Phoned the company to arrange a replacement spare key for my 2003 Mercedes. Told they could come next day at my convenience. Within 2hrs i was asked if the engineer could come in the next hour. Chris came and got straight on it. An hour later i had a new fob coded to my car , and an emergency door key cut. Chris explained what he had done. Excellent service, would recommend this company to anyone

EDIT: I've called 2 other mobile garages to check the car, both have confirmed that My Car Key Hero have blown up the BSI whilst trying to reprogram a new key. I now have to book my car to a dealership, wait months for a new BSI to be ordered and reprogrammed all for about £500... I will be taking legal actions as my car is now out of use for months, all that because of the incompetency of this company. Avoid avoid avoid.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Shocking service! I called them as I got my keys stolen and van broken into. Originally it seemed great and they put me in touch with a locksmith who arrived the same day and on time. He tried to open the van but couldn't for some reason, tried different techniques and eventually had to call a colleague, who was 1.5 hours away. It turns out his tools weren't working, and his colleague opened the car. By this time I had to leave because I it already took 2 hours to open. They said they would proceed to make a new key, and I had a call 2 hours later, saying they coulnd't figure out why but they didn't manage to programme a new key, blaming a problem with my car (I drove it the day before back to France and just took it for a full service, absolutely no problem with it!). At this point there was nothing I could do so said to just leave it. When I came back, the alarm of my car was going off, and I can only assume they left it like this. They locked the car behind them but didn't leave a key so I couldn't open it to turn off the alarm. It went on all night until I could get the AA to come, break into the car and turn off the alarm... when asked for a refund, I talked to a very patronising person who said 'what did you expect when you called us?'. They refunded me the price for the key cutting, but not the £120 for the call out fee. I now have a car with no battery, no key, and am £120 lighter. I will now take it to the dealership, and if it happens their work damaged the car computer I will be taking this to court. Definitely avoid!

I’d give a zero if I could absolute shambles of a company I was booked in after being asked to pay deposit of £70 to make the key then they cancelled me to the week later like I don’t have work to go to, on the morning I was booked in I called them for them to say will be another few days absolute joke not professional one bit DO NOT GO WITH THEM, let downs

Lost the keys for works vehicle called my car hero paid £480 for 2 keys to be cut, as the lock smith had to service his vehicle we agreed for the lock smith to attend site first thing the following morning as I had to take the vehicle to wales from Exeter.
11.30am no sight of him! I phone my car hero and they said they don’t know what was arranged but would check the recording of the phone call from the previous day( made me feel like I was lying!) they phoned the locksmith and told me he was on another job and would be with me when he was finished and gave me the locksmiths number. I called the locksmith and told him that he should have been on site first thing that morning and he said he was never told a time to attend. When he did turn up( 13.30pm) it took him an hour to cut the keys which it was too late to take the vehicle to wales.
Then the next day I had a call from a woman at my car hero saying she listened to the phone recording and I did request attendance first thing the next morning and she was sorry that it was miscommunication. They were quick enough to take my money, but their service is shocking!! Take note, do NOT book any thing through this company.

I am delighted with the service that I have received from My Car Key Hero . Nicky worked very hard renewing the cylinder lock in my ignition, a very professional job carried out by a competent technician. Phone answered within 10 seconds by Nadir. Nice guy made me feel at ease sorted me out immediately told me I'd be rung at five o'clock. At 5:00 Michael rang me to say he was on his way, it would be 15 minutes. 15 minutes later he was there. What a nice guy put me at my ease because I was so worried about my car keys being locked in the boot and not being able to get in. He did his bit of magic with the door lock and hey presto we were in and I got my car keys back. The whole process was painless, professional and above all friendly. Thank you my car key hero you are appropriately named.

Found Company to be 100% 5* in all respects.
Lad arrived at time specified, unlocked car within a couple of seconds, and waited to aid.
Full service brilliant without exaggeration.
We latter found electronic keys in doggy bags on kitchen work surface.
We were happy to pay for service in advance; as professional in all respects, including taking bank card details.
The few negative reviews didn’t match reality.

I asked for a locksmith as my keys had been locked in my car. I then called for this to be cancelled few minutes later as this service was no longer required from them. I was told the job was not refundable, not allowing me to partake of the opportunity to cancel as a customer as written in the contract. I was then told the locksmith was 2 minutes away and was in my area, the locksmith arrived 20 minutes later.
I was told a certain price and I was debited a different amount.
If I knew better I would go with a company that had better transparency in services and cost

Good explanation of what would happen. Everything happened on time. Charlie was great and my keys retrieved from my locked car in 5 minutes with no damage to car. Thrilled. 🎉

After locking both sets of keys in the boot!! I contacted my car hero. They answered up on a Sunday evening and were there within the hour. I know it's frustrating and money you don't want to spend but they were quick and did no damage to the car.

The service was first class. I got a call to say that he was outside so I took him my car key left him with the car and he phoned me back to say that he’d finished all sorted in about 20 minutes.

The man that came was very good although the wait was over 2 hrs I dailed a Nottingham number so was expecting a local form about from that was happy with the final outcome

I called this company out as my key for my Fiat 500 had disintegrated, although I could get into the car and drive it the fuel cap which is automatic was stuck. We called the firm and explained the issue. I was told the key would arrive on Saturday and arrived Sunday. When the guy left I asked if he checked the fuel cap he said yes. He blatantly lied. Totally untrustworthy.

Needed a key that actually opened my van and my car key hero came to my rescue,

They sent out a guy called Liam who was absolutely brilliant I couldn’t have wished for a better person to be sent out to me! Was very friendly and gave good advice when I asked! Made me two new keys that were reasonably priced and did it in quick fashion.

I was recommended by the RAC and to my surprise the quote and what I paid over the phone was exorbitant for not even a minute job. Just because they know you are stuck and locked out of your car they show no mercy to the unfortunate drivers. Because I had an appointment at the hospital, I had no choice but to use this service and paid £144.00 for 40 seconds of work. They should charge drivers on individual basis and not all cars are complicated.

I lost my only car key and the whole process was excellently managed from my initial phone call, to payment and invoice to the engineer coming and offering a swift but great service. Highly recommend
