I used MorgagesForYachtCrew to obtain my residential mortgage. I dealt solely with Clare Viner and the service I received was excellent!
Clare was not the only mortgage broker that I used, during the early part of the process however, it was her expertise with regards to salaries in international currency, that meant that I was able to borrow that of what a non-seafaring person, earning £s could. Other reputable brokers said to be able to provide the same level of service but fell down at point of providing a ‘mortgage in principle.’ It was only thanks to Clare that I could obtain the home I wanted.
Clare was very reliable, easy to reach and very pleasant to deal with. She nurtured the process from start to finish. Due to her strong relationships with lenders, she was able to expedite parts of the process.
Clare, together with my conveyancer, helped me to exchange contracts within three weeks and complete in four.

Definitely recommend Mortgages for Yacht Crew. The whole experience was great, friendly team, quick responses and no nonsense advice.

We tried speaking to a few mortgages brokers that didn't normally deal with seafarers and found it to be very difficult to get anywhere.

Within hours of speaking to Clare we had receive an email with rough details on how much we could borrow and what was possible. Since then the whole process has been very easy and I will 100% be using them again.

I’ve been using the services of the mortgages for yacht crew team through the minefield that is buying a house.
Their help has been invaluable throughout the whole process from advice on our financial situation at the beginning all the way through to home insurance at the end.
The response to emails and phone calls is always very quick and the advice is always very good, and they have a great knowledge of the hurdles yacht crew have to go over that can be different to normal peoples applications.
