I was a delight to deal with them. Efficient, prompt, friendly, respectful & diligent. I had no idea what to expect & all my fears were unfulfilled. We will definitely be using them next time.

Very suspicious set-up. Morrisons have a odd system involving a highly experienced headhunter and a highly experienced lead lawyer, except, the amount of clients they are herding is questionable. My shock after asking a few questions was that I shouldn't be asking, especially about the cost of the ATE insurance, shortfall costs and which lawyer I'd be working with. I was then told to sign-up when other firms had been free to tell me these details. Which, regarding the ATE, could amount to another 5-10% being deducted from winnings, so it is important. Charlotte Rees‑Knowlden is to be avoided. When I asked these straight forward questions, she assured me I'd find all the information in the literature they'd sent, except the block of text was huge and impossible to find anything. I'm afraid to say, it felt like a nasty trap, which as they are helping people who have been injured, is quite disgraceful

Anne McAlister was a life saver on my case. She helped me, not only with her expertise in law but also gave me emotional support when needed, as well as, turning around a very complicated family situation.
I call her Super Anne because she is truly super in delivering her work.
Thanks for all your amazing work.
The direct involvement with my solicitor from Morrisons was very good. however, there were gaps when she was not available and the communication tended to slow to a point where I felt frustration about lack of progress.
I do appreciate that where two legal firms are involved, communication does break down but it is a point that I think is valid.
However, my solicitor Anne McAllister completely took on board the emotional stress of the divorce and guided me through with a high degree of sympathy.
That element is so vital it cannot be overstressed.
The actual legal process was explained as we went along, and I felt comfortable and well informed through all the procedures. Therefore I felt supported by Morrisons.
To now turn to recommending both Morrisons and Anne McAllister in person, I would have no doubts in my mind that Anne would do a first class job for any potential client.
Anne should go far as she has the gift of understanding the basic emotional nightmare that is divorce, and therefore can see it from the clients viewpoint.
Also her choice of Barrister for me was an inspired move.
Overall, Anne McAllister made the journey as painless as possible I feel. Thank you.
We asked them to provide us with independent legal advice for a personal guarantee. They charged us £1,440 to do about 3 hours of work. It was just blatant profiteering as we were up against it. DO NOT USE. Similar advice was given to us for a sixth of the cost recently.
Selena Ludick has represented me on a family matter twice over the past few years. She has always been very professional, understanding and calm and has provided me with a huge amount of support during a difficult time. She promotes a trustful environment and relationship which is something that I truly value about working with her.
She has explained new and complicated processes in a clear and easily understandable way and always clarifies what is needed from me at each stage of the process.
I would highly recommend her.
Our standard residential house sale and purchase encountered some difficulties. These were exacerbated by the impending deadline for the end of the Stamp Duty relief at month end. Gaia and her team were always on hand to resolve our issues, often well after the end of a normal working day.Their professional and calm expertise, especially when guiding another parties generalist solicitor, demonstrated the value of a dedicated conveyancing team. Would certainly recommend.
Selena Ludick assisted me in dealing with an application for a child arrangements order, a specific issues order and a prohibitive steps order in relation to the living arrangements of my three year old son. The applications were made by my ex partner, a wealthy investment banker who made serious and untrue allegations against me in an attempt to discredit my character and win custody of our child. At one stage made an emergency application was made attempting to stop all contact between me and my son - a terrifying prospect. Matters were compounded when a poor CAFCASS report went against me.
Having been bullied and harassed through the process, it was Ms Ludick who persuaded me not to give in and at the final hearing my son was awarded 6 nights per fortnight with his father.
I appreciated Selena’s forthright advice. It was clear from the outset that she had my sons best interests at heart and she was integral in positioning me as the reasonable party throughout the proceedings. This reaped dividends for me at the final hearing.
Selena also came up with a plan to limit my costs when the case went on for longer than expected.

I am involved in an acrimonious divorce and I have tried to navigate through it myself, but the emotion and process has been overwhelming. Selena was recommended to me by a good friend. From my first interaction with Selena, I experienced somebody who is warm and friendly and who was immediately able to understand my concerns and the emotional weight I was carrying. Selena was able to carefully consider complex areas of law to protect my position. She delivered this advice with accuracy and clarity.
I have found Selena to be a highly intelligent and formidable lawyer, and in her hands I feel confident and secure in the knowledge that she will fight my corner and put my best interests forward. She is a credit to Morrisons Solicitors.
Thank you Selena for your continued support.

Morrisons have been acting on my behalf, and still are, in a family matter. My solicitor, Mrs Selena Ludick, has been such a professional throughout. Selena is dedicated, attentive, understanding, sensitive, well spoken, friendly and very polite. Selena has always communicated with me, keeping me informed of proceedings, and helping me, advising on proceedings. Level of service has been above and beyond!

Terrible communication. Felt that I was never listened to.
They took over my case whilst my original solicitor was furloughed- not that I was informed of this until I chased. I had no communication. I chased and chased for months. No call backs when they said they would to let me know what was happening. I allowed delays for covid. Selena not helpful and I felt very blunt borderline rude. Wouldn’t recommend. They just added to stress!
Unhelpful in all aspects don't return calls have basically lost everything to these bunch of money hungry ppl
Used them for wills for my husband and myself last year. Was very pleased with the service.

I have been working with Lily on a property lease and am extremely happy with not only the end product received but the great communication throughout too.
I will using Lily and consequently Morrison’s for all of my property requirements moving forwards on a long term basis.
She is a credit to the company and I would highly recommend.

Tried to engage this company on an extremely straightforward flat purchase.
Did not understand anything I was saying (and it was so straightforward I cannot begin to describe - all I wanted to ensure is that the engagement started upon the sellers notification. I could not get that concept through or be able to discuss it).
When I escalated, the "manager" was horrified and asked to call me. I gave my number and loads of windows to contact me. Heard nothing. Chased. Nothing....
I conclude this company is not geared up for conveyancing. I would advise just going on line and chose based on customer review and price. I now realise that location is not important here.
Good luck!
My sister, mother and I attended H&H (Now acquired by Morrison’s) in Oxted in 2018 to renew my mother’s will. My mother was very organised and having lost my father the year before had wanted to get this in order and invited my sister and I to attend as executors of her new will.
My mother passed away in March 2020 and a few days later I called H&H to ask about the will. I was told the will that H&H held was dated 2003. When I disputed this and said I remembered coming to the office/ my mother told me her will was dated 2018 the lawyer explained slightly patronosingly that we likely came to talk about a new will but Mum never finalised it. The will on the system was dated 2003. I was quite insistent and said I would start looking for a copy of the 2018 will (getting quite worried that perhaps I was mistaken and the lawyer was right). The following day the same lawyer called back to say she had found the 2018 will. I contacted the practice last week to arrange to collect the will and made an appointment to attend with my sister. On arrival no ‘sorry for your loss’, an assistant showed us to an empty room and left us sitting there while she photocopied our ID. She returned with a very tatty brown envelope with My mums name in biro written in scruffy bold text and a date in 2003 crossed out and replaced with 2018 in biro. Then she said goodbye and left us to see yourselves out!
