Do not use these guys.. they charge me £619, wouldn’t tell me the price before felt pressured to pay the amount awful service do not use.

I recently called as I locked myself out. The door was not locked and the service was straightforward (30seconds). They overcharge even after publishing a price online. Also the first recommendation is to drill the lock. Fortunately I had a prior experience and I challenged the person and he grudgingly did as recommended. I followed up on phone and emails and provided them the details and they promised to get back but never did.

The biggest bunch of scammers that have ever been seen.

My friend was quoted £50 after she locked herself out of her house……£500 later she was back in with a new lock.

No doubt they will change their company name at some point and then continue their ridiculous scam.

If someone gave me the opportunity to use this company or have my testicles squashed in a vice, I would choose the second option.

One hopes that there is such a thing as karma in this world, and these cowboy scammers will get what is coming their way.

We were locked out today and called this company to get us in - what a mistake! We were told there was no way in but to drill through and replace the lock, which sounded strange but took the locksmith "professional" advice. Afterwards, handed a bill for £532 which is completely extortionate. I've called the company and the locksmith to ask why they couldn't find a non- destructive way and the locksmith told me on the phone it "would have taken too much time and no one has time to do that". So very upset feel we gave been completely swindled. I've emailed for further clarity on what lock was installed (which cost £135 just for the lock itself! Which were were not told before the lock was put in) and why he couldnt have tried any other way to pick the lock.

Very dodgy company and definitely would not recommend!

£494 to remove a lock and replace it with a new one, after locking myself out at 6.30pm on a weekday.

The engineer, Daniel, was a nice chap, and very polite, but aside from double charging (more of that in a bit), I was charged £99 for an Era barrel lock. They retail at £8-11, and are the cheapest locks available. Even the company’s website says prices start at £45 for locks, but given you can’t get a cheaper one than an Era, I don’t believe that is true.

By double charging, I mean you get charged £100 for them to turn up, £169 to drill your lock and then £49 to replace it, so essentially £310 + VAT to show up, before being charged 2 sets of labour.

If locked out, I highly recommend you secure a price on the phone first, being agreeing to their services.

STAY Away from this locksmiths. When I called initially I was told it would be £60 it's also what it states on
their website. When the technician arrived, he was so rude, arrogant and unprofessional on top of charging me £208 to just break the lock, he didn't even change the lock! He initially quoted me £308 to break/drill in and when I said that was too much, he said I will make it £208 for you instead, (which leads me to believe the prices were not set and he was just charging what ever he liked) He also said if I wanted the lock to be changed I will have to pay another £395 on top of the £208 bringing my total to £603, which is absolute rip off and a joke. As I was rushing to go to the hospital for a life changing surgery I didn't argue with him and paid the £208. I am out today from the hospital and called another locksmiths to fix my door and the guy couldn't believe his ears when I told him, how much I paid for, to just break/ drill this simple lock. I quote what the locksmiths said "he didn't even have to break in he could have used the card to open the door"!
I have been charged £208. This is an absolute disgrace that MYLONDONLOCKSMITHS takes advantage of desperate customers. Let's not forget the extremely rude and NONE existent customer service. I called a few times and no one to talk to that was competent enough or willing to listen to what I have to say. However, as soon I posted a Google negative review, someone reached out to me asking me to remove my negative comment but they haven't address my issue, which is refund my money. I only want to pay what is correct.

They don’t pick locks or open doors by other means they simply drill locks and then want to replace them at inflated prices. Don’t be fooled by £59 advertised cost. Don’t see how drilling a lock suddenly becomes £144. Not too happy when I said don’t bother to refit a new lock, I will fit my own replacement lock.

AVOID. SCAMMERS.

They tried to sell a new product (obtained by them) at a sky high price. I offered to order the part online where it seemed much cheaper but the person attending started making up excuses.

I had a small fault in my UPVC door mechanism which could be easily repaired but he was aiming to make me buy his own product. He was very cheeky and tried making the replacement cost sound like £4.99 but instead he was aiming to get £499 from me. Thankfully I clarified

Within 10 mins he finished his check and when I suggested that I will think and comeback he charged me a call-out fees of £59. Such a waste of time and money, only to receive a quote that doesnt make any sense.

These people must not be allowed to work in public as they are Fraudlent, cheaters and dishonest. They will deceive and charge you many many times more if you call them for any repair at your home.

Incorrectly diagnosed one lock as broken to try sell my technically naive wife an overpriced replacement. When i came to inspect found the Banham mechanism to be in perfect working order.
Then he declared the latch lock to be broken and cause of the issue. Again I inspected the lock and found a loose screw to be the culprit and repaired the lock myself.
Went back upstairs thinking all resolved and expected to be billed for just the call-out but instead find my wife has been intimidated into drastically overpaying for that and a repair the locksmith never even carried out. Taking up with the office was pointless. I hope they all stub their toes daily.

They are scammers. My tenant was locked in the flat because of a broken lock. They charged £706.80 to drill out old one and replace with a new lock that retails at less than £50 in most shops. £706.80!!!!! Extortionate!!!! It took them less than half an hour!!!!! When my tenant queried the price he was intimidated into paying. I tried to get a refund through their office but it was pointless. They obviously do this all the time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

AVOID this company. Total scammers! They charged my tenant £705 for a cheap crappy lock on our flat in Chiswick that cost no more than £35!! They didn't give him a quote prior to starting the work.
An independent locksmith said they had done a bad job having seen the photos!
I am reporting them to Trading Standards. If you've been scammed by them please do so too!

Whatever you do, camp outside your door, stay awake, go to a friend's overnight, wedge your door shut with a chair, tie the door with a string to a flower pot, do anything, but do not use these guys. Utter and complete rip-off and scam artists, in addition to a bodge job having mullered the door itself. The real problem is these guys change their name, set up shop again, and carry on as before fleecing anyone iun need. Shameful.

I wish I could give no stars. I was locked out and was quoted £50. I should have read some reviews first but I was desperate to get back in for a work meeting. The guy was very rude when he came and charged £530 in total. Should have been £560 but I made a fuss and he knocked a bit off the price. Now, 4 months later, the lock has broken and I am locked in my flat. When I called to get someone round they were not at all apologetic and have made me wait 1 hour in a potentially lethal situation. Criminals.

This company, also found as Lock Service London Ltd are absolute scammer, exploting emergency callout situations and misrepresenting prices. I was quoted £270 for lock replacement and was then presented with an invoice for £567, the technician was aggressive and I was forced to pay. My complaint to the company have been ignored completely. Buyer beware, don't use them

My Dutch boyfriend locked himself out the flat while I was at work and looked this site up saying they would come out for a call out fee of £50
He then tells my boyfriend it's impossible to 'slip the lock' and we need a new whole lock or he can't get in. I have slipped the lock in the past (with a locksmith who had a piece of cardboard).
This guy mumbled the additional cost to my boyfriend minus certain details that THEN were all added up on the receipt like so:
Open lock by drill £169
New lock 3 keys £97
Lock Change Labour £59
Call out fee £49
PLUS VAT
Coming to £403.92!!!
All of this scribbled after the fact - it is absolute daylight robbery. It's disgusting. This had all happened while I was at work and couldn't be reached - I can't believe my boyfriend paid (he is gutted but was obviously trapped into this.)
