An absolute scam. My starscope arrived with NO magnifying lens. Multiple e-mails later, no resolve. Waste of money

Here we go again. Another flashy YouTube advert making an ordinary cheap product look like it has just escaped from a NASA laboratory.

A few minutes of searching tells a rather less glamorous story: the same or extremely similar item can be found on sites such as AliExpress for around £6.17.

So before handing over an inflated amount of money, do yourself a favour and reverse-image-search the product. You may discover that the “revolutionary” gadget being enthusiastically advertised to you is considerably less revolutionary once you find it sitting on AliExpress for the price of a meal deal.

Personally, I’d stay well away. I certainly wouldn’t be comfortable handing this site my personal information, and my credit or debit card details would be staying very firmly inside my wallet.

My advice: keep your money, keep your card details, and spend £6.17 directly if you genuinely want the thing.

False advertising, totally! Advertising showed distant objects brought into focus. Yea right… only light magnification. Of course, made in China. No attachment to a phone camera. No way to get your money back.

I bought the Starscope monocular. It is pure garbage. It’s a toy made out to be a serious monocular. Stay away from products unless you like wasting money.

They could improve by stop false advertisement. They claim their starscope had a zoom in it which it does not. It does not zoom whatsoever it has s one fixed distance It has 10x 40 which is weak. If I can't read a license plate at under a hundred feet there is something very wrong with this scope it is terrible there is no way you can use for spotting like they claimed.

This is false advertisement. The ad says you can see the color on birds feathers, if they're 5 foot from you, maybe. It says also you can see the moons craters...that's a good one!! I can see MUCH better out of my old field glasses than this piece of junk. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!!!!

We never received it, the took the money but have never received it. No message even saying it's on the way

I odered a stelar telescope for celestial viewing. I was sent a gun range spotting scope that is barely strong enough for bird watching. They claim it's the new version of the product, and I quote:

"The name on your package and product is our manufacturer's brand name that we use for this particular product line. Sometimes our marketing materials may refer to different product names for various marketplaces, but the core product specifications and functionality remain the same".

(BS) Not even close to the same functionality, or price range, of what I ordered. Lots of red tape to go through for a return. At this point, my trust in this company is zero, and my concern is, if I send it back, I'll never hear from them again and end up with nothing. Going to take what I recieved and hope it becomes useful to the Grandkids in the future. Chalk it up as hit/scam.

Advertising was completely misleading and false. The scope is neither military grade in quality or functionality.

Customer support only accessbile via online email and no response was received until after the 30 day return period had passed (despite 3 attempts). The response was immediate after 30 days, saying it was too late to cancel and return the product for a refund.

Nonetheless, I returned the product once they finally sent return instructions, detailing my attempts to contact them before the 30 day return period expired. Weeks later, I have received no refund and no correspondence.

NEVER order anything from this company! I ordered 2 mini monocular scopes in November. I FINALLY received them about 6 weeks later. They were brand new, but not what I wanted. After many attempts to find out how to return the product, I sent them back in brand new condition (They had me send it to the same city I live in!) It has now been 6 weeks and I have not received a refund. They are scammers and have very poor customer service.

I checked out this company and recall getting through, but BitDefender has stated it blocked the site. The site felt "scammy" to me, but I price-checked all items anyway and found Starscope's product and other similar (and seemingly better, less expensive) monoscopic products on Amazon. So, I never went back to the site.

Glad I wasn't sucked in. Stick with KNOWN vendors.

I ordered two scopes back in November and it is mid January and I still didn't receive them. I tried calling customer service but the line just hangs up on me. If this isn't a SCAM COMPANY, I don't know what is. They have my money and I have nothing but anger in return. DON'T EVEN CONSIDER BUYING FROM THESE RIP-OFFS!!!!!!!

I received my order tested 1 out and it was not better then my own eye sight! I emailed to get a return label the link didn't work. Got an email offering me 30% off I declined and have been ignored since. Do not shop with this company they are not what they say nor will they help you return items for a refund. I am guessing they are stalling for the 30 days. I have emailed every day I have tried the link over and over. Still doesn't work. I have called but you can only leave a message into the void.

Stay Clear of this company. I purchased 2 starscope monoculars & 1 G3 monocular phone mount for a grand total of $ 106.91
On recieving them I found them to be no more powerful than my old binoculars, so I filled out their online return form 3-4 times , made multiple phone calls to voicemail 1-855-581-2950 with no responses. Finally got some attention with email, but that ended fast when they kept confirming the return shipping address that was FAKE per USPS Click-N-Ship phone customer service.
I even asked is there a preferred carrier to do the return ship with. NO RESPONSES after that. So I am out the money and stuck with products that I was given to believe they were returnable with in 30 Days , LIES

DO NOT buy this product. Not only does the tracking number they give you NOT work but the product is ridiculous. Approximate 2 inches long plastic and good luck trying to get any kind of view much less magnification of any kind. What a scam! It unfortunately costs to much to return so I will consider this a lesson learned and hopefully keep someone else from making the same mistake.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. ORDERED THE MONOCULAR ON MAY.13 AND RECIEVED NO EMAIL CONFORMATION NUMBER, OR TRACKING #. EMAILED COMPANY SEVERAL TIMES, BUT GOT NO RESPONSE.

I ordered a monocular from star scope on 4/16 and I have still yet to get an email confirmation or a tracking number. I would never recommend this company. I wish I would’ve read reviews before I purchased. I want a refund of the $75 they charged me.....the order number is 2421034985

I ordered the produce 11/23/23. Dec 6, 2023 I have not received a tracking number concerning shipping. I did receive a vague email stating they did not know when the product will be shipped. What !!?? They received payment This is a scam.

I finally received my order. I will never reorder from this company . The company that sent the product wasn't Starscope. PLEASE BEWARE AND LOOK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU ORDER ON LINE

I would give it negative stars if I could this scope is junk, it dosent zoom like they claim , its false advertising, I was charged $70 for junk and now I can't even get my money back because all thier support links are deleted, the customer service email comes back as non delivered, so they just ripped me off, criminal charges need to be brought on these people they are stealing peoples money.
