Thanks Dianne, glad you finally found the box and sorry about the eggs! Please consider that it wasn’t us that delivered the box, it was Menzies. It left us in perfect condition. Couriers have been the largest hurdle we’ve had so far, it’s such a shame they continuously let us down and ruin the reputation of our company, if you read all the less than five star reviews, they are all courier related so we now only deliver within a 20 mile radius of Inverness. That way we can deliver ourselves. :)

Used this service a few times, brilliant quality and choice using local supplies. Unfortunately on this last occasion I had put in the comments that I didn't want an item as we don't like it but we still received it. Other than that one wee incident the service is quick and convenient.

Horrendous
I ordered a fruit box and a veg box. Despite living only 20 mile away it took 2 days to get here. Don't believe the next day delivery notice on your order confirmation. I ordered 3 bulbs of garlic, all of which were mouldy and entirely noticeable to whoever packed them. Bananas were blackened and well past their best and a pear was rotten to the core. Again something which should have been noticed by the packer. All in all it was a real disappointment and I would never dream of using these services again.

Thanks Bill. Unfortunately this is another courier problem, we are continuously let down by Menzies and so we are now personally delivering all boxes ourselves. Sorry for the disappointment, it’s a shame about the courier service as it doesn’t represent that quality and hard work we strive for, fruits in this heat won’t last long - we have always paid for a next day service so it should have reached you within that time frame . Our sincere apologies

This is my second order from Monsterbox…
This is my second order from Monsterbox and this time the order arrived still cold with the new packaging which was excellent. The only thing I have to say is the Six packs of diced shoulder steak were dated use by 11/07/20 which meant it was out of date by Three days. I tried to phone and sent two e-mails but I never got a reply. I have frozen the meat until we hear from Monsterbox.

Hello Alan, James here, thanks for writing in, please check your email for my response. You may have seen from our announcement on our Facebook page that our website has been down for maintenance, which also took our email system down too. We're installing a new back end inventory system and I wish I could say it's gone smoothly :)
Regarding the meat, as discussed in my email and upon further investigation we discovered that we're receiving it in with just a couple days left before expiry which is certainly not good enough. We'll be sure to reject further meat with such short shelf lives and I thank you for bringing this to our attention. I've refunded you for your entire meat order and thanks again for your understanding.
