Like many reviews here, I have tried many, many meals. As a shift worker and (over the years - dieter) I have been through almost every option on the market. It's been many years but a busy life meant I was returning to easy meals. I was even left disappointed in private chef prepped meals (not to mention the price of those services).

I couldn't ignore the significant amount of 5 star reviews from MYMC, along with a few word of mouth recommendations, and they were right! I've never been so consistently impressed with the taste of the meals from any other service. MYMC has truly nailed it, and I'll be long term customer. If you've been considering trying, give them a go, you won't find a better alternative.

The presentation of the food could be better, food flavour is nice, delivery packaging is dodgy always opened.

I purchase several meals fortnightly and have always been great. Just recently a meal was off prior to its expiration date. I contacted My Muscle Chef in relation to this and was met with unreasonable requirements in order to have the issue resolved. Will make me question using this company again and explore many other options out there.

Edit-There is no invoice as they were purchased in store at Woolworths.

I have tried many meal plans, that are either not fulfilling or just plan boring. MYMC meals look small but are surprisingly filling, great tasting, (great sauces) cookies are good, easy to watch my macros, simple to achieve a calorie deficit, 20kg down. good work guys

Compared to a lot of other meals on the market, I’m super happy with the level of quality these meals provide. They’re delicious, they’re affordable, they’re reliable with delivery and they help me stay on track with my nutrition intake. Not to mention that I don’t have to do a single thing and I have all my lunches prepared for the week. Super happy and it works perfectly for me and my lifestyle. Love My Muscle Chef meals

Very poor customer service, my order was miss placed and the person I spoke to about it was very rude. Asked if I could speak to Someone else and they said someone would get a hold of me to sort it out and I never got a call. Very disappointing

Overall really good. They could change the pre-made packs occasionally but meals are great and good mix of portion sizes.

i am a first time user of Muscle Chef. I recently ordered from them last week on the 16th of Jan 2024 and i received my order this weekend and for argument sake, I live in QLD and its been extremely humid and hot these past few weeks and on opening the packed order, i noticed the lack of ice packs in there and the supplied pack inside had already defrosted and now two days on i have started feeling ill after consuming 2 meals since.

I'm not happy with the lack of adequate pack to accommodate a hot day when deliveries are left in high heat exposure.

The Meals are convenient, however I noticed that they tasted quite salty. I ordered from the low-cal options.
The recommended maximum sodium intake for adults in Australia is 2,000mg. Most of their low-cal meals have around 1,000mg each, some are even more than that and very few are less than that.
Unnecessarily high in sodium, which is unhealthy. I’m disappointed as they are apparently dietitian designed meals. I won’t be ordering again.

Terrible product quality control. I’ve had a few meals be completely off and no follow up to rectify the situation. Gave them a break and came back and still the same issue. Really oily and salty. Not sure if it’s even healthy which is the whole point?

My partner and i decided to try my muscle chef to save time on meal prepping, and to track our calories/protein intake. We have tried over 25 of the meals and we are in LOVE. Currently on a weekly subscription plan which is so easy to edit or skip. Compared to all the other ready made meals out there (we have tried heaps in the past), this is by far the best tasting and tastes fresh even though its frozen and with great value for money. Although the portions may seem small at first, you actually feel full and satisfied after and in a way will also control your portion size.
Also got my sister and her partner on it and have also loved and felt its the best tasting meals on the market.

Tried over 10 meals now, liked them all. Will order again when I'm back from holiday.

Packaging is great however 95% of the meals are spicy, so if you like spicy you’ll love mmc, but I’m very sensitive to spice so couldn’t eat most of the meals.

My partner and I have been ordering My Muscle Chef meals for two years. The quality in the past few months has declined rapidly, to the point of not even wanting to eat the meals we have in the fridge. Quite a few of the vacuum-sealed meals have started blowing up way before the expiry dates. They never respond to emails so we can't get a refund from these. This week our protein oats have changed to a pea protein powder instead of the protein granules, so it creates a grey sludge which is so horrible to eat. The only good thing they produce now are the cookies and oat slices. We're cancelling our subscription, the quality is just too bad now.

I do like these meals and are always cautious when heating them but the seal on containers is really tough and I received a very painful steam burn after heating for 3mins.
There should be better warnings as this is a health hazard.

I'm 22 meals in and quitting. Most meals taste bad. Weird flavours. Chewy gross meat. Soggy unfresh veggies. Food often looks like vomit. Mostly meat and carb options. They also feel undersized. MrMeals tastes much better. Service is good.

I have had 3 orders, 2 good. Last order which was delivered 11 days ago. Food has been terrible. Chicken was red after cooking, which led to me being sick. Packages near use by dates. Most of the meals where nothing like what I previously ordered, lack of vegetables and food tasting yuk. Complained to MC even though they gave me credit, I am wary of ordering again. Tonight had the vegetable lasagne, it was disgusting, look and tasted terrible.

This company continues to scam me order after order. After having issues with almost every single meal in past orders, I stopped using them.
Almost every meal contains no where near the macro content they advertise (mostly missing the protein), they load their meals up with carbs and sauce. After having a feeling the protein content was heavily overstated I began weighing the protein in the meals, and to no surprise it was not even a fraction of what they’d advertise, often with just a few bits of protein.

I recently noticed they had new “Large” meals so they maybe I’ll give this a go, once again upon opening the first one I noticed the same thing, weighed the protein in the meal, no where near what they advertise.
I’ve since opened several others meals all of which have the same issue.

I’ve sent them several emails requesting a refund for the underweight meals, they eventually respond with ridiculous questions, like asking if the weight on the scale includes the weight of the plate.

Stay away from this company, they are blatantly scamming their customers, they will claim an error in the kitchen however they’ve been doing this for years.
Contact me on my email if you would like evidence. I genuinely believe all the positive reviews here must be fake, no one with any shred of knowledge would accept or rate these meals.

I use to be a regular subscription muscle chef user but despite numerous requests, they have made zero attempts to change their plastic food containers over the years. Its a major product they use and they don’t care about the thousands of plastic containers that their users dump into landfill everyday. Other companies like leprivatechef.com are using biodegradable or dineamic.com using recyclable food containers. The food isn’t as good but still switched over and continue to use them because they at least are making ethical business decisions.

Essentially all of the protein packed treats taste really, really bad. I couldn’t finish a weeks worth of meals. Great marketing sucked me in; but the shakes still taste like any other horrible protein shake out there. The vegan MEALS were actually delicious - yet only a handful of meals mean they don’t reach the minimum spend for delivery.

PS. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR PH NO. (OR EMAIL) - no matter how many times I Unsub Im still receiving their spam. Horrible business etiquette.
