I have just acquired a new Motorola…
I have just acquired a new Motorola phone with the assurance from friends that transferring data is easy.
Don't joke - all these wonderful online tutorials - try it and after half a day the "time" to finish transfer had reduced from 2 hours and one minute to 1 hour 54 minutes. Jokers.... it dont work and you need to get your act together. Probably just bin the new phone - at least motorola are cheap and cheerful and keep the old one
No Help At All From Motorola!
The screen on my Razr 40 Ultra has an issue, (shocker 🙄). So I contacted Motorola directly to see if they could repair it, (probably at my cost?). The customer service member made me jump through LOADS of hoops with pictures and descriptions etc. once I'd completed all their requests, they failed to respond??? Shocking customer service, will not be buying any more Motorola products! 😡

Sleek, Smart, and a Little Bit Retro
Motorola’s latest lineup is a masterclass in design-meets-function. Whether you’re unfolding the futuristic Razr Ultra or gripping the ultra-tough Moto G75 5G, these devices don’t just keep up—they stand out. So “Where is my Rola?”;)
I’ve had a long history with the Razr
I’ve had a long history with the Razr. Around 20 years ago, I bought the original model and absolutely loved it — easily my favorite phone of all time. So when Motorola brought the Razr back, I couldn’t resist giving it another shot. Unfortunately, the experience has been mixed. I bought the first re-released version, but it just wasn’t user-friendly enough for daily use, so I switched back to my Samsung. When the Razr 40 came out, I gave it another try and genuinely enjoyed using it — even though the camera quality was lacking. Then issues started to creep in. I noticed multiple dead pixels on the display and reached out to Motorola support, only to be told, essentially, “tough luck.” Thankfully, I was able to get it sorted through EE’s repair service. But just one week before my upgrade was due, the screen started pulling away from the casing. I sent it off to Motorola, who use a third-party repair company. They took photos of the device when it arrived — fully intact — but days later claimed I had damaged the screen myself. Their own photos showed the damage occurred while in their possession, but they refused to take responsibility. Also sent me a bill for either £600 to repair or £30 to send the broken one back! I was frustrated, but since I was eligible for an upgrade, I decided to move on and purchased the new Motorola Razr 2025. Now I’m sitting here with a brand-new device that clicks when I run my finger across the screen hinge, and sometimes cuts out when I plug it in to charge. I absolutely love the look and feel of the Razr — it's a beautifully designed phone. But after multiple letdowns, poor quality control, and dismissive customer support, I’m seriously questioning whether it’s worth sticking with Motorola any longer.

Don't believe the 10% discount they offer for signing up to newsletter. Nearly all phones you cannot use it on. Beware the chatbot! Will waste your time!
After-sales support poor
Had to use the chatbot twice, which did not understand my query.
After being able to get to chat with a real person, I was entitled to an in-warranty repair. Assurant are their approved repairers and I was to be contacted by them in a couple of days. A week later still not contact.
So, back to WhatsApp and having to go through the rigmarole of trying to explain to the chatbot what my issue issue - guess what?, it didn't understand so I was put into a queue with 2 before me. A couple of minutes later, only 1 before me.
Now, 17 minutes later, I am still waiting. I don't know whether I am still in the queue. I asked "Hello, am I still in the queue, to which I receive an auto response "We are connecting you to an agent... Please wait a moment."
How long is a moment?
Very poor.
Do not buy directly from Motorola…
Do not buy directly from Motorola website. Firstly it took 2 weeks to deliver the phone. This took too long as I was without a phone so I ordered the same phone (for a cheaper price) from Amazon with next day delivery. I tried to arrange a return with Motorola and 4 times that have said that TNT would collect the phone and 4 times they have not showed up. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. So bad I am also going to return the phone from Amazon too. I don't want these jokers to get any of my money. I still can't get them to deal with me effectively or treat me with respect, so here I am on all the social media sites telling the world what an awful, disrespectful company they are ... Oh and the CEO will be getting a few spam emails as well.
Moto G14 manufacturing error
Hi,
I bought a Moto G14 , and forgot the password, I tried to do factory reset but the order is missing !!!!!!!!!
I tried through google account but didn't work as well
I spoke to customer service and gave them the IME number and they said the only option is to do a repair by them and I sent the phone to motorolla support , then I received an email from The Assurant Device Repair Team at lenovo warranty saying that I need to pay £56.26 Due to needing the Google Account Removed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-the phone is still in warranty period.
-the phone has a manufacturing error as it lacks factory reset order.
-Google account is part of the faulty system, I didn't install it or remove it.
-the repair was offered by Motorola customer service because there are no other options to fix the faulty system
-You are violating my rights in free repair for a manufacturing error.
I wouldn't advice anyone to buy from Motorola /Lenovo ever.
Poor performance
Please may I warn future potential customers of Motorola UK, when purchasing mobile phone from UK website, item will be shipped from Nobelstraat Nederlands via their chosen courier partner UPS..fair warning please heed the multiple poor feedback regarding UPS as consistent poor performers, poor customer satisfaction, poor capabilities to deliver to UK in timely fashion, poorly performing functions on the UPS app. I speak from experience please avoid if other options are viable to you, you will see other with similar feedback regarding their experience dealing with UPS for European service-they are hapless.
No refund. Credit Card chargeback
I had to decline delivery as it was delayed daily for over a week when it was supposed to arrive within 2-3 days.
Motorola didn't fill out the correct paperwork for customs. Quite amateur.
Then they lie and lie saying I will get a refund. This has been going on for a month and a half.
I've had to start a chargeback from my credit card company.
Won't refund order, just excuse after excuse.
Paid for a mobile phone in full which was sent out for delivery or supposedly then advised there had been an issue with the courier & would be returned to Motorola, I requested a refund as this was an option & despite constant emails & excuses I am still awaiting my refund getting toward 2 months, utter shambles of a set up & avoid at all costs.
Avoid at all costs!!
Avoid at all costs.
Absolute disgrace of a company. Take payment for goods that they don't even send. Customer support won't help or come back to you. I am having to go through my card provider to get my money back.
I have returned a phone from Motorola…
I have returned a phone from Motorola and I've been requesting a waiting for a refund for around 2 months. Every time we call them they say that they will pass on the problem to the refund team and nothing happens until now.fraud and very bad customer service
Its been 1 month 2 weeks since I have…
Its been 1 month 2 weeks since I have paid over 1300 for my order, I have chased and chased them and kept getting told they will dispatch and now nothing has happened, what a waste and joke of a company, The amount of emails, posts on their forums and phonescalls I have made is ridiculous and yet no resolution. Very dodgy and illegal practice from this company!
38 days since I placed an order
38 days since I placed an order, this seemed to get stuck in customs after a few days. Have chased endless times since then. Fobbed off constantly. Have requested a refund, no update on that either so I've raised a dispute with my bank. Would never by from them directly again.

Great repair experience
Phone just under 2 years, screen developed a fault. They picked it up, fixed it and returned it within a week good as new! Great service
Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. Never delivered my order and neither refunded me my money its been over 2 weeks since i placed the order.
Company is a total scam. Takes money doesn't provide any goods or refund
Many people with same experience. Take a look at the Motorola forums, littered with people who have had money taken, no items and no refund.
Support are clowns. Can't comment on actual products because I've NEVER HAD ANY DELIVERED!
Downloaded an update without asking me…
Downloaded an update without asking me for permission.
My Motorola g54 has just updated its self with out even asking me. I hate this phone. I hate Motorola. I wish I had never bought it. I can't wait to get a phone without Motorola or Google in it. I will never buy another Motorola phone ever again in my entire life.
