Thank you for taking the time to leave us a one-star review about something you witnessed involving one of our instructors.
It is worth pointing out that you haven’t actually used our service, spoken to our team or had any dealings with My Four Wheels as a customer. This therefore isn’t really a review of the service we provide, but rather a report about something you believe you witnessed on the road.
What you witnessed may simply have been a learner driver making a mistake. Learners, by their very nature, are still learning and will occasionally get things wrong. Equally, if one of our instructors has acted improperly, we absolutely want to know about it and will investigate.
As you’ve taken photographs of the vehicle, please post them to our Head Office so we can identify the instructor and establish exactly what happened. Our Head Office postal address can be found on our website.
Once we receive them, we’ll look into the matter and take any appropriate action.
We appreciate you bringing it to our attention, Ronald. Posting the photographs directly to us would perhaps have been a slightly more effective route in the first place, but we got there in the end.

Passed first time with my instructor Oxana Veremyeva, with only 3 minors. Really good instructor would recommend, gets you road and test ready very well and is very flexible with lessons around commitments :)

I’ve had a really great experience
I’ve had a really great experience learning to drive with my 4 wheels and I couldn’t recommend them enough!
A huge thank you especially to my wonderful instructor Kieran, who has been nothing less than amazing throughout my journey on learning to drive. He was always patient, supportive and explained everything clearly, which made me feel so much more confident behind the wheel.
I genuinely enjoyed every lesson and really appreciate all the time and effort Kieran put into helping me get to this point. The whole experience has been brilliant and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for driving lessons! 😀

Stacy Gay - Amazing Instructor!
I was absolutely terrified to start driving, but Stacy was amazing from day one. She always let me take things at my own pace and was so encouraging, patient and supportive throughout my lessons. She helped me build my confidence, face my nerves and pass my test in Crawley. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.

Lee Steel
Started with Lee midway through march and learnt off of him really quick leading me to my test today which I passed first time all thanks too Lee. Throughout these 5 months Lee was nothing but passionate and constructive towards making me a better driver. Ray Honey Driving Instructor
I passed my driving test first time with my instructor Ray Honey (in Hastings)
Before learning with Ray, I had some experience on the roads, but I was an extremely nervous driver. Ray took me under his wing and gave me so much confidence.
His teaching style was amazing — he was laid-back, patient and always explained everything in detail until I fully understood. Whenever I made a mistake, he helped me stay calm and focused while reassuring me that he was always there if I needed help. Afterwards, he would debrief the mistake with me and constructively explain how to avoid it in the future, always with lots of encouragement.
I genuinely couldn’t recommend Ray enough, no matter what your ability or experience is. He’s an amazing instructor, incredibly supportive, and also a really good laugh! I’m so grateful for everything he taught me and for helping me become a confident driver.

Adam Molyneux 10/10
Adam Molyneux has been my instructor for a few months now and after having a year off driving, I was driving independently around my area. He was informative without being strict, allowing me to correct my mistakes by myself and build confidence in my driving. He is also very down to earth and approachable which made driving very comfortable and not intimidating at all. After a few months, I've now passed my test with a few minors and am very happy

Unprofessional instructor lack of experience
I booked manual driving lessons with Anthony, who had less than a year of experience as an instructor. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
During lessons, I often felt that I was being spoken to in a disrespectful and discouraging way. Comments such as “that is appalling” while I was driving made me feel stressed rather than supported as a learner. I understand that an instructor needs to point out mistakes, but I believe this can be done constructively and professionally.
I also repeatedly explained that I preferred lessons of a maximum of two hours because I found longer lessons mentally exhausting and felt that I could learn more effectively within that time. Despite this, I felt pressured to book three-hour lessons, and there was disagreement when I maintained that I wanted two hours maximum.
What particularly disappointed me was receiving a message saying, “We’re not making any progress. How about you try automatic because you’re not good enough.” As a learner, I found this very discouraging and felt that I was being judged rather than properly supported.
I am paying for professional driving instruction, and I expect to be treated with patience, respect and encouragement, especially when I am still learning. Unfortunately, I did not feel that was the experience I received.

Poor quality of instructor
Im sure this doesn’t apply to every instructor - but we had a poor experience with an instructor, rather than the company itself.
My daughter started driving with one of My Four Wheels’ instructors in Salford in January. She was having 90 minute lessons every week. And come the end of June, my daughter hadn’t even started manoeuvres, and was still stalling the car on every lesson.
It was a silver lining that in June, the instructor suddenly said she couldn’t teach my daughter any more so I had to find a replacement instructor as we already booked her test due to the long waiting list. It’s only in retrospect that I’ve seen how much my daughter has come on since being with a new instructor. They were shocked that after 30+++ hours of driving, she hadn’t even begun learning the manoeuvres required for a test.
I’m not sure what quality assurance is completed on the instructors, or whether that’s the reason this instructor could no longer teach, but I felt like it was important to feedback.
It’s so expensive to learn to drive and I feel like we’ve wasted hundreds of pounds and many weeks with this four wheels driving.
