Booking was carried out in a fast and efficient manner. Our report was thorough and very useful. It was easy to book due to your booking system being linked to Trade Me - it made for a hassle free experience.

Was very easy to book online. Communication was great even communicating with the car yard to advise them of the inspection prior to me calling. Report is awesome and easy to read.

I wanted to take a moment to write a huge "Thank-you" for all the times My Auto Shop has demonstrated it's willingness to do things the "right way", and in a manner that keeps the consideration of the customer in mind. My Auto Shop has done a number of repairs on my 1993 Ford Econo Camper van Mecahnic called ST from My Auto Shop diagnosed the issues quickly, and repaired the Campervan in 2 hours everytime. This, frankly, is a high level of service that I have seen ST performed time after time. However, he went a step further in the past encountering a wiring issue that was causing the van to die after re-ignition. His diagnostics was spot on and fixed all within an hour. He explained every step taken to me. This week he sorted my back brakes on the van quickly. It is a pleasure to do business when you feel as though the people you are conducting business are looking out for your vehicle and your best interest. Well Done Auto Shop. You are the best.

I wanted to buy a vehicle but It was 500km away from me ,they made the whole process nice and easy .The report was very detailed and helpful. It was good to have that piece of mind before buying the vehicle too ,thankyou guys for your service 😀

My mechanic turned up on time, carried out the job however it only took around 40mins for the job to be completed when i was charged 1.5hrs labour as on the quotation? No mention of this or refund of time not spent working on the car.
I was refunded the amount not worked, however do i need to follow this up for future jobs or do I assume that a refund would ne arranged automatically?

It’s rare that I give 5 stars, but I believe they are warranted. Every part of the process of booking was simple and quick, I actually couldn’t believe how easy it was to book a mechanic. On the day my van was booked in, we had a severe weather warning and I was alerted by the company that if the situation was dangerous, the mechanic would come on the first available date after this.. (if I had a garage/covered space to work in, the mechanic would have come no problems) The weather was grim, really windy and wet and I felt it would not take place that day, but just before the agreed time, I get a call saying the mechanic is on his way!! San was the mechanic and he was absolutely fantastic! Efficient, knowledgeable, thorough and willing to work under a gazebo which he tied down with water barrels so it wouldn’t blow away!! He did the job cleanly, quickly and within the estimated time frame. He gave me relevant tips on how to counteract any problems related to the issue (he replaced an alternator in a big Nisan Elgrande on a driveway in a blustery and wet day) as he was concerned about my battery (I was having this replaced later so he wanted to make sure it would last without failing if possible until then) I cannot, and I mean this sincerely, find any fault at all with any part of the process from booking to fix …. I will use this service again and will recommend it heartily to others

This is purely a review of the booking experience, not the work done.
I have rated it 2 stars as this was not an easy or smooth experience. To begin with the date chosen was fully booked, rather than saying so, it 'booked' for this date but defaulted on their system to the day before, when they were not actually working. This is over the xmas period so there is no one to contact before they open on Monday, the day it is booked for. They returned an email on the Monday to say it wasn't going to be happening today and explain about the overbooking. They offered to rebook on the next day. At this point the person who owned the car had rung them directly to find out what was happening and rebook a time. I asked Autoshop to email me a confirmation of this time. It was not the same as what the owner had told me they had asked for. It appears they did actually turn up at the time the owner had asked to be booked for, so that was good, however this was an unknown until they turned up. All in all, booking was a shambles, but it did happen.
