Bought eddi together with a zappi. Had trouble with install. Took a few visits. Installer said there was some bug with new eddi software. Have eddi and zappi on seperate pages on app. It was the only way installer said it would work for the moment, until a patch is released. Not overly happy, as the data on each page does not match eg the eddi and zappi will indicate different amounts of power coming from the grid, at the same time. Besides this glitch they seem to be working well.

I cannot fault the product itself, but you cannot separate it from the myenergi app by which you largely control its use. I have to say this is extremely painful. After 3 weeks installed a second Eddi (basically a phantom one) appeared in the app, and after clearing via the helpline has just reappeared for the second time. They cannot explain why and is now with technical team. The app also performs very sluggishly. It's not our broadband, which is good and fast. You can wait ages trying to persuade it to stop or start or program in boost times. It's a shame, as the myenergi kit (including a Zappi) does what it's supposed to.

Good product so far without any major faults. I suspect the newer version with wifi would solve the one area of problems i’ve had which is in terms of RF interference. With the eddi erratically losing reception with both the Harvey and my Zappi I have had regular problems of cars uncharged at 3 in the morning when going to work. I have a long train of emails with support. I’m very much open to my energi replacing my older model with a newer WIFI version to solve my comms problems.

It looks good and seems to be working, but I’m not certain yet as I only have it installed three weeks and the weather here in Itreland has been shocking. Will know better after we get some sunshine and have been using it for a while.

Upgraded from am iBoost+ No noise when it's heating up the water like the iBoost+ does. Works well together with Zappi. Really pleased with purchase.

App is quite laggy. Otherwise system works well. Using home assistant to configure more advanced conditions - such as boost at this time but only if battery charge level is above XX.

Works well, sometimes tricky with the radio signal if you have a large distance to cover, better to hard wire it in this case. Great quality and design!
