The watch itself is a fine example of a Black „Sub“ Mod, excellent quality!

It took over a month to arrive with the „Xmas Extras“ of a delux 3 slot watch roll ( also surprisingly good quality) appearing 3 weeks before the watch.

Tracking was impossible to follow so, I had to have faith that it would eventually show up!

That’s the only reason I marked it down, the watch and extras are FANTASTIC but, because of the tracking system, I spent a few weeks feeling like I’d been scammed!

Easy to customize the watches, excellent follow through and communication with the customer.

Avoid this company – poor quality and worse service

What should have been a great purchase turned into a complete disappointment. I ordered on 4 January 2026 and the watch arrived on 24 January 2026. The company knew I was out of the country.

When I inspected the watch, the quality was unacceptable. The bezel does not function correctly and the watch loses around 30 minutes per day, making it useless as a timepiece. This is not a minor issue — it’s a fundamental failure.

I provided video evidence. The company’s response was to offer a 10% refund, which I refused. I requested a repair, replacement, or full refund — all reasonable options. They declined and have since stopped responding to my emails entirely.

On top of this, the free gift was missing, the adjustment kit did not match the listing, the box arrived damaged due to poor packaging, and the watch roll is very poor quality and started falling apart immediately.

I deliberately avoided cheap clone watches and expected a properly built product. Instead, I received something worse than budget alternatives you can buy for far less. The only reason I’m not out of pocket is because I paid by credit card and will be pursuing a chargeback.

Do not use this company. Poor product, misleading listing, and zero accountability once they have your money.

I ordered the watch on black friday. I received countless emails after I reached out assuring me that my watch was close to being delivered and on the cusp of clearing customs. That day never came. I was informed on the 3rd of Feb after waiting over two months that the watch was sent back to them. They have asked that I remove the dispute so they could resend the watch. They sent AI generated polite responses that amounted to nothing with no offered compensation besides a discount on a future watch. No attempt was made to make this right and do right by the customer. Engage with this company at your own risk. There is a decent chance you will never receive anything but generic responses to your inquiries.

It was an excellent purchase, I love my new watch.

Overall the watch seems decent upon receiving. The customer service/communication aspect was very poor, including multiple “canned” standard responses that were repetitive, which demonstrated lack of interest reading into the situation before “trying to help.” The “gift items” for the promo still haven’t arrived yet, though that really isn’t a focal point, or why I made the purchase. Also, over a month in shipping, seems excessive. I would consider buying from them again, but most likely as a gift that someone wasn’t expecting, that way when it took a long time, they wouldn’t realize it

This is my fourth watch from this company. They are great watches, reasonably priced and excellent quality. You can't go wrong with a Seiko that has been modified to look like an expensive Swiss watch!!

Do not buy from these assholes proper scammers terrible quality and the ai generated response from customer support is frustrating stay away from this company

Watch is very good. Shipping took a long time.

The quality of a watch is excellent. The watch looks good and working fine as expected. The automatic movement doesn't last more than 12-15 hours if the watch is not on wrist or moving. I guess it is how the base of Seiko is made and Watch Mod may not have control over. I will definately buy a different kind in future. Overall, excellent product, very friendly customer service.

Watches are amazing. Only complaint is delivery takes about 4 weeks.

Beautiful watch. I love it. It looks great the way it came and with the extra band I got. Makes the watch look completely different and I love it.

I wish I checked Trust Pilot before I ordered. The reviews here are quite polarised and I wouldn't have risked it.

My experience is as follows:

1. The watch loses time quickly if not worn daily.
2. The watch crown is hit and miss for adjusting the date.
3. Instructions on adjusting the strap are inadequate. They provide tools and a pdf but videos are required because it's more complicated than a few lines and a picture can describe.
4. Shipping took longer than advertised (9 weeks instead of 3-4).

This watch is gorgeous! I'm not easily impressed and I tend to be skeptical... I was hesitant to purchase because there are so many mods out that just aren't very good... especially when they're priced this reasonably. The one problem I have is now that I've found this site I'm probably going to end up ordering about five more watches in the next couple of weeks and I'm going to need to purchase another watch case LoL

I purchased a Seiko GMT MASTER; from day 1 it did not work. By that I mean it would start and within a very short time it would stop. I contacted the company requesting a replacement, that's when the run around began. There were numerous back and forth emails where they requested I try various ‘fixes’, take photos and videos. Nothing worked. Finally, I realized they just wanted to wear me down so I'd go away. My last communication was when they asked me for yet again a photo and video. I said no. So, I bought a defective watch and am out of luck...and patience. Their Warranty return policy is their license to steal. BUYER BEWARE.
Oh, and have you noticed HOUSE OF DREAMS and HOUSE OF MODS have closed shop. Makes you wonder.…

I don't know how else to respond to this company other than to edit my review. Their reply falls on deaf ears as the script is almost identical to every time I complied with their request(s) for information just to have them ask me to try something else.

Nothing worked and they still wanted another photo and another video. For anyone who gets a perfect item from this company consider yourself lucky, BUT if there is the slightest glitch, you are SOL.

EPILOGUE:
I finally took the watch to a local Jeweler who sent it out to their repair service. The result was that the balance shaft needs to be replaced and the rotor needs to be repaired. Cost -- $350.00
If WATCH MOD reads this latest information I would expect them to stop playing games and replace the watch without further ado.

Very disappointing experience.

Before placing the order, communication was smooth and full of promises. Once the watch arrived with clear quality issues, everything changed. Responses became slow, and real solutions were replaced with excuses.

I did not ask for a discount or a partial refund. I simply want the product I originally ordered, in proper condition. Instead, I was offered money back and a future discount, which feels like an attempt to close the case rather than actually fix the problem.

When something goes wrong, this company leaves you on your own. The service after payment does not match the nice words beforehand.

Unfortunately, my trust is completely gone. I would not recommend this company if you expect accountability and proper after-sales support.

It could have been 1star but I can fault how good it looks. Other than that…. I finally got my own designed watch after month wait. I didn’t mind that. I knew how long it would take.

The issue I have is that nothing works apart from second hand. The strap will not shut properly. Looks too large. And then trying to change the time. That doesn’t work either.

I will be taking it to a watch specialist to see if they can fix it.

Just really disappointed saying how much I have paid
