questionable value for money
After my first bad review "bad value for money" I was contacted by the seller. Apparently, I did not use the proper brewing method, as I was explained by the seller. So, I started brewing the tea as they explained with multiple infusions. To my taste the first brew was too bitter, but starting from the third brew it was too weak and not tasty. I did not feel any aroma or anything special at all, just like drinking hot water. So, in my opinion nothing changed much. For me it just doesn't work.

We just wanted to gently clarify something about the teas you purchased. You ordered two samples of high-quality loose leaf teas. These are not intended to be prepared like a regular tea bag for one large mug. They are traditionally brewed in the Gong Fu Cha style — a method using a small teapot or gaiwan with short, repeated infusions.
With this method, a 7g sample can easily give you 6–8 infusions. In total, that comes close to one liter of tea from one sample. The idea is not one cup, but a sequence of evolving infusions, where the taste changes and develops each time. This is part of the experience and the reason why loose leaf tea of this quality is valued differently from standard tea.
If this brewing method was unfamiliar, we completely understand how the price might seem high when compared to a single restaurant cup. But prepared correctly, the value per cup becomes much lower — and the experience much richer.
We are always happy to guide our customers step by step. If you would like, we can send you simple brewing instructions so you can get the full experience from your tea.
We put a lot of care into selecting and storing our teas, and we are proud of their quality. When we receive a low rating because the brewing method was not clear, it honestly feels a bit unfair — not because of the stars themselves, but because we know the tea can offer much more than what was experienced.

Was nice to try but I’m more a fan of more pronounced flavors, such as the sour notes of gaba oolongs, or tie guanyin. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I haven’t got any troubles, only satisfaction.

Lost order
On January 7, I placed an online order for teas and teaware. According to UPS, the package was “delivered” on January 9—but I never received it.
I immediately contacted Moychay’s customer service, but to this day the issue remains unresolved. Their response was disappointing: they claimed it was out of their control and not their fault that the order was lost. UPS told me to contact the sender because only they can file a claim. Moychay initially said they would start an investigation, but when I followed up, I was told by Sofia from Moychay that the UPS website does not accept Excel attachments—meaning the investigation was never submitted. This was already few days past. And now 15 days later and still doesn't know what's gonna happen with the lost order and my payment and no claim or investigation submitted to the UPS.
This experience has been deeply frustrating and unacceptable. This is not an isolated incident. She told me that there were other claims of lost orders. Moychay needs to take responsibility and implement precautions to prevent this from happening again—such as having an agreement with the courier requiring a signature and valid ID upon delivery.
I will never buy online on this shop again. It's a shame because they really have good teas when I tried at their cafe in Amsterdam. That's what makes me order online in the first place.
Update to this case: Feb 5, 2026- Moychay have finally sent a refund of my payment to my order which I haven't receive. Thank you Moychay! Maybe someday when I'll be in Amsterdam I surely will visit your shop and cafe.

Regarding your order — it was shipped 3 calendar days after it was placed (according to our shipping policy of 2–4 business days). After that, the responsibility lies with the transport company, whose work we cannot control, though we can provide full informational support to the customer.
It seems that a one-week delivery time for an order coming from another country is a normal situation.
