Tries to rip off women and rude staff

Tries to rip off women and rude staff. Girlies, Do not trust these guys!!! They said I needed 4 new tyres, I told them over the phone I would get a second opinion but asked if they were road worthy. They said they were. When I went to pick up the car the manager had a go at me and said that I need 4 new tyres, that they were not road worthy, and he shouldn’t be letting me go because if I get pulled over by police or get into an accident then he is liable (and he has kids to raise). When I told him that his colleague said over the phone that they tyres were in fact road worthy, he accused me of lying and that he would find that “very hard to believe”, before showing me the assessment of the tyres (which he very well knew I wouldn’t understand because I am not a mechanic). I did not allow for him to speak to me this way, and asked “why would I lie?”. He then proceeded to complain about how some bosses had come into the store this particular day and criticised everything his store was doing, and started to complain about how he had only been there for 3 months yet he was getting critiqued for things that had happened 12 months ago, then he told me he had a very bad day. Bruh I am a customer you just shouted at I do not give a damn about your business! You just shouted at me in the store for something that wasn’t my fault. I took my car to a trusted tyre shop, and after taking one look at the tyres, they told me I did not need any new tyres yet. I have about 5000kms left in them (approx 6 months with the amount of driving I do). They are most definitely road worthy. I am sick and tired of men taking advantage of women in mechanics and trying to rip us off. We are not stupid. You will be caught and put on blast on the internet :) so girlies do not go here for your car needs!!! If you need tyres go to tyres and more in Fyshwick. They do not lie and slay very hard.

I had such a positive experience

I had such a positive experience using MyCar Braddon for the first time. As a young woman I have had negative experiences with mechanics in the past undertaking significant and expensive work on my car without my consent. MyCar Braddon was fantastic and stuck to the quote for the service and new tyres. Will use again!

Very good customer service

Very good customer service. Put new tyres on and the car was ready less than 3 hours as I had requested. Very pleased with the detail provided on the work done.

The Team went above and beyond the…

The Team went above and beyond the servicing and consultation of issues I had raised that other mechanics (not mycar) that I had raised and were ignored. All repairs were completely on the same day. I'll definitely be returning for servicing and tyres.

Simple easy friendly

The whole process froming ringing to book tyre replacement to dropping off my vehicle and picking it up was smooth on time and easy.

Amazing service!

They were closing at in an hour and they accommodated me with my flat tire. They are helpful when you need it most as well. Amazing guys!

$1,000 for nothing

I took my 2010 Audi Q5 for a logbook service, and to be checked as it was overheating. Since the day I booked the service I called MyCar Braddon to explain the situation of my car and I was dismissed with no further questions.

I took my car for the service and I tried to explain the situation, then again I was dismissed. Later that day I was called to let me know that all was done, all the servicing was done and to fix the heating issues they needed to flush all the coolant for $180 dollars, I agreed and they did it.

When I picked up the car, I asked again about the engine overheating, they said it was all fixed, the coolant has some debris and this would fix it. It was not, sure enough it overheated.

I called MyCar to tell them that the issue was not fixed, they charged me extra and the issue continued, they assured me there was no leaks and no problem but they would take the car again to look at it.

I took the car back and for the THIRD TIME I WAS DISMISSED when I tried to show them the video of the temperature and the engine, “if it overheats, it overheats, just leave us the keys.

I left the keys and the next day I received a call from them quoting me 8 thousand dollars to replace the motor as it was damaged from the heat.

I told them that it was absolutely ridiculous as I tried to explain since the beginning the issues with pictures and videos and I was completely ignored.

They said, “that’s what it is and we need you to pick up your car today or we will charge you a fee for storage”

To this day I am yet to receive the diagnostics I paid for when I booked the car, I asked the question and was again dismissed “the diagnostics is your invoice mate” when you can clearly see on their web page the full diagnostics the are meant to give you when the $800 service is done, nothing was given to me, still haven’t received nothing.

I took my car to another mechanic and sure enough he found the leak within 5 minutes of actually looking at the car, not just taking my money as MyCar Braddon did, no more than thieves.

I will never use MyCar ever again and I have told all the people I know about it.

They haven’t even put my flybuys points into my card, and when I asked about it, you guessed it, dismissed, ignored. “They will come, they are just points.

Without a doubt the worst car service I have ever used, $1,000 for nothing.
