Excellent service, product & price.

Great product at best available price. Sadly Hermes "lost" the item (my unfortunate choice to choose cheapest delivery option). It was just before Xmas and MyChefKnives rushed out another set (via DPD fortunately). Very impressed with level of communication.

Good Service, But Let Down by Poor Quality Control

Good range of equipment. The saw and blades I ordered were delivered quickly and were well packaged. Unfortunately, one of the items, a 'Pradel' meat saw had been badly finished by the manufacturer (sharp burrs left on the fabricated frame, capable of cutting the user). I did not expect to find dangerous defects such as these on an item from a well-known manufacturer. Fortunately, I was able to put right these defects myself, and without injury. But I was surprised and disappointed. Once in use, however, the saw has proven to be good at what it is designed for. I didn't alert the company to this problem as in the current climate, I didn't want the bother of having to return goods, etc.

Just what I wanted

I have had a Japanese ceramic knife for years given to me by my mother and stepfather. My husband used it to open a package wrapped in nylon packing tape and snap! So I had to get another. MyChefKnives was less expensive then anyone else, my new knife arrived quickly and I am using it with great enjoyment. It is exactly like the one that broke but came with a lovely knife sheath which makes it safer in the drawer.
