I asked them to fix my squealing brakes which are so loud when reversing, neighbours put their fingers in their ears. I was told that the brakes were good but dusty, and were being cleaned. The car was parked so that I drove straight out. The next time I reversed, the brakes squealed and have continued to.

Disgusting Behaviour and Dishonest Tactics to Rip Off Customers
On 4 September I brought my car to My Car Auto for a service I had booked online. Prior to arrival, I advised that my brake light was on and I required brake pads.
Upon handing in my keys, I was told, “we don’t do brake pads on European cars as the discs are so thin; if you want pads you’ll probably need to replace the discs—$600 for the front and about $500 for the rear.” I declined, saying I would have the discs machined elsewhere and source brake pads independently.
What followed was appalling:
• While collecting my vehicle, I was twice greeted by the sight of a mechanic’s exposed backside in the workshop—absolutely unprofessional and disgusting.
• At the desk, I was told I didn’t need rear pads because they had already been replaced by your business not long ago—completely contradicting the earlier claim that you don’t do brake pads on European cars.
Out of sheer frustration, I researched the claim regarding “thin European discs.” It is blatantly false. European rotors are not inherently thinner—they simply use softer brake materials. Your staff either lack knowledge or are deliberately misleading customers.
If I, an informed customer, was subjected to this misinformation, imagine how many vulnerable people—like my elderly mother—would be pressured into spending over $1,000 unnecessarily. This is blatant dishonesty and, in my view, highway robbery.
Continental AG - My Car Auto should be ashamed to allow such deceitful practices and appalling workshop standards to continue. I left your premises absolutely disgusted.
I expect an immediate response and accountability for this disgraceful conduct.

Easy check in. Job was done well. Communication was good so I knew what the problem was and when the car was ready to be picked up.

Booked online, knew I needed new tyres and a wheel alignment, dropped it off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon, professional customer service, it was easy throughout the entire process and then received text message to say car is ready for pick up

i asked the team to look at the airbag…
i asked the team to look at the airbag error and they said they would call after analysis. instead of this, i spent just over $600 on a service only to be told they didn't look at it and wouldn't because i need an autoelectrician for that. wasted my time and substantial amount of money
