Insurance

I did not like the fact that my therapist did not accept or bill my insurance. I would have to do it myself and pay up front. I found this out after a couple very good sessions with her. It's the first time with therapy and it was very difficult for me.I will not be going to therapy in the future. Also they are very difficult to try to get ahold of. My therapist was fantastic

Charge me for cancellation

My initial appointment was good. I was scheduled for second conversation with a therapist but I wasn’t able to do it on my schedule time so I opt out when I received my text a few hours prior to my schedule appointment. I couldn’t make it, I assumed that the time to cancel was ok since I received a text prior to it.. apparently it wasn’t because your company charged me 95 dollars for late cancellation.

I am making progress with April my counselor. She has helped me with my mood swings, boundary setting and journaling. She gives me tools to use when I have difficulties that arise. I wish to continue with her.
I do not feel I need the psychiatrist anymore as I am on a low dosage of medicine that can be prescribed by my primary care doctor.

Flawed business model

I am not sure what what we are paying for - you pay a fee to get set up and then a monthly fee, but there aren't any therapists for me to work with and I was told it takes 4-6 weeks to get off the waitlist. So I just pay $30 a month to sit on a waitlist? I was hopeful, and maybe the therapists are qualified, but the system is not working

No following through

They never followed through on finding me someone to talk to. They totally dropped the ball and still 3 months later I am waiting for help.

MADE MY PTSD WORSE

I tried for several months to get someone to talk to about my PTSD. You never had any counselors. Then the few you did have only wanted to work during working hours 8 - 4. I did see someone 2 times and she changed her hours to 12 - 2. Which I could not work around with my job.

The overall experience made my PTSD worse.

I would NOT recommend this company. AT ALL

Now they are claiming that I have been seeing a Keith which I have never even met. Interesting. Wondering if they are billing my insurance.

Inept

Inept. Keep requesting being to not be contacted but, still being sent appointment availabilities and just was asked to rate "Tessie" claiming I have been seeing her for the last three months. I don't even know who she is. Moreover, I have not been seen by anyone at Mood Health. Instead of being so concerned about pronouns in your bios, actual interest in counseling might be warranted

Supportive Therapists

The therapist is supportive and encourages me to be kind and caring to myself. She always gives me choices as to what I can do to help myself and provides me with support material to work with during the week. I recommend talk therapy with Mood Health.
