Documents upload kept changing and…

Documents upload kept changing and needing more please just add the correct document request at point of application, also i couldn't attached the document to the section then IT had to look at the case (if the product had changed i couldn't submit the application to secure it) and had to wait overnight for IT!! This shouldn't happen

Post FMA communication very poor

Post FMA communication very poor, system didn't register documents loaded which prolonged the time line. Positive, emails to the to and from Broker Support (Rhonda) exceptionally good, detailed, quick.

Quick application process …

Submitting an application is a smooth and quick process. I was also impressed by having direct communication with underwriter. Portal is easy to navigate and you can keep an eye on the application progress at every step. We had mortgage offer issued and my clients were very happy. Thank you MPowered Mortgages

Underwriting timescales

Approach of having the case fully underwritten pending valuation is understandable but the underwriting seems to take considerably longer, that's even after escalation.

Very easy system to use

Very easy system to use, document upload is good. I have only given 4 stars as it has taken 4 weeks to get a surveyer out to the property. I haven't received the offer yet, but told that this should be out today! Fingers Crossed.

Your underwriter didn't understand your…

Your underwriter didn't understand your own lending policy so I had to appeal a declined decision. This caused me unnecessary additional work and meant another week of delay whilst this was rectified.

Extremely poor service

Extremely poor service from Mpowered, for both broker and buyers.

We were made to submit countless documents to prove we had not only the requisite funds for purchase, but other moving costs, despite this not being legally required. Documentation was continuously requested slowly, and not clearly laid out at the start of the process, which led to a two-week delay to our purchase. To top it off, we were then asked for a document from our bank verifying the amount that would be provided as a bonus on our Help to Buy ISA, despite the nature of the account being clearly expressed on documentation and it being a well-known scheme. Upon checking with the bank, they said no such document exists and were concerned that a lender would ask for this information.

Overall, a terrible, slow and ineffective process which has led us to take our business elsewhere. Our brokers, very experienced in the profession, have not heard of anything like it and were extremely disappointed.

Disapointing.

Way to long to sort and respond. asking for same documents already sent. asking for items which could have been asked for straight away. asking for wrong items for client!
