This website using mugen power name to con many people. We denounce their dishonest behavior as a shame in the market.

I am currently using a high capacity battery from Mugen Power in my New Nintendo 3DS XL, and it does exactly as advertised. It tripled my battery life and it has allowed me to not worry about running out in long gaming sessions. I am very satisfied with the product, so it gets a five star review. Unfortunately, the company itself is no longer in business, which will make getting these batteries almost impossible now for people that want them. The company itself had not shipped my product when the expected ship date came, and I had posted multiple tickets on the company's website, with no success. Then I decided to do a bit of research last month, and lo and behold, the page is now a washed down Amazon vendor page, which confirmed what I thought. The company had officially gone out of business.

Here are two theories as to their shutdown:
1) The company could not keep up with the demand for their products, as making the battery cells does take quite a while from what I surmise on the rated capacities of the batteries.
2) There is actually another company with the same brand name that deals in auto parts and batteries, and it is quite possible that company filed a brand lawsuit against the Chinese company.

I think the former theory is the most correct because there comes a point and time where the resources are hard to come by, and I am guessing the supplier for the company may have also gone out of business or was bought out.

Whatever the case, the fact I had to search elsewhere (bought on Amazon, though I'm not sure how much stock is left in the marketplace), it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but again the product is top-notch. For the company: one star; product: five star. The ratings meet in the middle for three stars. Hope we can maybe see you guys come back with a better track record, and maybe under a different name.

It's a scam.
You buy a product pay for it and they never send it to you. You lose your money. This company is a damn hoax. I am going to report them to the police.

After waiting two months , they said the battery for Nintendo 3DS XL was going to be delayed by manufacturing problems. I'm still waiting. no longer respond to emails . $ 80 away !

9 months 4 tickets. refund request ignored.

Took the money. Said delivery would be delayed. Months now gone. No replies. Website offers no contact help. Emails and support tickets ignored. This is not a seriouse company. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Terrible experience. The company doesn't answer the emails and is not going to ship anymore. They don't honor the refunds. Don't buy from this company.

This company appears to have gone out of business and has a limited web site hawking their products (probably remaining inventory). I ordered in Sept and it is now Feb. Nothing except repeated delays and when I asked for a refund all communication has stopped. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

Ordered a battery in December 2015 from Mugen.co. The shipping date was indicating 18-Dec but kept moving forward. When I finally tried creating a support ticket it was not answered, despite patience and follow-up. Now today I see that the mugen.co site is down.

I would be very cautious about ordering any new Mugen products. New mugen sites may get created in future but I doubt that they can be trusted to deliver.
Another site with "mugen" in the domain name is still in existence. from the look of it is selling a reduced inventory... perhaps what stock is left. I can see that the Paypal logo at that site is a local image and does not pull it from the Paypal site as I think it should (This is probably a big red flag which I will be looking for when shopping from sites in future).
Most likely trying to purchase from there you will find the payment processor is not Paypal (it was Skrill from mugen.co).
Another red flag is sellers with a mass of 1* and 5* Trustpilot ratings. the 5* ratings are likely suspect.in such a case.

Pity

I ordered a battery for my note4 on October 10, 2015 and as of today have not received it. I have emailed many times and get no response.

This company is absolutely horrible. Ordered a3DS XL battery in early August and still haven't received the product. 7 months later. I would get responses back in broken English stating a delay and the product will be sent soon. Now they don't even respond to my emails. I'm filling a complaint with my credit union. Horrible horrible company.

I ordered a battery extender for my new 3ds xl on November 28th and they said it would ship on December 18th, and I've sent over 10 emails to them asking why my order hasn't shipped yet, and I only got a reply from the first email I sent. I would recommend to not buy anything from this company. It's February 2nd and it still hasn't shipped.

I opened a support ticket back in December trying to get word on what was going on with the delays with my N3ds battery order. After a month of no reply, I opened another ticket last week asking for a refund and cancellation of my order, which also has yet to even have anyone assigned to it, according to the ticket.

Do I need to call to get any kind of service?

EDIT: Tried calling the number they have on their Contact Page. It doesn't even work. I get an automated message from my carrier saying my call cannot be completed.

EDIT2: It is 1/30/2016 and I'm finally done with Mugen Power. Escalated a claim with Paypal who finally pryed my damn refund out of them. Mugen: 1 Star. PayPal: 5 Stars.

I placed orders in August and October 2014 and have not recieved the goods,they wont refund or answer my emails and have no phone contact.They continue to advertise the same items for sale on their website so be warned you may wait a long time or never recieve your goods.
I am in the process of lodging a complaint with the authority's in Hong Kong.
My advice is to buy elsewhere.

Next week, I ask again they say more 2 weeks
It almost seems like they don't want the business.
and no the support even do not answer my letters and I sent 5 letters already with no answer.

After ordering an extended battery case for my phone that was listed as "in stock" the company could not give me a shipping date. Two weeks after I had ordered and paid for the case the company still could not give a date as to when the case would ship. They just kept saying they had an issue with the post office that they needed to resolve before they could ship the case. I ended up cancelling the order. Very bad way to do business. If you order anything from this company be prepared for a long time before you receive it.

a couple of years ago, i bought a Mugen battery for my 3DS XL. It worked and fit fantastically. They ship out of Hong Kong and i live in the US (New York) and received the battery after a few weeks. very fast turn around and no issues.

this year, i ordered a battery back in May 2015 for my new 3DS XL and was hoping for the same experience, since i was very happy with the extra power and heft to the device. (i have large hands and the 3DS models have always felt small before i got the larger battery). there was a shipping issue and the battery was returned back to Mugen, and i was informed i would have to wait til the battery is returned and then they can ship out a new one. i contact them in June and find out that they can't ship me a replacement until sometime in the July/August time frame. after a few more emails i was informed that they would ship me the battery with their August Shipments. I try emailing them again In August to see if they've sent me the battery (this is now 3 months after i put the original order.) no response, i give them a week to respond, still nothing, after 2 more messages and 2 more weeks of no responses i had to open a dispute on Paypal in September as i realized i was not getting my battery, hopefully i would get my money back. they immediately sent me a receipt saying they would refund me, but no actual dialogue. They also tried to charge me a fee, again no dialogue. i questioned the fee in Paypal, and again no response, but i did receive my full refund.

I really like the products they sell, but after this experience i do not know if i would ever order from them ever again. If i didn't have the experience with them 2 years ago and if i didn't get a full refund, i would have given them a 1 star review. honestly, i rather have the product i ordered. Very Disappointed at the moment.

Ordered a battery for the LG G3 begining of July expected delivery 31st July no problem with that, on the 26th I checked my order and it was refunded without any explanation contacted them twice via customer support no answer yet and the refund does not show on my paypal account.

Best customer service I've seen in a long time.

My original Z3 power case died after 6 months, contacted Mugen, got a return authorization , got my shipping cost cost refunded, and got my replacement , all in about one month.

Great product, price was a bit high, but you get what you pay for.
