I received excellent care and attention…

I received excellent care and attention yesterday when taking my car for a service at Motorline Hyundai, Ashford, Kent. Annabelle was particularly helpful, listening to my requirements and ensuring they were carried out successfully. She was polite, friendly and very efficient, thank you.

Thank you also to the service team who did a sterling job , sending a video assessment of the work they carried out and to the guys who had the thankless task of ensuring my car was returned to me in a spotless condition. It was much appreciated.

Motorline Drive Now Canterbury

Motorline Drive Now Canterbury
-terrible experience. Paid £99 deposit on line to reserve nice looking car. Got phoned by Phil - asked for a further £151 deposit (paid), £200 for delivery, £199 admin cost. Next day got phoned by Matthew to say car been reserved by someone else! All very dodgy with instant responses possible on line. So we didn't get the car. Very disappointing, very little apology, but did get both deposits back (hadn't paid anything else). Felt so let down. A deposit and reservation counts for nothing with this company. I will never go near it again

I was looking into the possibility of getting a new car but didn’t want to be pressured into getting a car I didn’t want. At Hyundai Ashford i met with Sophie Castle from the sales team who listened to what I wanted and gave me different options but did pressure me into anything i was not interested in. First class service

Rubbish rubbish rubbish…

This has one star because I couldn't give zero. I booked my Hyundai in for a 20 minute diagnostic test 2 weeks ago for yesterday. I was phoned and told to let the mechanics know what was happening with it and to leave it for the day. When I got there I attempted to tell the two staff members the issues and was told it was before opening time at 8 and I couldn't talk to them. I then phoned at 3 and then at 4 and then walked round from work and was told the diagnostic test was inconclusive with several faults and they needed it another day. As someone familiar with cars I absolutely knew they were lying to me and when I pressed for the readouts they wouldn't show me. I was also told if I took the car and returned it I would be charged twice. I had to organise a lift at short notice and had to be dropped back at work the following morning for 7. When I phoned at 3 today I was told the car hadn't been touched "sorry Mr g. We haven't done it yet" apologies for inconvenience we won't get round to it today". One of the issues is intermittent starting so all they'de done is fitted my spare battery I have to take with me everywhere to start the car without securing it with the brackets and the old original battery plonked in the passenger footwell. Absolute shambles. Had to drive back to Westgate with it rattling and pinking and now I've got to try and find a diagnostic test somewhere else before my excellent garage Formula one Canterbury can repair it. I'm sorry if Hyundai Canterbury feel that us lower end Hyundai owners arent good enough to receive customer service and the job needed to be done. Clearly my 20 minute job that I was paying £100 for isn't above the wandering coffee drinking people looking at new Hyundai's. It's amazing when I spent £1500 with them I even got the car valeted and washed. My spending status has dropped and so has the service apparently. This is not going to be my only review. You'll be on social media too. Anyone reading this stay clear of them.

Don't do what is asked

I bought my Skoda Octavia from the Approved used Skoda Website. Had this vehicle for about 9 months now and it's a great car. However when you pay more for approved used car it is the hope you get peace of mind. This is peace of mind is when you have a manufacturer approved warranty. My Octavia suffered with the boot handle cutting in and out working and not working. I felt if the car is covered I will take it to Motorline Gillingham to be looked at see if this can be repaired under warranty. I recieved a phone call telling me that my car is in pices and Skoda won't cover the parts so pay £175 or you can't get your car back. I only asked if this can be repaired under warranty not dismantle my car and hold my feet to the fire for payment. But Skoda UK backed this behaviour from the dealer and further more told me there is a small print that this is classed as wear and tear. This is the way a loyal customer of 20 years was treated disgraceful! And I would avoid buying approved used cars as the warranty is worth less than the paper it is printed on!

We brought a Nissan Juke from Motorline…

We brought a Nissan Juke from Motorline Oxford 28th April 2021. It was a fantastic experience, we were looked after from start to finish. A few things needed doing to the car but nothing was to much trouble and everything was sorted out. Ben the general manager was very professional. Also Ash who was our sales person selling the car to us. He was very knowledgable and had a calm reassuring manner. I would highly recommend buying a car from this garage.

Do not buy a car from these cowboys

Do not buy a car from these cowboys. The after care service is non existent existent. They sold me a car in early December that had passed an MOT 3 months before but I have just had to pay over £500 to replace all four tyres, despot hardly driving it because of lockdown. Extremely suspicious. Plus, the car arrived with chipped paintwork and windscreen cracks, some of which they said they’d fix - but they are now avoiding all my calls and emails. Stay well clear.

Worst experience and close shave when…

Worst experience and close shave when looking to purchase a nearly new car from motorline Swansea toyota, they are nothing but conmen, enquired about a bmw 218 m sport auto, quoted me a monthly figure which was way higher than their online quote, when asked why he then said oh ive added gap insurance, told them to remove that still 20 a month more than online finance quote so asked for a full break down of the finance quote, when sent over, car was almost 600 more than the online price, asked why the dodgy salesman said its an admin fee! 600 pound admin fee my backside, their own site says 138 for the admin fee, no doubt they were adding extras like paint protection, smart repair insurance etc, this to me is down right deception trying to obtain extra cash to line the salesmans pockets with sales bonus on these pointless options, needless to say i am looking elsewhere and not at dodgy motorline.

Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!

Purchased an ex demo from the then Maidstone Renault dealer, came to light recently when I was having problems with the paintwork that during their “care” it was involved in an accident badly repaired and then sold as a low mileage ex demo!, approached motorline who came across as concerned to start with and then denied knowing anything about it and ignored any further communication I had with them, now attempting to go through motoring ombudsman but not hopeful of a decent outcome!
Big name, stereotypical shady car sales, disgusting and will vow to never buy another car from them!

Our current car was due for renewal so we was having a look around, we ended up in Hyundai and got chatting to Harrison Marwaha. He was extremely helpful and very patient. He arranged a test drive the same day and we then decided to go through with the sale. Harrison explained everything perfectly and made it all a lot easier.

Absolutely disgusting customer service

Absolutely disgusting customer service. I put a deposit down on a car from Canterbury and was being pushed to do so. I then have just been told that the car was sold the day before. No decency from the company to let us know. Now left a family of 4 with no car. Absolutely fuming!!!
