your complaints email address. This will not go away, I will be taking this to the Ombudsman Service. You are operating a scam.
Really straight forward investing. I can't fault them really.

Very pleasant and helpful advisor-nothing too much trouble for her -even working overtime to help.
Very honest regarding her areas of expertise or otherwise. Sense of humour too.

A great company to invest with. Customer service is first class and always at hand to answer questions regarding portfolio changes and investments.
Will continue to invest with yearly ISA allowance. Far better than with a bank or building society.
Moneyfarm seems to know what they are doing, my ISA has done well, despite my intervention. I also liked the cash bonus. ISAs are a powerful tool as you get older and your pensions despite every effort otherwise, get the income taxed.
Knowing investment is a long game I was very surprised that when a family crisis occurred I took 90% out and it took only 4 days to get to my bank. Thanks.
I am pleased with the regular updates and open door communication options , the results of the investments are good, just wish the Americans could tame Trump as he's volatile.
Poorly run company who lack customer service and cost their customers money
Make it easy enough for me to understand my investment and how it’s being managed to best effect!
Easy approach to diversified investment based on a simple risk questionnaire without the need for in depth financial knowledge. Intuitive App and website which transparently facilitates tracking investments. Although most things are automated it is great to have the support of a dedicated advisor within Moneyfarm with whom to have periodic conversations over strategy. Most importantly the financial returns have been good and have weathered several global geopolitical shocks to the financial system
they are helpful, good returns and when you call you speak to English based call centre who understand you
You need to review the level of service you provide to your customer, everything is confused. I opened an ISA and etoro after several request told me my money is invested at risk and that is why i was seeing a loss on the amount. It is unacceptable, I thought i would lose all my money. You never really explined me clearly, it was vague. Nothing to do with the people at CS, it is your service which needs to be change. And I am still having an issue cause the new provider just contacted me saying they still waiting on you cause the money should be transfered out by now
A BUNCH OF CLOWNS

Nice app. Great customer service, including optional 30mins sessions with their specialists. Good rates (I think).
Only annoying thing is how long it takes to transfer money from banks to Moneyfarm. Compered to Lightyear which takes minutes, Money farm days 4 ish days.
My wife and I opened accounts to put a total of £40,000 into cash ISA via etoro/ moneyfarm
Over the last 2-3 weeks we have attempted to deposit money, we have confirmation screens to say it will go through in the next few working days
Then nothing happens, we have even gone through the process over the phone with a customer services and taken screen shots of the confirmation. All to no avail, no money taken from our bank accounts no updates, no error messages. We gave in and closed out accounts and gone elsewhere. The other provider was up and running in less than 15 minutes compared to 3 weeks of wasted time. Will be creating another Isa next year but wont be touching etoro and moneyfarm
Opened through eToro and added money to the Cash ISA account. My money was in limbo for over a week even though i got mail saying account has been verified asking to deposit funds.. I deposited the fund when opening and it should have transferred when the account was verified - took literally 1 week after that with repeated mails and calls to customer care. I wrote asking to make a formal complaint - but got a response saying your money is in now and nothing about complaint / apology. I would not trust them again - will be transferring my ISA elsewhere asap.
Had a account for many years, very easy to use and keep track and happy with how the account is going
