Gone down hill

Used to a great service, but the forced playing of 'similar tracks' makes it unusable. Considering cancelling prime subscription rather than be forced to listen to music that amazon wants me to hear rather than the music I want to hear. Pure greed on the part of Amazon

Amazon on a cash grab

As if they need to be on a cash grab with the music app yet that's what their doing its ridiculous change the features back to a point we can listen to the music we actually want to listen to believe it or not that's not asking for much, how stupid can they be really!

Amazon, money money money

Amazon - you have to be taking the mick with your new update where you can’t skip a track anymore than 6 times. Poor. It’s clear you want people to upgrade and at an absurd price after buying prime. Amazon you’re mad, do you not already make enough money and yet you want to make subscribers pay more. Take take take, 100s of billions per year, you would think a company like Amazon would give subscribers a break. Oh forgot you also put up prime, top job……..

Utterly useless

Utterly useless. The way it chooses 'similar artists' is clearly done by someone tone deaf! I'm so upset, as I only recently bought an echo dot which is now useless. I spend my time screaming at it because of some horrible song or other chosen by Amazon. Disgusting.

More money for Amazon!

Like many, I have used the basic Amazon music package, spent hours putting playlists together, some free music but plenty of bought music also, and now I can't listen to what I want to listen to, unless I pay another £8.99 a month? Jog on Amazon.

Crazy thing

Crazy thing, link it to Alexa plays a few song stops, gets an error. Time and time again
Amazon music used to be good now it's totally pathectic as a streaming service.
Really doesn't work
Upsets my disabled son, and I am x rated view point, over 3 months of total failure

Amazon music??

Amazon music??? Always happens. Company reels you in with bargains then when you can least afford it changes things and stings you financially. Now if you want to play your playlist you have to pay extra for music unlimited?!? Hope Mr Besos can sleep at night in one of his many mansions. While we worry about our bills I am sure the great man is sleeping peacefully. Shame on him!!!!!

I have been a prime customer for 5+years…

I have been a prime customer for years especially liking the prime music option. However prime have increased the subscription and dramatically reduced access. Absolute joke. Now cannot skip songs, it add's inappropriate songs into my playlists and plays on shuffle. This service which is part of a subscription is now so much worst than Spotify's free service. It is just pure greed from the Amazon giants.

Amazon Prime Musuc/Kindle updatess

I am a Prime member. Used to listen to free music, now I can't I can only listen to what Amazon wants to play me.
I can subscribe to Unlimited for £9 a month but seriously, with bills the way they are and trying to live on my pension, impossible.

Also, I have a Kindle Paperwhite, paid extra for no ads, used to read it a lot but since the new installation it is impossible to find my books in my lovely sorted collections. Why??? All I see now are ads for books.
Stop it Amazon. Think about your loyal existing customers and not just your profit margins.

Why is Amazon not a scammer

I ordered a laptop for next day delivery. Towards end of the day I was told the item is delayed and if I do not receive the item by end of tomorrow I can apply for a refund the next day. As I cannot wait, I cancelled the order for a refund and was told I will have to wait till the item is returned to process a refund. I contacted the customer service and asked them how Amazon. a justify asking me to wait for the return of an item which was never delivered and which was still with them - effectively holding my £2299.99 for 10 days and if the ropes were revered they would call me a fraudster or a scammer. They checked and confirmed the item was still with them but they had to tell me what they were told by their manager. On insisting that I was put to the manager, he comes on to the line and when I asked what was the logic in asking me to wait up to 10 business days for a refund when they accepted the item was still with them he disconnected the line.
What a scam. Holding the money for items they didn’t deliver and accepted was still with them.

Prime Music Inertia Selling

I subscribed to Prime Music for one device at £3.99. They increased it to £4.99. OK went along with that. Then last month they increased it to £8.99, upgrading it to the full package. They sent an email confirming what they had done, which I missed, until I saw my card statement today.But really! What a cheek! The upshot is I have cancelled altogether and will rely on Spotify.

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO DECENT CONDUCT !

Mine is the same old story that everyone here has probably read a thousand times! I paid for prime video in one go for the year and I stay clear of the "extras" but recently I started using amazon music and thought is wasn't too bad, but then I noticed my bank statement saying they took £8.99 for the premium service. I didn't subscribe to it, I didn't give any permission and wasn't in any way shape or form informed that they took money from me ! I would never of known if it wasn't for my bank statement ! They said they would refund me but its just not good enough, it is daylight robbery that only needs to rely on people's busy lives for it to go unnoticed !

Amazon no longer sells music through…

Amazon no longer sells music through their music app, nor presently throughAmazon shopping nor can you downloaded what you have previously bought for use through anything other than Amazon Music player. I've been asking them to resolve either issue for over 2 weeks and all I get is "its been referred to the technical department" I did ask for a transcript of the call so I could escalate the complaint but that request was ignored. Awful customer service from Amazon on this!

DISGUSTING CUSTOMER NO SERVICE!

I had a problem (and still do) deleting my song history. I was in the phone for half an hour with a woman who clearly had no clue. She referred me to the technical dept. That was 2 MONTHS AGO!!!! I have sent several emails and she just replies with “they will get back to you very soon”! I’m disgusted and will be cancelling my Amazon music.

Don’t believe them

I am an Amazon prime member they charge me extra to get a 1 day delivery slot to guarantee a delivery say dispatch then when waited in all day never arrives and then Say never even dispatched so lied to me for 2 whole days and then I have to log a complaint and wait 7 days for an answer and refund and don’t have item for an important family event:. Buyers be warned don’t believe timescales and don’t pay extra as they cannot guarantee delivery and then blame 3rd party sellers bad service Amazon and still waiting for your response

Digital Music Nightmares

I buy a lot of digital music from Amazon. In the last 2 months. almost every purchase has had an album which will not download.I try on a laptop,desktop and phone. Always, I clear my cache and even disconnect security for a little while. It makes no difference what I do. Customer services have a pathetic and disinterested attitude towards this.In order to obtain a refund, on some occasions, I have had to resort to demanding one under the Distance Selling Regulations, for goods not fit for purpose! My custom will be directed elsewhere. Not that it will make any difference to Amazon!

Give you a free trial but you pay for it

Give you a free trial . Then you can’t cancel it so monies collected . When you complain they said they will refund you back but you get nothing. Better off not signing up to free period as it costs in the long run
