Good selection, especially for household and seasonal . There not as cheap as an other well know discount store in Ireland and I would not spend spend a couple of euro extra on certain items than an o... See more

The wrong price scanned on our item when we said to the staff member it was wrong she argued with us and said she , do you want me to go and check the price. We replied yes she reluctantly went and checked it , it was incorrect. Didn't apologise just asked for money very rude staff member. My son was buying it using his own money
Terrible customer service. Extremely rude cashier. Shouted at me and felt so humilated leaving the store. I have written a complaint to head office also.
Both stores in blanchardstown are very untidy. I went into the one in the centre and I was shocked at how dirty and disorganised the store was and there were no staff around trying to sort it out. Very bad management in my opinion.
' Naas store 10/10 for customer service. The staff take time to chat to you and made it a lovely pleasant shopping experience well done. Dealz could learn from this crew
Inflated prices at the till again, compared to the label price. It's not a matter of reading the wrong label, and it's not an accident. One too many times calculating what I'm buying as I go and then seeing the inflated price on the receipt. I'm certain they're doing it intentionally, relying on people not wanting to make a scene at the tills. I won't be robbed, no reason to ever shop there again!
Some really cheap skin and bath products, quality brands too
I was pleasantly surprised by the range of products at the Ballina store. However, I found that labels under products did not mention the exact product but highlighted the reduced price. I saw a price for dishwashing tablets that was surprisingly low. I decided to ask a staff member if this was the right price. He said no I don’t think it is corresponding to the product. It was likely a higher price. It is very misleading. Consumer affairs should look at the lack of information provided to the customer. I will be back but with a calculator.
I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get a high quality 500 piece jigsaw puzzle of E.T. for €7 in the North Main Street, Cork store. The puzzle, I bought will look grand when it is completed. I had a look around and the store is well laid out with plenty of products on the shelves. The place is also very clean, staff are friendly and it is easy for me to walk between aisles while I am browsing. I was also not waiting long to be served at the till and would gladly recommend to other people, I know who I think don't know about this store.
Last week I purchased 5 products cleaning liquid, charged for 6. I noticed the overcharging & I received a refund.
Today I was going to purchase 5 items, priced 99c, got to till, came up as 1.49 each, queried this, staff member said that the item "was not priced" & that both the 99c tags under the product related to other products. !!
So I returned them.
But they still managed to scan 2 bags of flour in 3 times!!!! Grrrrr.
So when in Letterkenny branch check your receipt.
Overcharging has happened me too often in this store to be human error.
Yet again Mr Price in Ashbourne tried to overcharge me when I got to the till. Buyer beware when you are shopping at this Ashbourne branch. When I asked to see the Manager I was told he was on his break and that he is entitled to his break by a rude young lad who wouldn't know customer service if it bit him on the back side ! This has been going on for years where they have one price on the shelf and then try to charge you a higher price at the till
This shop should be thoroughly investigated by the authorities and prosecuted. Very annoyed customer.
This was by far the most embarrassing moment i had in Mr Price Gateway, cut long story short one door divided into two doors no clear sign as to which is in or out, I walked in looking for few Golfers for work. Security comes to me asks me to walk back and walk in the right way, as the entrance is the same door...but not on the left, enter on the right, I tried to smile and apologize security was not friendly at all, in fact he was talking to me looking the other way as if customer doesn't matter it was very disrespectful and not good customer service people in your door should represent your brand be friendly, we have had times were we do something incorrect or wrong in an outlet and they normally very friendly when correcting you and explain why it is so, security should not come to your face like you just robbed the store, and be blatantly rude because there was a miss understanding and i did not see why I have to walk back and enter again that just rude
Love my local Mr.Price! Great for stationery/art for my kids and snacks! Staff are so helpful😀
Spent 14 euro on helium balloons in their portlaoise store. They were for my granddaughter who had just passed her driving test. She was delighted when I brough them down to her that evening. However we were disgusted next morning to find them on her bedroom floor having deflated. I went back to Mr price to speak to a manager but there wasn't one in store. I was told by a young staff member that the balloons only last 8 hours. We have been buying helium balloons for years and have never heard the likes of this. I was asked to leave my number and a manager would contact me but this didn't happen which shows the company have no regard whatsoever for their customers. You should have a sign where the balloons are saying they only last up to 8 hours as this is really robbing people of hard earned cash
Love my local mr price store in Naas, great value and great service!
Love the shops and so so handy you can buy online now as well! The best for face masks also lately and all the goodies too.
Met the rudest shop assistant ever in Mr price in Ferrybank, Waterford today. I asked if my 6 year old daughter could use the bathroom as she was bursting and the toilet was blocked in barbers next door where my son was getting his hair cut
. Her words were "no not allowed" and immediately turned her back. There is not another unit open in the retail park my daughter had to pee beside a hedge with me hiding her as best I could.. I know there are rules but surely there can be allowances made it was just rude and cruel to young child.
Loved shopping here on my trip to Dublin... Lots of gifts and sweets and prices are great! Stocked up on toiletries here as well. Staff are nice and friendly!
Having picked up items off the shelf at a price , only to find that the price is more expensive when I went to pay, said to the staff member that they are suppose to sell the item for the marked price only to be told that the price on the computer is the correct price, needless to say I told them they can keep it . This has happened a few times in the same store
Bought items online, delivery came missing four things. Customer service number is never answered and voicemail is always full so no luck there. Emailed and was told it would be fixed and it was not at all. Now I’m being ignored. Left a comment on social media(Instagram) explaining the issue and to ask for someone to help and the comment was deleted. It was a good opportunity for them to simply resolve their mistake and instead they just ignored me. Such a shame as they have great products but the customer service online is dreadful. I’m at a loss now, luckily not a large amount of money but will put me off ordering again as I had issues with a previous online order(which to be fair was corrected) but as a result I feel it was not a one off unlucky incident. I will be letting my friends and family know not to use online as a result of this as there appears to be no comeback when you are left short items. The fact it happened to me I am sure it has happened to other customers so it is a case of buyer beware.
