I was photographed by Brock for his “Scars” project. Came to meet him with a low self confidence in myself, doubting if I will be able to fully expose my face scar in front of the camera. I had other photo shoots done before, but all of them had my scar fully masked.
After telling my story to Brock and listening to his, eating delicious homemade pizza, listening to my favourite Radiohead album and getting photographed, I felt that this project opened a new positive way of seeing myself. I drove back home from south to north London and cried of joy. The best and unforgettable experience x

A few years back I traveled to the UK from California, and was able to do a shoot with Brock for his Vitiligo series. It was a freezing cold, rainy day, the trains were all running late, I had no cell reception, and I was in an unfamiliar country, so I was very stressed out. But as soon as I got to his place, he was so kind and welcoming that I immediately felt at ease. I had a great experience being photographed by him! And the photos turned out so amazing, I will cherish them forever.

Met Brock professionally, stayed friends and worked together collaboratively. Bricks immensely talented and a good laugh. Does some amazing and very interesting work often for a good cause

As a charity we worked in partnership with Brock to produce a series of portraits of children and adults affected by a rare skin condition. The project raised major awareness of the condition on an international level, as well as increasing the self esteem and confidence of all those who were photographed. Would highly recommend working with The Brock Elbank Foundation.

Brock photographed me for the cover of Timeout magazine. That photo was partially responsible for getting me a wife. Thanks Brock.

Quite a few years ago now Brock spotted a picture of my daughter in a school advertisement. He contacted me via the school and invited Pippa to be a subject for his Freckles project . She thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the photographs were incredible! Thankyou Brock .

Brock was the first person to take photos of Elizabeth (aka MCP) that made her look like the way we see her, vibrant, cheeky, happy and fearless. In the images Brock portrayed her inner self and not just what’s on the surface.

I live and come from Vienna, Austria and had the best shoot with the best photographer in London. I felt so well taken care of and so comfortable with him. I’m so grateful and so thankful be a part of his project and it was a great experience. Thank you so much! Highly recommended. 🙏🏽

I had an immense feeling of liberation after my shoot with Brock where I was lucky enough to feature in his vitiligo series. for over 40 years I had hidden my vitiligo and was encouraged to finally be my true self after seeing the incredible subjects who had showcased their uniqueness throughout the Vitiligo series. It was both an honour and a life changing expierience to have been fortunate enough to take part.

I truly cannot express how wonderful working with Brock was! I felt so safe, so seen, and so capable of telling my scar story without fear of judgment. I've never felt more empowered to tell my story, it was as if Brock handed me a microphone and the whole world grew quiet to listen. I was able to be a part of the vitiligo series a few years back and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. It helped me grow and changed my perspective on life with vitiligo. Each Image brings forth inspiration and confidence. Through this I was able to branch out further and be contacted to share my story. I’m forever grateful for this experience!

Fantastic experience with Mr. Elbank. He was super welcoming and warm. We recorded a podcast episode and then did the photo shoot. I felt very comfortable and at ease in Mr. Elbank's studio the entire time. It was empowering to be able to share my story in a safe space and be seen. Mr. Elbank is doing excellent and meaningful work, and I am honored to be a part of the scars portrait series.
