Do not use

Wish I had read the below :( bookset ordered. Email confirmation on 5th Dec. No response at all. Have done online page, have emailed. No response at all.

Ordered a book but no response

Ordered a book, received email stating that it was being processed and payment processed. No further communication received. After 3 weeks they responded that the book was out of stock and did I want to get a refund or did I want them to re-order the book with no confirmed due date ? I chose a refund and ordered elsewhere and suffered a very disappointed relation who didn't get their present in time.

Very poor

Very poor. Ordered a book for an Xmas present and received a holding email saying there's high demand but that it will be posted a few days later. A week later I rang and was told that it won't be in stock until after Xmas. An honest email saying it's not available would have given me time to buy elsewhere.

EXPRESS DELIVERY = 10 days and half an order. No customer care . . . or products!

Ordered two in stock books for express delivery.
5 days later no dispatch notice. (yodel had a tracking number but hadn't received the parcel)

Emailed repeatedly customer support, with no answer. Phone line doesn't work.

Eventually got a very unapologetic email saying one of the items is out of stock but the other is now sent. No communication in between.

Asked to cancel and for refund.

Received one of the books (hence the 2 stars) but have not had any reply since and no refund. That was 5 days ago.

All in all express delivery took about 2 weeks, not 1-2 days as stated.

Hope I get the refund for the product that never arrived.

You will notice most social media comments seem to be the same vein as this . . .. very bad communication, misleading delivery times. No refunds!

EDIT

They blocked me on Facebook trying to get an answer for refund. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! very dodgy company who literally dont care......(hence the one star).

EDIT 2

After the Facebook comments, and being blocked the owner rand me. I am getting a refund. Email proof sent. Not really what I wanted, but its resolved, added a star back on.

Book didn't come

Ordered a children's book, but three days later got an automated email saying it had been refunded, without the delivery costs. Emailed to ask why and had no response.

Terrible waited 18 days for a book to…

Terrible waited 18 days for a book to arrive that was meant to be with me in 3 to 4 days. Sent several emails to which they ignored and then out of the blue 18 days after ordering it eventually turned up. No explanation nothing. Customer service is a joke non existent. Aviod wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Absolute shambles.

Poor, ignorant crooks.

Poor poor poor.
Purchased books with express delivery. Yodel used as the courier - as soon as I saw this I was worried.
No dispatch info, no update at all - just took my money and offered expressed delivery at an added cost.
No response to emails, all calls diverted to “call minder” and full, so cannot leave a message, no call back and no other way to contact them.
Wish I had reviewed BEFORE purchasing. Good prices, if you want to be robbed, appalling service - crooks.

Scammers monster books

I ordered an item from this so called store, they took my money but haven't sent the item, I have tried calling them they won't answer, I have spoken to yodel who have confirmed they haven't sent my item, looks like I won't get a refund either, I am going to trading standards.

One MONTH after ordering a book and…

One MONTH after ordering a book and being told it was dispatched I had to chase the seller who then said they WOULDNT track the package, their couriers refused to help me locate the order too. Absolutely no response to emails or phone calls. There goes the Christmas presents. DONT order from this company. Absolutely shocking that they are still allowed to sell on ebay. Extremely disappointing.

Money taken but no book

Like previous reviewer the book was ordered and they took money immediately but nothing has arrived. No email - nothing. Have asked for confirmation that it has been despatched, the carrier and tracking info but not had any response. Avoid this company.

Paid for a book 24th October, still haven’t received

Paid for a book 24th October, had no confirmation email and haven’t received the book ….. emailed and hoping for a response. Only a few pounds but if this happens to everyone they’ll get lots of money yet not even deliver the products, I imagine people wouldn’t query it if only a few pounds but that would soon add up for the company ….

I placed an order for several books…

I placed an order for several books .All but one arrived quite quickly.I queried the missing book and was told they had sent an e mail about it but they hadn't.They offered a relacement which I accepted but that has never arrived.The second replacement has not arrived yet either but apparently I have to wait to give mail time to deliver !! I have no way of knowing if the problem is Monster bookshop or Royal Mail but possibly won't use them again !
