Bad product - terrible customer service.

Overall - terrible product info and terrible customer service. I bought a gel nail polish in Boots and I first checked the package to see the directions, which simply said 'apply on nails and cure with a Mylee lamp'. When I went to put the polish on at home, I scanned the QR code on the pack and, only at that point, did I see step-by-step instructions which included the use of a base and top coat. I obviously hadn't purchased either, as the box didn't state that extra products were required - and I wouldn't have bought the polish if I'd had to pay more for a kit. I tried the polish anyway and, unsurprisingly, it didn't work well. It still felt wet and looked terrible even after curing under an LED. It eventually dried down (after an hour or so) but quickly peeled off a day or so later. So, essentially, I've wasted money on a product that's not designed to be used alone - something that's not stated on either the box or the display. Other nail brands make it very clear if a product is a standalone or requires extra products to work. This is a total rip off. I wrote to customer services a week ago and got an automated reply, saying someone would get back to me. But I've heard nothing. Absolutely terrible customer service and a terrible buying experience.

I'm not normally the one to give a one…

I'm not normally the one to give a one star because of delivery issues, but I've never experienced anything like this.
Yodel has been "trying" to deliver my order for a week now, each time giving me the very last slot. By the time it gets to 9PM (when the driver finishes shift), my parcel is automatically marked as if I wasn't home. I've raised the issue with Mylee themselves, asking them to intervene with Yodel, only to get a basic reply and nothing else - so the customer service is completely lacking. AVOID

I bought my granddaughter a birthday…

I bought my granddaughter a birthday present of a nail dryer in January 2024 unfortunately it stopped working this October. Contacted Mylee who arranged to have it picked up and exchanged for a new one Beatrice who arranged all this kept me informed at all times, the new one has just arrived to my granddaughter and she is pleased. Congratulations Mylee and Beatrice on superb service

I ordered two kits for my daughter

I ordered two kits for my daughter. They didn't update any tracking information and I emailed and checked when it would be dispatched as id ordered for a gift. I then had an email to say would be delivered within the next hour that date. By the time I got home the parcel was missing. It had been left on my step in broad daylight. I messaged yodel who said sorry it was left on the step, they could see i hadnt set any delivery preferences so shouldnt have been left, that id need to contact mylee. I then contacted mylee with screenshot of the tracking, the conversation with yodel ( them stating parcel missing) and mylee basically fobbed me off. I wasnt offerer a replacement or a refund. I have a whatsapp message from them stating "all parcels can be left in a step" unless i update the settings on yodel. Im really sorry but isn't it blatantly obvious no parcels should be left on steps? Shouldn't I be updating them IF there's a safe place not them assuming it's OK to leave parcels on my step? Isn't it mylees responsibility to ensure the items delivered to me? I feel like they didnt want to rectify this so i then just asked for a refund. Im a week later and mylee havent refunded me. I really am not holding up much hope and will probably have to go to the bank/klarna to ensure im not charged. Consumer Rights Act? They have no idea at this company. Its a huge massive AVOID from me.

Loyalty Points Bias Resolved

Following my review Eve from Mylee customer service reached out. She admitted there was actually incorrect information relayed to me beforehand regarding the point conversion. She apologised through no fault of her own, and was very honest and sincere in her comms to me. She provided me a goodwill discount to use based on the problems I had. Sadly no fix for the points yet, however happy to change my review rating based on Eve's attentiveness. Thank you!

Reached out to ask if they can apply points from previous orders to the new loyalty scheme and got denied? Think it's a relatively minor task to do manually. I had quite a few past orders that would've accumulated to the voucher. Feels very unfair that I should miss out based on their greed, as it would take time to build those points.

Unsure if I'd keep purchasing based on this treatment as they don't seem to honour loyalty really.

I wanted to get a salon nail look at home. But I’m very disappointed that these nail varnishes do not do what they say is achievable. I have spent a lot of money and they are a waste of time. They peel off easily and haven’t lasted a day. Very disappointing as I’ve spent a lot on money on these products for nothing

i had a problem with a order the delivery driver left my package outside in rain. i contacted Neren at mylee and she couldn’t have been more helpful. She sent out a new order to replace the order i got. And sent with express delivery. Thank you Neren.

Lovely products, amazing customer service

I don't normally leave feedback, but I've got to say, I've only ever been pleased with their products, and I have been so impressed with their customer service which is why I wanted to leave this review.

I have been purchasing Mylee products for almost two years now. I use their nail extensions, builder gels, top coats and gel polishes. The nail extensions (when pressed properly and dried for an appropriate time under UV or LED light) have stayed on for over four weeks. I particularly love their top coats which are quick to dry and glide on easily. I get compliments on a lot of their shades and always recommend Mylee to friends. Their cat eye polishes are a game changer.

I recently had an issue with my delivery which was not Mylee's fault. They were quick to respond to my issue and to escalate this to Yodel. Yodel promptly corrected this the following day and the issue was resolved with no fuss and the Mylee team were very understanding.

Beatrice from the Mylee team was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional in getting the issue sorted for me. I cannot thank you enough Beatrice. Amazing customer service team.

If you are looking for good quality products and reliable customer service, I strongly recommend Mylee! ❤️

gel nail stickers

These gel nail stickers are exceptional! They lasted a full 5 weeks for me without lifting, and I only removed them because of nail growth. Removal was easy with zero damage to my nail bed. Truly salon-quality results at home!

Fantastic customer service…

I ordered a number of nail varnishes and sets and one of the box sets the colour was incorrect, and not the colour that should have been in there.
I sent a WhatsApp to Mylee and received an immediate response from Sam.
After taking a couple of pictures of what I received and the in correct colour, I was informed that the correct colour would be dispatched within 2 working days.
I didn’t have to send the incorrect colour back, and as promised received the correct nail colour within a few days.
I was very impressed with the customer service, and was kept up to date constantly. I cannot fault the service I received and as always the nail varnishes are beautiful!

I recently bought the 5 in 1 builder…

I recently bought the 5 in 1 builder gel, the product is absolutely useless. I tried it without a base or top coat at first as per the instructions, they all completely peeled off within a day. I then tried with a base coat, 3 layers of the builder and also a top coat, they still all peeled off within days. Don't waste your money.

Impressed so far

After initially purchasing the Main Kit on Amazon, I ordered a few more gel polishes from Mylee. One of them arrived a much brighter colour than anticipated (my error for not picking up on the word 'neon' in the description!), so I contacted customer services.

I was only asking for assistance with choosing a different colour but Beatrice was fantastic. She sent me out a different colour and because the one I most wanted was out of stock, she told me not to return the original. I'm now planning to see about overlaying some colours to see if I can achieve the colour I'm after.

Very impressed so far!

Won't stay on very long

I have not been able to get the nails to stay on. I followed the instructions to the letter and didn't give up after first couple of failures but they still pop off. I decided to try the 5 in 1 builder gel instead on my natural nails but that peels off. I did get in touch with Mylee who only said to make sure the preparation was followed which I did. Looks like I will be going back to nail glue which I previously used but would have preferred something gentler on natural nails

Will never buy another Mylee product

I've spent a lot of money on Mylee products and when my lamp started to over heat and burn the skin of two people I thought they would be able to assist me, apparently not. I was told to speak to a dermatologist as that was definitely an allergy ( I find it hard to believe since it was more than one person). It took 9 days, 3 emails, WhatsApp message one FB message and FB comment for a response. I have asked to speak with manager and it's been 2 days with no reply. Having researched apparently over heating is a common fault so I'm assuming they just don't want the bother or cost of replacing the lamp but they have lost any future sales from myself.

Reply - I replied over a week ago... So you're not waiting on additional information, I'm waiting yet again for a reply

Brought the mylee candy girl from a…

Brought the mylee candy girl from a local store and how I regret it. Instructions say cures in 60-120 minutes. It took around 6/7 coats to build up a solid colour and drying time was ridiculous. In total I spent just over 2 hours doing my hands and feet as I'd already done one hand before realising and had no way to remove so had to continue... drying time was around 25 minutes for one hand. The colour is also quite neon and it's definitely not salon quality. I'm now 10 pounds down and have to still buy the mylee remover so I can get it off. Do not recommend unless you have 2 hours to waste

Super friendly and fast service

I order some nail wraps and they were sent with a particular delivery service, even thought I repeatedly requested a through the services website delivery to a preferred location they didn't and returned my parcel. I contacted Mylee regarding this and explained the situation and Beatrice who responded could not have been more helpful. The service was fast and delivered the next day, so service was super fast. Will definitely buy from them again.
