BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST I PAYED £1.49 FOR 1 MANUAL AND THEY DIDN'T GET THAT RIGHT,
THAY HAVE TAKEN £24.90 OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT I GOT AN UNAUTHORISED OVERDRAFT THOUGH TO THIS COMPANY I HAVE SENT 2 EMAILS TO THEM THEY WILL NOT HORNER THE REFUND SUBSCRIPTION I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR.
THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST TO THE PUBLIC.
Update everyone managed to get my subscription money back after sending them 3 emails on the 3rd email they wasn't going to refund so I told them you leave me no choice to put a review on trust pilot no sooner I put the review up they emailed me back saying thay will refund me I told them I will edit my review as soon as I received my refund hence the reason am doing this.
I still think the company is doing wrong they need to clearly state about a monthly subscription fee on they're website and not a hidden subscription fee put at least I got my money back I have learned from this company not to trust again when buying on internet please guys do your research first.

I want to cancel my subscription but no joy to be had.

I tried to purchase a manual from My Manuals yesterday and duly paid the £1.49 and ticked the T's and C's box without checking (very silly)
Fortunately for me they sent the wrong manual and it was only when I tried to get the refund I discovered that I was also on a monthly subscription which I have now cancelled. I hate to think what would have happened had the manual been the correct one.
Despite the company's insistance that everything is 'clear and above board' and that there are numerous places on their website where the subscription angle is mentioned please be very careful before you use them for anything. I think this is very sharp practice and verging on fraud.

I bought a manual which I did download and was the right one. I thought no more about it until I decided it was time to look at my credit card statement instead of just filing it. It was a card I did not mean to use but somehow I must have clicked on it when it came to payment options. Anyway to my horror I discovered I had been charged £24.90 a month for 11 months up to August this year. When I read all these reviews I felt even more stupid and my heart sank. I contacted the bank who blocked further payments. I then decided to ring the company in Ireland. I spoke to a very polite man and I was polite to him. I explained I wanted my money back. He cancelled my "subscription" - the one I did not know I had - and offered to reimburse the August payment. I thanked him and rung off. I then sent a polite email saying that I thanked him for his help but I did not accept that one month's refund was sufficient and stated that I would PLEASE (still polite!!) like the whole 11 payments refunded. I was then refunded 5 payments which went straight into my credit card account and this was followed up by a polite email from them confirming that. After a few days I wrote again thanking them for the payment but saying I would accept their keeping one payment of £24.90 for the manual if they would refund the other 5 payments that had been taken from my account without my knowledge. I got an email back by return saying they had refunded all six outstanding payments. My credit card account was credited with that payment today.
So I can only recount what happened to me. I was perhaps lucky but I decided to be polite and not aggressive and it worked. I also learned my lesson about keeping a close eye on bank statements and checking out reviews of websites I have never used before.

This is an absolute rip off - do not deal with these people. Sites like this should not be allowed to trade. They confirm they have your manual and have to take payment and then inform you that they don't have the manual - you will then get sucked into a £24.99 monthly contract - if you do get caught - open your online account and demand subscription cancellation and state date of request and follow up with a dated email.

Beware, this is a scam. Don't buy anything off them.

Once you have purchased and paid for your manual you will be charged a monthly subscription of £ 24.90
This website is run by crooks.

Total con. Paid a small fee of £1.50 (approx) for a manual. When received, it was the wrong type and long out of date. I forgot about this until a few moments ago when I saw on my bank statement £24.90 had been taken randomly several times from my account by this company over a period of 6 mths. I fell victim to the scam described in other reviews whereby the initial payment is not a one-off but is a low introductory fee, which then is followed by monthly charges of £24.90. I don't understand why I didn't get charged each month. I have written to Mymanual.net cancelling the subscription. If it is not cancelled, I'll post a further bad review to warn others.
PS just had the response below to this review. Today is 2 March 2023...the review was written 10 Sept 2021. This company is rotten. Don't use it.

Wish I had seen this before ordering. I gave them the model of the washing machine and the one I received was not for my machine so completely useless! Then I was charged 2 payments of £24.90!! They have now finally cancelled my so called agreement.
This company reminds me of Dick Turpin

I cant believe I was taken in by this scam, they must be laughing all the way to the bank concur with previous posts 're 1.45 and few days later a further 24.90 they must have it all tied up legally as they are still trading and advertising how is it possible?

I wish I'd checked with trust pilot before I gave them my card details. It's a scam. I paid £1.49 for a specific manual. Nothing arrived so I asked for a refund. They sent a couple of emails asking me to confirm details of the product for which I needed a manual. In the meantime I was charged an extra £24.90. I called them and asked for my money back and an explanation for the extra payment. They explained that I hadn't bought a specific manual but subscribed to their 'service', £1.49 for the first 3 days and £24.90 a month thereafter. What a con! They wouldn't refund my money but said they would cancel my subscription. My bank will block any further payments. Lesson learned. Check with trust pilot.

SPAMSTERS, FRAUDSTERS & THIEVES
They will take £24.90 from your account without permission. I bought an e-copy of a car manual for a one-off payment and now they've stolen this money from my account THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS, SPAMSTERS AND FRAUDSTERS! Yep, don't go near this.
Their website said they had the manual for my dishwasher, so I paid the fee.
But they didn't have the manual at all.
After 3 days you will be charged the much higher fee for 'support'.

On checking my Barclaycard statements yesterday I discovered I had been charged £1.49 for a 3-day trial followed by a subscription charge of £24.90, chargeable every month for a 'Premium Service.'
I have never been in too details of what manual that referred to. They finished by saying they had cancelled my subscription - no mention of any refunds. I looked again at my credit card statement and saw that the entry I had seen had been remuch with this organisation, never mind ordered any kind of manual and I don't know how they got hold of my credit card details. I emailed them today demanding an explanation and the reply claimed I had purchased a manual following a three-day trial period charge of £1.49 - noved - no trace of any dealings. What bothers me is that they have somehow got hold of my credit details. What should I do?

I entered the details of the toaster manual I needed, they said yes we have it, I paid £1.49, only find out they didn’t, but they did send me a Chrome book manual, really helpful. I then realised I had been signed up for the monthly subscription (after checking them out on this site, should have earlier!). Total scam.

Major scam. You apply for a single item and you are automatically signed up for a £25 monthly subscription. At least the man on the phone promised to cancel my "subscription" and refund the £25 in 7 working days? We shall wait to see what happens?

Reply from Mymanuals
They sent me the wrong manual for a far older model that Is of no use. I messaged them and followed that up with a phone call, they confirmed that subscription would be cancelled and money not taken, despite this they have taken £24.99 first subscription and never refunded the £1.49 taken for the wrong manual. Totally scam. Fortunately I am a Lawyer by profession so in addition of pursuing this via my bank on a matter of principle I will take whatever legal action is necessary including the freezing of assets among other options until I get a full refund. If I have to pursue legal action any associated legal costs that result will also be sought, so it could be extremely costly for this unscrupulous company. I strongly advise you to avoid using this company.

Like others my late father fell victim to these scammers. He bought a manual for £1.49 and I don’t believe he realised he had signed up to a £24.90 automatic renewal monthly subscription!!! I only found out after his death that he had been paying this company £24.90 a month for a year for one manual and I think they sent him the wrong one. Please do not use this company. Beware!

Reply from Mymanuals
Bought a manual which never arrived. Since then they have charged just under £25 for a subscription that I NEVER took out. I have now paid nearly £75 for nothing! Total con artists. Will be following up with my bank and fraud investigators. As with other reviewers this seems to be common place for these scammers. Total con artists!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
