Customer service is awesome at my local My Car

I’ve been taking my 4x4 to these guys now for the past two years and every time I’ve always had outstanding service, I trust the mechanical works completed and yesterday was no different.

The team rang me to confirm things, and ensured the car was ready when they said it would be.

I also love the way car drives straight after a service with these guys, very smooth, and straight. To me that means they use high quality oils and fluids, and their wheel alignment is on point.

I waited 7 hours, only for an oil change, it's a shame, you have to take a day off for an oil change. Very unpleasant staff. It's a shame!!

Good and friendly service. There would have been 5 stars if the mechanic had reset the 'oil life' read out which I had not checked until I was home. Will have to go back to get it reset.

I recently went in to get a tyre rotation and wheel alignment because my front tyres were going bald, even though I’ve only had them for a year. My intention was to get as much time as possible out of these tyres before replacing them. However, the shop told me my front tyres were too bald to rotate and recommended replacing them immediately.

I agreed with their assessment, but what I didn’t agree with was being charged $90 for a wheel alignment that was ultimately unnecessary. I’ll need to pay for another alignment when I replace these tyres, so it feels like I paid for something that serves no purpose in the current situation.

Additionally, I overheard a conversation where an employee told an older lady that they couldn’t honor a quote she received a couple of months ago because they’ve had two wage increases since then. Two wage increases in such a short time? That just doesn’t seem right and came off as a bit dodgy.

Overall, this experience left a bad impression, and I’d advise others to get a second opinion before committing to any services here.
