I love Mouse House cheeses. Always look great on a buffet table at functions etc. Had a minor hiccup with a recent order in that a brand new flavour had not made it off the production line in time... See more

After a minor issue with my order at what I can only imagine is a very busy period for Mouse House all is now sorted thanks to their first rate customer service.
And lovely Cheese too, can't beat a bit of Cheese. Thank you Team.
Ordered 2 x rainbow boxes on 10 November for Christmas delivery. Still not arrived, and attempted to call the number listed, but never got any further than the recorded greeting before I was cut off. I contacted a shop across the road who were kind enough to pop over and ask them to call me, but came back with a message that they don't have a phone and someone at head office would contact me (which they didnt). I'm now planning to travel 50 miles tomorrow and turn up in person to find out where the hell my rainbow boxes are and why they weren't dispatched or why I wasn't provided with tracking details. I will also expect compensation for a lost day travelling. Never buying from this outfit again.
Best cheese we’ve ever tasted :) will definitely be ordering more!
Disappointing. I ordered some 'Christmas' cheeses in September through QVC. I knew the shipping wouldn't be until nearer Christmas. Also advised that the company would be using their own selected courier company.
Received an email confirming order was shipped on 2 December. Nothing received to date and no further communication so contacted QVC today and they confirmed that I should have received the order by 10 December at the latest, and that it was now out of stock. Thankfully, and as always, QVC were so helpful and said they would arrange a refund. Having read other recent reviews here it makes me wonder if there is more to this than just a "lost parcel".
Ordered a large quantity a few weeks ago and 3 arrived, contacted customer services and they apologized and said they would get the rest of the order straight out . that was over a week ago and now we can not get hold of anybody. starting to get worried here as suspect company is in trouble. Maybe just a clitch but suggest people give this company a miss for now
What a difference a year makes, last year good service, quick delivery. This year the exact opposite, placed an order on Dec 4th, still waiting on that order being delivered, as others have said, the phone number now tells you to contact by email, done that twice now with no reply to either. My Order was Number 121019, that should give you a last chance to find my details and contact me, otherwise I will just raise a chargeback for my money when I get home from work tomorrow, very disappointed, I don't know what has happened, or maybe I was just lucky last year and this is normal service?
Within 10 hours of my original review, auto email to tell me my order has been, shipped, with 24hrs a response to my emails saying the same, and with 48hrs order was delivered, so I have knocked my review up as an overall for the two years I have used Mouse House.
As someone in Hospitality, I don't like having to push for service through reviews, I know a lot will just be after freebies, in case these are read by Mouse house, I would suggest use cut off dates on your website, anything after is not a Guarantee, push it back to us as customers to act in time or it's our fault, but most of all Comms. customers I find can be more understanding as long as they know what is going on
Thanks for My Cheese
Very poor communication, ordered in October for delivery in early December and still don't have the order now on 16/12/2025. Won't reply to emails and won't pick up the phone.
Really poor customer service. Ordered over 2 weeks ago and still no delivery.
After contacting customer service they assured me it would be dispatched this week and delivered this week after I told them I’m desperate for it. Chased it up again Thursday, they provided a tracking number which according to Royal Mail doesn’t exist.
Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere, I’m about to raise a dispute with my credit card.
I haven’t tasted the cheese yet – waiting until Christmas. However, I ordered at 11.00 on 10th December and the cheese was delivered at 14.00 on the 11th! There was a problem with the delivery, so I rang The Mouse House. In in this day and age, what a joy to be able to talk to a friendly human being to explain the situation! The problem was explained and rectification promised same day – and it was. The additional cheese to complete the order arrived at 14.00 today, the 12th - brilliant service. Every business makes mistakes; the real test is how they rectify them – and full marks to The Mouse House team! Now I’m looking forward to Christmas to get stuck-in to the cheese!
Order simple to filled in. spoke to seller as I made an error in delivery address all sorted within minurtes Cheese delightfully box arrived safe and sound my sister in law was very pleased
For the 2nd time,in as many weeks I'm having to chase up another order. They say before leaving a bad review let them try to make things right. I tried that and they are no longer taking calls and referring everything to email. I have used The Mouse House Cheese Company for a while now and, have always recommended them, I will no longer be doing either. Here's a message Mouse House, do not take more orders than you can deal with.
Heese..........this is an update, the !ouse House Cheese Co. rang me on the 10th Dec and by the 11th Dec I had my order. Mouse House replaced my missing order and were the most pleasant people to deal with so I'm back to thoroughly recommending them and will enjoy my future orders....Rose-Marie Morgan
I have used this company for a few years now. I came across them by accident one day and decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed and now use them once or twice a year ( normally at the end of November, beginning of December ) to ensure I have some cheeses for the festive period and then midway through the year to top up my supplies.
All the little barrels/truckles are well-packed, and in my experience, they are dispatched quickly.
My particular favourites are the Guru, Cheddar with Cranberries, and the Chilli Cheddar.
I must admit to looking forward to trying the Lemon Cheesecake Cheddar, two of my favourite things to eat combined, which can surely only be a win-win-win situation.
I shall return
We found the mouse house shop a couple of years ago, when we spent a Christmas weekend in Lincoln. I’ve been ordering from them ever since. Great cheeses and they are very well packed. Delivery is always quick and we have never had a problem.
These cheeses are excellent. I usually give them as gifts for Christmas and birthdays and they are always well received.
All ok so far, nice cheese, at a fair offer price, all orders delivered promptly and in good order, I have put in a Xmas order, and have not got a delivery date yet, I guess its too early to give me one yet, although I asked on the Xmas order to advise on the date.? So far 100% happy. Please dont forget my xmas order!! Love the cheese Barrels, and flavours, keep up the good work. John
I ordered on Friday 7th and the cheeses arrived on Saturday the 8th! What brilliant service and, of course, what gorgeous cheese!
Cheese arrived in good condition and with a good date. Delivery not great for £5.95. No tracking at any point and normally cheese comes with a cold pack to keep in cool. I'll go back to my normal shop from now on
Great service and the cheeses and chutneys are just so yummy.
I came across this brand via a well known shopping channel and it was a great way to discover them. However, nowadays I shop direct as I can control my bundles. I never like red leicester cheese but now I am won over. It is our families new place to go to especially for the christmas cheese board.
Super range of high quality cheeses .
Easy to navigate website as well.
The cheeses always come well packed as well .
I have gifted cheeses from this company many times and they are always well received.
Excellent value for money.
Highly recommend mouse house cheeses
