Great service from initially seeing the car online to collecting it. Both Charlie, who was my first contact by phone, and Zac, who looked after the handover, were exemplary in the way they dealt with my questions.

Welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. Made the experience pleasant and easy. Harrison was brilliant and Sheri very helpful, with a great attitude.

The car I was interested in had to be brought down to from Birmingham to Ipswich ,for which I had to pay £149 .
This made me slightly uncomfortable.
But the car was ok .On the test drive I noticed that the reversing camera , which is pretty much standard equipment nowadays ,did not work when I reversed , the salesman said it was probably because it was obscured by the trade plates !
I accepted this and purchased the car .
However after I had paid for the car I found that there ‘ was no reversing camera ‘
I made a complaint and was told that the car wasn’t fitted with a reversing camera !
As I suffer with arthritis in my neck , And find it difficult to turn my head round very far ,
I was forced to have one fitted at a cost of £ 600
I complained to the manager but to no avail
also one of the front disc brakes was not working properly which they did fix under the warranty !
I feel that ,as I was told that
the car did have a reversing camera which turned out to be untrue ,that I am owed some kind of compensation !
I would strongly advise against purchasing the extended warranty offered by Defend Insurance. My experience was frustrating and costly. After encountering issues with my vehicle, I followed their instructions and brought it to a VAT-registered garage, as they claimed they would cover one hour of diagnostic work.
However, once we submitted the diagnostic report, Defend Insurance demanded an exhaustive breakdown—including specific fault descriptions, part numbers, and detailed repair procedures. The only way to obtain such information would have been to dismantle the vehicle, a process only an authorized Nissan dealership could perform. Crucially, this requirement was never communicated upfront.
Ultimately, I spent a little over £150 on diagnostics with no resolution, and Defend Insurance refused to reimburse the cost—despite having paid over £500 for a five-year warranty. The lack of transparency and support makes this warranty feel more like a marketing tactic than a genuine service.
Great service from all the staff, pleasure to do business with!
On the collection summary it stated that the next service was due May 2026, this was incorrect it was due May 2025. I had it serviced at Hyundai in Southend and they informed me that the front brake discs were badly corroded and wouldn't pass an MOT test. I informed you of this a couple of times but had no response!
I was really surprised at the quality of the service and how professional the guys were. I have dealt with a car supermarket before in Ipswich and motorpoint are leagues ahead of the competition I would say.
I was very happy with the part exchange price which was given to me for the vehicle I was selling and the car by purchased was outstanding with full service history and was not expensive at all.
Everything went so smoothly and quickly, staff were helpful and friendly and l got a good deal on my part exchange
Very good service, Cameron was just great giving us all the information ...
Brought a LEVC van from Motorpoint around 2 years ago when buying i was told the van was due a service and to contact them when its convenient for me to get it serviced not before a specific date.
Got in contact and had the van services at through Motorpoint Ipswich at a local garage.
After a 18months ownership I had a massive issue with the van and the work needed to be done under warranty.
When the warranty claim was out though it was declined due to the service history not being intact and done within a specified time frame!
Do due to the lack of knowledge or the sales man I’ve now got a £5000 bill that will need paying if I go ahead and pay myself but this work should of been done under the warranty these can come with 5 year warranty! Which was void after the service wasn’t done before a specific date!
I’ve been in talks and emails with Motorpoint for over 2months now! Not getting anywhere trying to blame me for the warranty not being intact!
In this time I’ve had to pay over £1000 to hire a van and I’ve eventually had to buy a new van due to this becoming to much of monthly payments!
Im now potentially going to be out of pocket over £6000 due to no fault of my own!
The LEVC now sits abandoned in the LEVC service garage around £10-£14000 sitting there!
This is very disappointing and frustrating as I was hoping to keep the van for another year and still have warranty intact for the next owner!
I spent days fully insulating the van and keeping it in top condition but now it just sits rotting and covered in cobwebs!
Hopefully this review will shed some light one how servicing a vehicle at the correct times with the correct items being serivced can effect your warranty!
Not impressed and mentally drained by this whole scenario!
Every step of the way was excellent with sales person answering all questions I asked. i would recommend my friend's to buy a vehicle from motorpoint.
Customer service is very good staff were so helpful and patient with client.
I will be happy to recommend more people for motorpoint Ipswich .
Nice team !!
Service provided by the Ipswich Branch was generally very good and friendly . Purchase was marred by the car being advertised on the web, with photographs of the dash, at 3,500 miles when in reality it was 7,500. The mileage discrepancy was no fault of the Ipswich Branch

I am not good with cars or technology. Indeed I’m not at all interested in either which is why I was accompanied by someone who was.
Nevertheless Declan addressed himself to me and was very patient not getting exasperated by my ignorance.
Also when I panicked about the vast number of emails sent he calmly dealt with them all.
