Scam
Scam, the book didn’t arrive and the tracking they use is a joke, they obviously have no intentions of sending the book
Books undelivered,
I ordered two books 10 days ago and they have not been delivered.
In fact they dont seem to have left the shop despite company stating books are despatched next day and 3-5 days delivery window. No one answers the phone or replied to email enquiries.
DON'T BOTHER BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY.
Ordered a book via Abebooks.co.uk.
Book arrived 6 days later and it was damaged.
I want a trackable return label. Seller provided a non trackable return label. I contacted seller again twice - and 3 days later, still no response from Monsterbookshop.
Contacted Abebooks to ask them to intervene. Standard email response telling me to send the book back, ideally with tracking! They also say that they will refund return postage costs based on the postage costs used by the seller. The seller sent the book "free" so I don't know how Abe is going to refund my return postage costs based on that.
I'll be contacting my credit card company next.
UPDATE. Seller eventually made the refund so I returned the damaged book using their non-trackable postage label.

I placed an order for four books. Which was accepted then I realised it was second hand so it was unlikely they would have four in stock. They took my money and I have not received anything. Should have checked earlier reviews because the pattern is the same. I would not give them 1 star its just there is no options for nothing
Will it ever be dispatched?
Ordered a book for mothers day that said it was in stock on the website and it's still not been dispatched. Absolutely dreadful customer services, I'll never order from them again.
They quote delivery in 3-5 working…
They quote delivery in 3-5 working days. Order placed 31 January and since then, heard nothing. So, I emailed them. Was asked to check with my neighbours to see if they have received it, but on checking tracking it's stuck with their awful delivery courier, Whistl (Whistl is notorious for being very slow).
The thing that irks me about these book sellers is that they'll happily moan to the media about Amazon stealing their business, but with customer service like this, who can blame people for turning to Amazon?
I've gone down the chargeback route so I'll get my money back - it's just a pity that the independent book sellers like Monster don't really do themselves any favours.
ORDER NOT DELIVERED- TRACKING NUMBER ALTERED
Ordered a book via a well-known internet trading site. Book never arrived. Tracking number showed it was in transit. When queried, company changed the tracking number and claimed item had been delivered.
Cute trick- mess something up, then do a switcheroo on tracking numbers. No refund, no communication, no information as to where item on the real tracking number has actually gone.
Untrustworthy, incompetent and deceitful.

Ordered and paid for a book. The book never arrived. They promised to send a replacement and then changed their mind. This company cannot be trusted - avoid at all costs

Ordered a book, shipping has been over a month already. Customer service only responds 1 every 4 mails and when they do they simply state: here is the tracking code. The tracking code clearly shows it is lost as it hangs in the same depot for weeks...
Customer service is therefor non existent.
To get a refund you must make a claim through your bank for fraud as they do not offer such service for books which have tracking but never arrive.
