The device stopped working after about 1 or 2 uses. It didn't help anyway. I had gotten a subscription for gel pads, since it's cheaper than buying them separately.
I tried to cancel my subscription MULTIPLE times, but they kept charging me & THEN sending me emails back giving me all kinds of options, "but if I ever decide I want to cancel, let them know." I ALREADY DID! They refused to do it! There was no way to cancel on the website, only through email. This last time, I was finally a little firm with them & they wrote back that I can only return my device for 120 days (not even what I asked to do), so I can either pay off the rest of my device (which I fully paid when I bought it), or keep my subscription until it's fully paid. Which would I like? I wrote them back, "Neither! My device is fully paid off & I want my subscription stopped!" I really deserve at least a partial refund since that piece of junk stopped working almost immediately, but THIS is the bullcrap they give me instead!?! I'll be praying for these people who think this is ok.

My Livia is simply a lifesaver. As someone with heavy periods following IVF treatments and severe cramps, there is nothing I recommend more than this device. It will become your best friend, rest assured. Their service is also fast and excellent. They are available to answer questions in detail and are so nice and professional. Definitely my best decision.

NO WAY!!!
I have suffered with excruciating cramps since I was about 15/16 years old, having to miss out on activities, work etc was super depressing! There was no way I would've imagined such a tiny device could work so well and now at 30 years old I'm finally pain free and it feels AMAZING! THANK YOU LIVIA!!

She likes it and it works good. Package arrives sooner than you would expect. Will definitely be buying more of it. Adi does a good job of helping you with issues and questions. Just be careful with the addresses when ordering.

I bought an extra flower pad 60 days ago alongside a full Livia kit, paid for both but unfortunately they sand me only the Livia without the extra flower pad i ordered. Now they don't want to sand me the flower pad but still they took my money.
I'm trying to get their customers service but they are ignoring me probably intentionally because they don't want to sand me the flower pad after I paid for it.

I would like to thank Adi for responding and taking care of me with dedication.
Now I can finally use My Livia, I am happy :)

You will think you are getting the device half off as part of a sale and just subscribing for a one time $8 subscription when in reality you can't cancel the subscription unless you pay off the rest of original price of the device through the $8 monthly subscriptions, pay off the rest of the original price of the device in a lump sum, or return the device back to them within four months.
If you want to keep the device:
It is either you keep paying the monthly subscriptions or you buy out the device by paying what they say you owe them- the original price of the device minus the "discounted" price you paid and the monthly subscriptions you have paid so far.
If you want to return the device: You have to return it within the first four months after purchasing it, then they will refund you the amount you originally paid on the device itself but they will not refund you for the $8 subscriptions that you couldn't unsubscribe from while you had the device.
Also, even if you are paying for the subscription they won't send you the gel pads that come as part of the subscription unless you reach out and request they send them to you.
My experience:
When I was buying it, I thought I was paying $29, a discounted rate and then also paying for ONE $8 monthly subscription. I thought the subscription could be canceled even if you only wanted the device, but you can't cancel it unless you
1) send the device back within 4 months,
2) buyout the device for what they calculate you owe them that they deducted from the normal price of the device (from where you payed the supposed "discount" amount)
3) pay the $8 subscription fee until the subscriptions you have paid for plus the "discounted" price you paid matches the original price of the device (even if you thought you were just paying $29 or $39 originally for the device as well as a one time subscription as a discount promo)
No where when I was buying it did I see it tell me this before I hit purchase, though they say the website says you have to make monthly payments. Either the website needs to be more clear or it is "fine print" which we might miss which is still misleading, or it didn't say it anywhere. I don't know.
Update:
I emailed Rosemarie on the Livia email for a buyout link three days ago so I could stop paying these subscriptions and she has not set it to me yet. Last she responded she said she needed to forward my email to management to get their approval and I haven't heard back in three days.

I’ve suffered endometriosis for 23 years and got to the point where I had to take pain meds. I got my Livia and it has made my cramps bearable- and sometimes- completely disappear. Although sometimes I have to take a Midol, I’m so grateful I don’t have to take pain meds anymore! Highly recommend!!!

I bought two for my daughters cause they were $100 off so I bought two making it $58 then I had the option to add a subscription for pads and what not well my daughters don’t use that often so they had pads. So I wanted to cancel subscription, been trying to cancel for 4 months but this lady Rosemarie keeps telling me I don’t own the devices so I can’t cancel we’ll guess what I do own them cause there was no fine print saying that I had to keep the subscription when it was optional in the beginning!! I had to cancel my card and they are still trying to charge me!!

I have submitted a cancellation for over a week, and there is a customer service representative named Rosemarie who refuses to process it because I said that I would want to pursue a refund. She is actually playing games and will not process it, I've cancelled over a year ago and they refuse to stop taking the $8 out of my account. I'm shocked at horrible this company is?!

terrible , still waiting for package, can't get hold of them, emails bounce back, would not use!

While the device is fine the subscription is weird. You pay the monthly subscription but don’t automatically receive the pads, you have to actively request them. This was not made clear at purchase and is quite inconvenient- the reason I like subscription based stuff is because I don’t have to remember to order. They claim they do it this way because people might move and then not receive the gel pads. I’m past the date where I can return the product and cancel the subscription so I guess I’m stuck paying each month for stuff that they won’t send me and I may or may not remember to request. Overall, not worth the hassle to me and will be canceling as soon as my required year is up.

The product is great and the customer service has always been fantastic.

really scummy company, profiting off of people with period’s pain. if the product works for you and you don’t have to return it it’s probably fine, more expensive than they make it seem because you’re paying a subscription for nothing, but fine. If it doesn’t and you want to return it there’s multiple hoops to jump through, you have to pay to ship it, and you don’t get refunded on the “subscription”. not worth it.

No way to cancel subscription. Customer support doesn't help as their instructions are not accurate. The instructions over email are inaccurate for canceling the subscription. I have screenshots if helpful.

I bought this as a gift, however didn't realise the subscription that came with the package i'd unwittingly bought was on automatic renewal. I thought it was a one time purchase, apparently not, they continue to charge me a fee every 6 months. And when I tried to cancel this "service" there is no direct way to achieve this through your account, instead you must contact customer service to make the option available to you. This however didn't work for me the first time I attempted to cancel back in April, it wasn't until October I realised they had charged me again! And they assure me that my account is cancelled, but didn't mention the money they've taken? Absolutely awful company, would never recommend to anyone! Good luck to whoever purchases from them in the future, you'll need it.
EDIT: 15/10/24
They emailed me yesterday afternoon to inform me that I wont receive any refund and that it was my fault they didn't listen to my first request to cancel in April. I replied that I was disappointed and upset and I'd be leaving reviews reflecting my feelings and experience. However this morning they emailed to let me know they've actually decided to refund me October's charge. Bear in mind this charge is for gel pads for the device, I've never recieved any gel pads, ever. This doesn't change my opinion of this company, if I could give them no stars I would.

So wonderful.
I have always had difficult painful cycles. From the first use, this has been wonderful & I have recommended to anyone who will listen.

Great for usual period and pain.
Great for general periods with pain. The batteries will last a day as long as it is low and not on all the time. I have 2 so I can swap during the day when batteries run out. I also have 8 days + of period every month and have found the sticky pads last 2 days when on all day. They don't survive being put on and taken off multiple times.

this device gives me so much relief. I have such bad cramps the only thing I can do is just curl up in a ball. this literally stops those cramps for me. I put this on, wait and in a little bit my cramps are either gone or significantly better. i was skeptical and only bought it because it was on sale, otherwise I couldn't afford it. I waited months before making this review to make sure it really works and im confident that it does. so worth it. I've also seen reviews mention that they can't get the 6 month supply replacement gel pads with the subscription but I had no trouble with doing that and just recieved my first 6 month supply restock for free with the subscription. Definitely recommended this product!
