I cancelled within one hour

I cancelled within one hour
But they charge my credit card $11.99 I know I have to go to enormous link to try and recover this as when I asked for the trial it didn’t tell me it was going to take money from my credit card it was supposed to be a $1.99 fee

Refund services is bad

Refund services is bad. Advertising on locating lost phone is misleading. Not even sure it is worth subscribing. More sure feeling that it is better to avoid Famio totally. A bad experience. Run away.

Comments later added on 9th Jan. 2026 - Cancellation support came although a little late with damages of extra incidental costs arising from the cancellation of my bank credit card as I feared further delay of subscription cancellation would certainly incur further additional charges by Myfamio. It would be better if the cancellation process is made easier or automated .

It is a scam

It is a scam. Somehow I have a subscription I havent aksed for but cannot get hold of anyone to stop the payments they have taken. My friend downloaded the app to see what it was about and there was nowhere to get to an account to cancel. Reading online, it doesnt look good many have had the same issue, look it up. Have now had the hassle of going through bank fraud claim. If this doesntwork I will have to cancel the bank account. Great!
1 star isnt low enough stay away from this app!

Absolue scam

Absolue scam. One was said that they could find phone with just number. Lies-you have to have on both phones before leaving. My card has been charged 5 today over $80. Had to claim fraudulent behavior that my bank noticed and now have to go through replacing everything. Absolute worst!!!!

From Stress to Relief - Thank You Famio Support

I initially had a very frustrating experience with Famio regarding a subscription charge after cancellation. However, I want to sincerely appreciate their support team for how they handled the situation afterward.

After explaining my circumstances, the team reviewed my case carefully, communicated clearly, and eventually processed a full refund. Their support agents were patient, understanding, and professional, especially during a very difficult time for me.

This is a scam

This is a scam. I found it while trying to locate my work phone I had lost and was panicking bc my verification for find my phone was taking a long time and if my phone had been stolen I was hoping to find it while they were still near by. They advertise that they can locate by phone number, after you sign up and pay them you find out that’s not true and their “policy” is no refunds. Total scam.

You can not track by phone number and they just charge you and you don’t have any option to cancel . So I emailed them and asked them to cancel but still they took my money even after I cancelled my bank card .

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. I seen there ad on Facebook. They say one thing and when you try there trial period it's something completely different. I cancel my account on the same day and requested a refund, which I was told no refunds.

This is a scam

This is a scam. I used to find a missing friend as it says you just need their number but then you need app and the other person to agree….. he was lost, he’s not going to agree. So I thought I cancelled it and 3 days later for an app I hadn’t used I was charged over £20. I’ve emailed numerous times and no reply. They are totally scamming people. Do not use this app.

Total scam.

Total scam.. they ad says they can recover by just using a phone number and they lure you in, to then find out you need to download app on both phones and approve. My girlfriend had lost her phone so we tried this in desperation (paying) only to find out it was a lie

Used app for one call-and used one time…

Used app for one call-and used one time only. I did not ask for the monthly membership and know for a fact i declined it when it came up.
