I have 3 children in MOS
I have 3 children in MOS. They joined January 2018 and the school has expanded and developed over that time. They are currently in years 6 and 7. (I have twins) The children enjoy their classes. Class sizes are small but have obviously grown since the pandemic. Previously there were sometimes 2 or 3 in some classes now there’s always around 15 which is fine and actually more fun for the kids. They were providing opportunities for adventure weekends in autumn and summer terms but that’s obviously stopped due to covid. The fees can be paid monthly and you can pay per subject rather than buying a block or core subjects which i prefer. The admin are open to ideas and new subjects which i like. They are a young team who seem to be forward thinking. A really good option for those home educating who want some structure during the day.

So Pleased We Chose MOS
It saddens me to see the 2 negative reviews from people who haven't actually enrolled their children in the school - I get their gripes - but it doesn't really provide an accurate reflection of all the great things this school has to offer. So, as a parent whose child has been at MOS for a year now, I thought I'd give my opinion.
My daughter was in Yr 10 when I removed her from the mainstream secondary she had been attending since Yr 7. Initially, she was very happy at that school but when she was in Yr 9 it was taken over by an academy and in the year since, she went from loving school to hating it and her mental health was suffering. She was exhausted with ridiculously long days plus hours of homework every day and so stressed because of the school's new punitive ethos that she wasn't eating or sleeping.
On the recommendation of a friend, we looked at MOS and they ticked all of our boxes. I enrolled my daughter and since then, we have moved internationally, mid-pandemic (!) and my daughter has not missed any education which is incredibly important at GCSE level. She is now in Yr 11 and doing so well. Her mental health recovered very quickly after joining MOS, she enjoys her lessons, likes all of her teachers and her grades have improved in every subject. Importantly, she has plenty of free time left after her classes and homework to enjoy other activities and maintain a healthy school/life balance. She loves school again and is really positive about her upcoming GCSE exams.
MOS, even during what have been very difficult times recently, has maintained good communication and both clubs and courses offered continue to develop and evolve. I couldn't be happier that I chose to send my daughter to MOS and although we no longer live in the UK, she likes the school so much that she may well decide to go on to complete her A levels with them rather than transferring into the local system.
If you are considering MOS for your child, I hope this gives you some reassurance as it comes from a family that has had a child enrolled in MOS for a year now and who is still there, as opposed to people who had admin issues at the start and went no further - please also consider the admin staff have been inundated with record numbers looking for online alternatives in these times of COVID.
Both my daughter and I couldn't be happier with our experience of MOS!

I cancelled within the 14 day cooling off period and was told a refund will be issued immediately. After chasing twice no refund has been given, I have now had to contact the bank to arrange a charge back. Very poor customer service.

MOS review 2020
My son started with MOS after two issues of bullying, at two separate state schools.
MOS have been very accommodating, friendly and helpful - certainly in welcoming my son on-board.
Teaching has generally been very good - a small no. of staff changes last summer, but nothing that had a great impact on my son's learning.
The admin staff have been very helpful as well throughout our journey!
Have a flexible monthly payment plan which helps. Oh and they do communicate on a regular basis, which is refreshing ...
My son has now 'graduated' from Yr12 and will be sad to leave, but is looking forward to his next challenges in Sixth Form (and then Uni!)
Overall, very happy :-)
My children are both using this online…
My children are both using this online school. I am generally impressed by the quality of teaching, and the availability of staff on the phone for queries and comments. They have a flexible payment system, unlike other internet schools that require annual commitment to a contract. My children are learning at an age-appropriate level, and given homework weekly for their subjects. The learning software platform is easy to navigate and the teachers can be contacted outside lesson times. This is a very good service if you are looking for a National Curriculum provider.
