DO NOT USE THESE CON ARTISTS
DO NOT USE THESE CON ARTISTS - THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU AND DO A SHODDY JOB THAT WILL COST EXTRA TO RECTIFY.

I wish I saw these reviews earlier
I wish I saw these reviews earlier. Called to fix the hinges of my balcony door that needed just a re-alignment. It took the guy 10 mins to adjust them and charged me £400 for it. Just a scam
Rubbish scam artists
Rubbish scam artists - quote you a low quote and then extort a massively overpriced charge - locks that you can buy for £35 they sell you as being £230. Labour charge an hour at - £100. One lock they were to replace with something more secure, they took out, it back in with a plate over it and charged £225 for the “new lock”. Don’t go near this firm. They sign up traffic meant for the more reputable londonlocksmiths.co.Uk by adding the “my” on the front of their name.
These guys are pure scam artists
These guys are pure scam artists. The guy who came was very nice and charming and we were totally fooled by how nice he was. Charged us £249 for an ERA lock which costs £35. We were in a desperate situation and this company totally took advantage. Never ever use them again!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Unless you don't care about being scammed. On saturday my key snapped into my Yale lock. I managed to get the broken part out of the lock but then called them. Oh I wish i had read the reviews before... He could basically have picked the lock but instead it drilled the lock out and changed it. It shouldn't have costed more than £120 or even £150... especially for a Yale lock that wasn't faulty as he said. He charged me £477,6 and my agency obviously won't pay for it. So that's gonna end in dispute and trying to get the money back from my bank.
Buyer beware, complete scam and rip off
I contacted them via their website as I needed a professional locksmith to look at our increasingly stiff lock. I explained to their online operative that the key and lock worked but that it had become increasingly challenging to fit the key in both the top and bottom lock and that we were concerned this would get more difficult and wanted someone to come out and look at the problem and advise on what was wrong and if/how it could be fixed. They explained there would be a call out charge, I was fine with that as it was less than £50 and I simply wanted someone to assess the locks.
The locksmith explained to me that the whole unit needed replacing and asked if I wanted it done while he was there, I asked how much and he said it would be £385 excluding VAT plus a cost of £89 for his call out and labor (excluding VAT). I explained that I was speaking to ERA (the manufacturer) and they had given me a very different indication. They said it was likely a cylinder (lock is less than 5 years old) that needed replacing and should be less than £100 including VAT for parts. They directed me to screw fix for a reasonable retail cost indication. When I asked him to put it back he said he could but it wouldn’t work at all now because he had removed it to assess it, so we were left with no choice but to agree to a new lock. When my husband asked why he removed it in the first place he said he had to remove it to see what the fault was. At no point did he tell us that by doing that the lock would become completely unusable, it was usable before he came and all I wanted was the lock assessed and someone to explain what was wrong and suggest some fixes, not put us in a position where we had no choice but to agree to a full replacement. He tried to take the original lock with him but thankfully ERA advised me to keep it, so I refused to let it go.
I have since had a second locksmith out (I was much more cautious and really checked the credentials of them and their company) and they have confirmed that it was simply in need of a cylinder replacement which would cost £120 including VAT and fitting. Suffice to say I got them to do the second lock at that price, which is working well now and I am happy to recommend them to anyone else in need in the future.
When I called to complain I was directed to the customer services team and told that the web and telephone teams were appointment booking only. So I complained to the customer services team, they told me "We are a Company and we offer a warranty for the locks that we supply and install, therefore, we cannot only replace the cylinders, but we can also only replace the whole locks." This is contrary to their advertising. I sent them a screen shot of their own website, along with the retail costs of a full replacement to also query their charges on the 14/07/22, I have so far received no reply.
I have contacted the advertising standards agency and sent them to screen shot, website links and correspondence. I am now going to contact the trading standards agency and my bank. This scam ended up costing me over £500 for a £120 reasonable cost. I just want to ensure that no one else is conned by this awful company.

The companies trading name is actually Locks services London LTD but they use another locksmiths company name as theirs on their credit card slips and bank transfer payee, to scum customers and confuse them from chasing them up.

Also sending a link for their trustpilot page, ignore all the fake 5* reviews, and you'll see many similar complains like you've had.

Biggest con artists. Do not use!!! Your bill will be £300 plus for just a simple barrel change.
Professional crooks
Professional crooks. Try to fool customers with fabricated prices. They try to charge me £200.00 for a change of lock barrel in the door which cost about £90.00 Do not be fooled by their tactics. I would not recommend this company to no one.
They don't even deserve one star
They don't even deserve one star! Bunch of absolute cowboys, trading standards need to do something. Quoted £59 then turned up and claimed the cost of the lock would be £450, checked online and it was £40. Showed the repair man and said that was his price. Someone needs to stop these lot trading.
This company is an absolute scam
This company is an absolute scam. They quoted my girlfriend “from £59” over the phone. Then the locksmith turned up and gave some absolute sales pitch about our door being really special so it’s 189 + VAT. It took him 5 seconds to open the door. If you’re lucky enough to see this review before you call them out, then avoid them at all costs.
I too have been a victim of this scam
I too have been a victim of this scam. Their engineer quoted me £189 then he drilled the lock broken and when I offered him our spare cylinder he took a tool snapped and said - see this was very week. He left me having to pay £225 for the new lock and then added £59 labour £50 call out charge and VAT a total £615. I was alone at the time with my 2 year old son and had no choice but to pay. Can anyone advise how I report them?
Do not use
Do not use, quoted £59 then came and unnecessarily drilled a lock and charged £584 included £249 for a £30 lock. Have reported them.
This company is as fraudulent as they…
This company is as fraudulent as they come. In a moment of need, I was unlucky enough to stumble across their services and ask them to help as I was locked out if my home.
I was originally quoted £50 pounds on the phone, only to discover that the service would cost between £100-200.
When it came time to pay, I was then told that I had requested their services “outside of their normal hours” and they tacked on a discretionary fee totalling an additional £80.
DO NOT CALL THESE CONS. They are the worst of the worst. I have half a mind to raise this with the local council, because a business this fraudulent should not be operating in this area nor anywhere.
Hello,
Hello,
I just broke my key at 2:30pm on Saturday 23-4-2022 and called My LondonLockSmiths, they quoted me £49, but when a staff Dani came to tell me there was a Holiday Surcharge at 3pm on Saturday!
Finally opened the door for me, and charge me £471.6 (invoice no: 31235) with hidden cost and told me after the service! It is 10 times more expensive than the quotation!
I would like to make a complaint!!
Regards,
Sally
Awful experience
I work for a charity and asked for a QUOTE for a smartlock for our office. When the engineer arrived his job sheet said to INSTALL a smartlock. I said there must have been a misunderstanding but he insisted I would have to pay a cancellation fee. I contacted the office to ask for a refund and - predictably - have not heard back. That's £48 of charity money - donated by bereaved parents in memory of their children - which you have taken *slow clap*
Scammers, dont trust them
We called for opening a garage door on Thursday 10th March. Customer service on the phone confirmed the labor costs (£45) and lock price (from £69) and they gave us a slot for 5:30 the same day. After waiting half hour for the engineer, he charged us an extra £169 for emergency after working hour work. We questioned the price and the engineer insisted that we should pay the price and make a complaint as this is what the company told him. From the same day we tried to log our complaint with the company and unfortunately every time (Adrian Rosu) avoid giving a concrete answer. He started with the company charged you based on the service price to nobody forced you to pay. My last phone call with them was very disappointing as they simply said nobody forced you to pay the money while they kept us in the cold weather for more than 30 minutes and the engineer forced us to pay the money.
