Overall a great product
Overall I really like the university FanCards and the associated website. It would be an excellent experience if you had a phone number where you could text the word "balance" and it would send back to you the current account balance, or type in the word "last" and have the last transaction sent back to you.

Great Idea! We put our team to work on this immediately and already have it up and running!
Cardholders can now text "balance" to 205-236-8226 and receive their available balance. We will work on adding latest transactions and probably a few easter eggs as well. Let us know if you have any issues.

Its a great card to have. I don't like the fact that my monthly fees aren't waived. Some places waive the fees because you have direct deposit which I do. It happens twice a month. I also don't like the fact that I don't know if there are any atm machines that won't charge me a fee for withdrawals. I am getting hit for using the card both ways. Blaahh

Worked great for a while
Worked great for a while. Certain sites I was able to use it for online ordering etc, now it gets declined. Also, my direct deposit gets deposited onto my card and I'm still getting charged the monthly fee which I was told I wasn't. 😞 Really love having a bama card, but sucks the issues I'm having

Also, your Fancard should work for all online shopping and ordering. Please let us know at help@myfancard.com if there are specific websites where your Fancard does not work so we can help rectify that issue immediately.

I really like the card but when I get my direct deposit it's usually later in the day I know there are cards out there that offer a day early like on Thursdays but I love the fact that it's a gator card so I keep it

The first thing that I can comment on is that it contains no “chip”. Just swipe and go.
It is every bit convenient as a visa and master card.
