Hopeless

Hopeless. Almost impossible to speak to someone. Delivery drivers not following policies on delivery. Wouldn't recommend them, ever

Hermes.. the company who guarantee you won’t receive your parcels!

Hermes were supposed to deliver my package. I say suppose too, because they say they did. It was apparently left in a “secure location” . However not even a hint to where that location is. I was in all day, even asked my neighbours and they hadn’t had or seen anything. Now bear in mind I live on a farm, it’s not like the address is confusing. There’s only a few of us who live here so if it had gone to one of them they would have just dropped it over. But no, looked everywhere on the entire farm. Even went into the local village and surrounding area to see if anyone has received it by accident. Maybe This parcel that had apparently been delivered is invisible? Although I’m not even surprised. Any parcel that is delivered by Hermes never makes it to its destination. Have no issues with any other carriers just Hermes. How are they still in business? I do not know. Either way, they certainly did not knock on my door, or even enter the farm as I would have seen being right near the entrance. Maybe Hermes should have better recruitment checks or just hire people who know how to knock on a door. Sick of playing where’s the parcel whenever a company has the bright idea of using Hermes, the company who makes sure you will never receive your package!

Hermes keep saying that they have…

Hermes keep saying that they have "attempted delivery" It is a lie. I have CCTV and they haven't been anywhere near the delivery address. Why any supplier uses them is beyond me. Looking at the timings on Amazon, Hermes have a van that travels at over 800 miles an hour.

Hermes/Evri lol.
Always late in delivering parcels. Always running behind. This company never changes. I could say a lot about this company.
13 parcels lost in a cause of 2 months from January to March 2023 and never recovered.1 parcel 6ft tall by 4ft wide stollen and delivery driver sacked. Several parcels delivered but torn open. Several parcels delivered and not put in safe place and left out in the rain soaking wet and for everyone to see and steal. Several parcels delivered to wrong address. Same old same old. But sellers on ebay continue to use this company as they are cheap to use without considering the buyers not receiving their orders. Ebay sellers will never learn.
Many times I've had to have either refunds from sellers on ebay for non received items or the sellers have had to send out replacements using a different courier company.
Today I'm due two parcel deliveries from this company but now received notification that they are running behind yet again. Some things never change. This delay has caused me terrible inconvenience.
Says it all really.

An absolute disgrace

An absolute disgrace, returning my deliveries without any contact and lying to sellers about multiple delivery attempts. Obviously too difficult for them to use the diversion whilst our road is being repaired??! I have contacted customer services every morning for the last 3 mornings only to get the ridiculous automated service and bogus promises of a call back as nothing to date has transpired. I will now stop ordering from sellers who use Evri. What a joke!

Absolutely Shite.

Absolutely Shite.
I suffer with diabetes and this courier company has been told so so many times to leave my parcels in my safeplace as I sleep a lot due to my medication I'm on. There's even a note in hugh letters on my front door telling them to leave my parcels in my safe place. Today this idiot courier was banging the hell out of my front door and woke me up. The parcel he had was so small it would of fitted through my letter box. I mean how thick are these courier people. Why can't they just read the huge sign on my front door. It's also on my hermes/Evri account regarding where to leave my parcels. They are just plain ignorant. Sick of this shabby business. Do your job properly. It's not hard.....

Awful

My package arrived on time, no issues there but with 2 out of 4 items missing from it and no invoice inside. There was a small gap in the package like it had been opened and closed again. Contacted Disney and they said all 4 items had been scanned, packed and sent as one according to their records.

Changing the company name makes no difference still UK's number 1 worst courier service provider, the likes of QVC and Ideal World & ebay shouldn't be using them.
lost another parcel last week delivered to another address, company just not interested , Its cheap for a reason !

Couldnt deliver !! they never even tried

I had a message saying Hermes had tried to deliver a parcel but I wasn't in at 12 30. Which was a lie as I was sitting in the living room between 12 and 1 having my lunch. No one knocked or even came in to the front garden. I have had this with Hermes before on a Saturday delivery, very poor service.

Called myHermes for a lost package

Called myHermes for a lost package, employee promised everything will be settled.
Week later nothing was done.
Calling them again, waited 24 minutes for them to respond. They just hung up without responding.
Will pass the case to the lawyer.

Rubbish

Supposed to have delivered to me! I was in - no sign of Parcel. Annoying for the seller on Amazon I’m sure as now I am asking for a refund but more than that it is extremely annoying to not have the parcel delivered because I really wanted what I ordered. I would not recommend this company in the slightest and looking at others clearly nobody else either.

I ordered an item via Amazon prime next…

I ordered an item via Amazon prime next day delivery. I knew that delivery was unlikely as the evening progressed and I then read the message..Item couldn't be delivered as address was incomplete( untrue) and due to external factors had been returned to sender. According to Amazon tracking it was never out for delivery! The next few days elapses so I contacted the seller who immediately issued a refund(5*) Imagine my surprise when I received further updates from Hermes, one to say that they had tried to deliver my parcel but my business was closed..what business? The next day they couldn't deliver because the item was damaged in transit. Two days later hey presto the parcel was delivered and handed directly to me, a bloody miracle when I was actually 250 miles away. In other words I haven't done my job properly so I will select any message from my list of electronic excuses while I either keep the package for myself, sell it on or dump it because I am tired and can't be bothered.

Item (H0067A0331670023) was due to be delivered 3 days ago, and every day I do recieve this email;"We're still delivering your Packlink parcel today but we've had to reschedule your delivery". Ebay using this company as it is cheap postage, and the company not able to handle all orders, with inexperienced drivers...

Hermes driver too lazy to deliver to…

Hermes driver too lazy to deliver to the door despite two large signs saying All deliveries to the front of the building left the parcel in the roadway at the rear of the property!! ( drivers photo)Needless to say it was stolen. Ebay nor Hermes want to know.......So I have just lost a lot of money Due to downright laziness of delivery driver. Hermes need closing down.

Totally useless.

Bought some cups from amazon.
The address was clearly a business address with a time slot of Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm.
Hermes said attempted delivery 12.15 Saturday morning.
Got in touch with hermes to bt latest delivery Monday 8pm.
Totally useless as they follow simple instructions.

Beyond poor, no stars

If I could have given no stars I would. This company is shocking, unreliable and I can't understand why Amazon continues to use it. Over the last 12 months delayed or lost goods has been a regular pattern. For example they took 9 days over the due delivery date to actually get plants delivered, which by the time they arrived were all dead! Most recently, failed to deliver next day dog food. After several contacts...an almost impossible feat via AI ..they then said they'd lost it. We reported it to Amazon, and the catalogue of lost etc goods and was told by the customer advisor...they'd had lots of complaints and shouldn't be using this company! There are far superior delivery companies out there to use, this isn't one of them.
