Mr.Electric Reviews 

Mr Electric (Chigwell) carried out 3 Landlord Safety Checks on 7th April 2017. I only received the reports on 9/5/2017 & the details of the property were incorrect on 2 of the reports. I have had to chase them on numerous occasions to even get these reports.

Dreadful - rude, pushy and not recommended. Biggest mistake I have ever made. Be warned! Mr Electric should be avoided at all cost. Note: they have also changed their name on here from Mr-Electric to MrElectric hence hiding all the previous bad reviews! You can still read them here though. Mine is specifically for the Bournemouth Branch

Called these guys at 8am this morning. By 11am, fault found a rectified at a pretty reasonable price.

My house needed a full rewire, glad I called Mr Electric Luton & Herts. Very efficient service, great company, tidy and polite electricians.

Called Mr. Electric Luton & Herts. Fabulous service by a great company. This company was recommended by my mother and certainly lived up to expectations. Arrived on Time wore overshoes polite electrician who fixed the problem.

Needed some equipment PAT testing for a job a few days away. Explained the requirement to have the certificates before the specific date, which they said they would do. Certificates eventually turned up 3 days after the deadline, rendering them practically useless. I won't be using them again.

Despite contacting Lee Ives in Northampton many times it is now over 4 months since they finished the job but haven't provided missing bulbs for light fittings nor any receipt/documentation and promised work guarantee / certificate. Really tainted the experience for such trivial items to complete from their point of view. Otherwise a reasonable job although other mistakes were made along the way that had to be corrected.

Stuck to prices quoted and tidied up work area on completion.
Would definitely recommend them.

I am absolutely delighted with the services offered by Mr Electric
I called them and within 30 minutes they came on site as I did not have any power in my house and was concerned as it was late afternoon.

The gentleman came he introduced himself and showed me is ID card
then he put his mat down and covered his shoes
Then he explained to me what he was going to do in a way that I could understand and went about doing his work

He checked the fuse board and then started work to trace the faults and problems
when he finished he work he cleaned the area where he worked and left

what a breath of fresh air to have a company sending qualified electricians who take pride in their work but mainly respect the customer property like if it was their own

I was very impressed with Mr Electrics professional nature right from the start, they rang when they were on the way, wore blue protectors on their shoes (not many companies do this in my experience) and were very happy to stand with me and explain what had gone wrong and what they were going to do to make it right etc. I've not had any issues since the visit and have been very impressed with their follow up calls to ensure I was happy with everything.

First class service from start to finish - from making the appointment, the electrician arrived in the designated time slot and called ten minutes beforehand. He carried out my repairs very efficiently and cleared away all rubbish before he left. Very impressed.

Excellent job but too expensive

Very quick telephone response and friendly advice given over phone. Could have come out and charged me but honest response appreciated. Would use for a rewire after that!

Fantastic, prompt, kept me informed on work necessary completed it efficiently. Nice all round guy. Good value for money, first port of call should there be any issues from my present tennant

We have just moved into our new home and wanted everything checking over and some repairs done. Mr Electric sent Kieran and a colleague along and they did what we asked them to do and the price was very reasonable. We needed some additional works doing that were found during the testing and these were all done swiftly and professionally. What ever we wanted done they were happy to do. Very happy with the service and would recommend then to anyone looking for an electrician in Leicester!

I asked Mr Electric to upgrade my electrics by fitting a new consumer unit in my holiday flat. The mains supply comes in from the ground, feeds my own meter, then runs to the holiday flat above. On completion of the work, the 1st visitor to the flat above received a severe electric shock. The owner's electrician was called in. He diagnosed a missing earth to the entire flat and called in the power distribution company. The missing earth was due to severed earth cables in my own flat, which were then reconnected. Mr Electric's response was that they don't remember severing the earth link to the flat above my own when fitting the new consumer unit. So that makes it ok then? Avoid this company.
