Motorline Coulsdon 13th Apr 2021
Usually it's the Grumpy who rant on Trust Pilot... But this time it's from an Estatic VW Golf Estate owner who is over the moon about the Managers response to a few technical issues...
Little did I expect to see the Manager himself turn up to collect my car, deal with the issue and return it the next day!
Especially when I live 45 miles from his branch!
I'm just flabbergasted at such a positive and helpful response. I can recommend this branch of Motorline at Coulsdon where I bought my car over 2 years ago. Top staff and very helpful in resolving any probs you might have.. 👍👌
Thank you Mick Austin
Motorline Peugeot Canterbury servicing.
Motorline Peugeot Canterbury servicing.
I am hoping this review will make it back to Dennis and the fab team in the service department. We took our 10 year old 508 Allure in for a persistent problem that another Peugeot main dealer had failed to resolve despite charging us several hundred pounds. We had a face to face meeting with the service manager at Canterbury to explain the predicament and he took it seriously despite the fact we were talking about a less than glamorous old banger! They fixed the problem efficiently and without a huge bill and treated us with the same respect as someone with a much more 'valuable' car, including a fabulous valet at the end. They have restored our faith in servicing. Unlike the main dealer in Maidstone - the less said the better. Many thanks Dennis and co
Excellent Customer Service
These strange Covid times made the experience of buying a car very strange but from start to finish Harrison has kept me informed every step of the way and made the whole process extremely easy. Excellent customer service.
Traded in for a younger model
Replaced my old Qashqai with younger model from Motorline Nissan in Oxford. Great help from Stuart there and got a good deal with no fuss. I have been a customer there for 5 years and everything has gone smoothly. A great plus is the staff treat you like a normal human being even though you drive a used car, unlike others in the past where you seem only worth giving attention to if you want to buy a new one.
Terrible dont buy
Terrible dont buy, you will get ignored only your best friends till sale after that they do not want to know.
Gatwick Peugeot Review
We recently purchased a new 2008 at the Gatwick Branch and were very satisfied with the service we received, we received regular updated and were very happy with everything. thank you Mark.
The worst dealer - no customer service at all
Put in deposit to buy a car (when they push you to buy over the phone), delivered the car with scratches on side and alloys that the salesperson promised to fix before delivery, but obviously not. Refused to accept the car. I have to call them several times trying to sort out the problem but the manager's attitude is ridiculous saying they have done extra to fix it (but those are what they promised but didn't do it properly before delivery!). I was so angry and cancelled the purchase. After more than 2 weeks now, I am still waiting for the refund of the deposit and no reply for my several chase-up email, and NO confirmation on cancellation of finance - just afraid that will affect my credit rating down the line. What a disgrace!! Never never buy from Motorline!!
Motorline Toyota Stourbridge
Had a great experience there. They helped me when my old MR2 roadster developed issue on the way to pick up a new car battery from them. They supplied me with a courtesy car and had my car up and running in 24 hours. Their service rep called Paul Pollard really went out of his way to get us back on the road quickly and the technician did a great job. He really new his stuff. The price we were charged was excellent. We were expecting it to be more so we were very happy when we got the bill. Would definitely recommend.
Motorline Canterbury - avoid save yourself
Have dealt with Motorline Canterbury Toyota a few times now, and each time seems to be painful - the first vehicle purchase resulted in my wife in tears because the sales person could not get the forms correct for the finance agreement, resulting in multiple credit checks, multiple visits, lots of faff and nearly losing the vehicle. The branch did not understand their own scrappage scheme, again resulting in major hassles during the purchase process lots of trips back and forth to the retailer. At that point we thought well at least we got the vehicle, a few years later we traded in for another vehicle and foolishly went back, the end result was the sales person taking hours to agree the deal then pricing up a manual vehicle vs what should have been automatic and having to go through some of the process again making for a lengthy and inaccurate process. Over the last few years consistent inaccuracies - not updating contact details when moving house, unable to spell my wife's name correctly despite it being on the forms, resulting in emails never arriving to her regards her servicing. Final straw yesterday - upon going in for vehicle service, which was all paid for using a Motorline service plan, they randomly cancel the plan that morning (which had 3 services still to go) charge my wife £120 for absolutely no reason, then result in a day of us chasing why have you done this - to be told oh we (the branch) didn't update the policy to the new vehicle (despite being told it would be done last year and it being one of the terms and conditions of said policy) and as such we have had to cancel and ask for a charge. At first we were told we would have to take out a new plan and prices have gone up - yet another mistake since we took out the policy in 2017 and fixed our price, so we would have been losing out, secondly after much arguments the salesperson who should have updated the paperwork came up with a "plan" and seemingly couldn't do basic maths, the "plan" resulted in us still being further out of pocket and waiting for refunds. At which point with my wife upset and my temper frayed at a situation that was entirely not our fault, we seemingly were being told to foot the rest of the bill. The salespersons attitude was to quote "I've spent all afternoon on this and its the best I can do" what kind of attitude is that? its not the best you can do because its still wrong and you are still expecting us to be out of pocket!! The best you can do is to rectify the situation with zero loss to us for your branch's mistakes. At which point I escalated to the manager. The final straw turns out to be two things 1/ Being told that they were generously paying a portion of the new service plan to cover the difference.....no that is not being generous that is putting things back as they were so that the price to us was what we had already paid - no compensation, do not make out that you are doing us a favour for your mess up, when the favour is simply returning us to our original cost and 2/ This morning in daylight my wife finds the car that we were told was cleaned, has hardly been cleaned at all inside - a small issue I know but after all the stress - what utter utter poor service.

Regarding "Motorline Audi Maidstone"
Sales person was great. However minor snag: wasn't given an 10-digit tag for Audi Connect. My local dealer (Birmingham) made me aware of such a thing so I called Maidstone and they insisted I was given a tag, but I don't recall being handed one. It was their word against mine, and since it's almost a year since the exchange, they didn't want to help rectify it.
Had left a sour taste in my mouth.
Moral of the story: check EVERYTHING before driving off the site, and confirm with their sales people. They won't be as customer friendly later on down the line.

Unhelpful at Canterbury
Unhelpful at Canterbury
Tried to book car in for service and requested ‘collect and return’ which I have used every year for the last 20 years (despite being charged for it last year). Was told I do not live or work within a 15 mile radius and this is now not an option for me as I am 19 miles away. Kind of precludes quite a lot of people who would be able to purchase an Audi from doing so - unless presumably I drive 4 miles up the road and have the car collected from there....
Motorline Toyota Bristol Gloucester rd
Motorline Toyota Bristol Gloucester rd. Absolutely terrible, they lie, charge for work that dosn't need to be done. The customer service is awful. They wont give you a straight answer, they definitely do not care about the customer at all. I was so fooled by the nice setup.

Recently purchased a used car from Samantha at Audi Maidstone excellent customer service especially as all done over the phone click and collect service
Avoid, Avoid, trust me avoid!
So I’ve tried to buy 2 cars from these cowboys over the past 2 years. The first was a Renault. I succeeded on buying it but the wheel was cracked and they “missed it” on the PDI. That was useful as I’d ask them to check why the TPS system light was in when I test drove it. The customer service that followed was shocking and in the end I had to speak to the MD’s PA to get it resolved and the car returned.
The second time I tried to purchase, I ordered online and paid the reservation fee, plus arranged to test drive and collect the car the next morning.
Next morning arrived, I went to the showroom in Ashford and there was another couple just completing their purchase of the said reserved and paid deposit car!
The sales persons excuse.......computer error. No apologies, no one to blame just the computer!
Honestly there are enough decent car traders and garages out there, you shouldn’t waste your money at MOTORLINE. If I could give these cowboys a lesser rating I would!

Amazing customer service from Stephen and Nick at Horsham branch. During really tricky COVID/furlough times these two were amazing!
Big thank you to them both for sorting out my issues and really going above and beyond.
You both really are great, and I really appreciate the help you gave me. Happy Christmas x x
