Good product
Good product, very convenient and clever technology using smartphone camera. Blood sampling was OK and didn’t get any air in tube, but could see how could go wrong! Half price deal made it more affordable - better price point for an impulse purchase.

I am disappointed in this test
I am disappointed in this test. I read and followed the instructions exactly as given. I took a good blood sample. I waited the correct time but when I peeled the sticker back the three circles just had a feint colouring around the edges. However, weirdly the app gave me great results despite just only a couple of months ago being extremely high (8 total). I wrote to customer services and have had no reply. I only asked for a replacement or refund. I would be happy to try again in case it was a one off faulty kit. However, I have yet to hear back and cannot find a way of contacting pic doc by telephone.

Avoid if you want a quick test at home without using your phone and telling your life stroy
Bought a kit that I thought I could do a quick test at home, only to find out i need to use my phone tell my life story and then consent to them doing what they want with all my information, well that ain't happening, what a waste of £20

Instructions are terrible says code on…
Instructions are terrible says code on back of pack when its on the back of the delivery box The online instructions ask you for so many personnel questions before you can start the test even about your own parents (mine unfortunately died when I was a child so could not answer as did not know) then asked me to put blood droplets on something that i have never heard of then kept telling me to peel back the tape that I had already done then said take a photo which I did several times as kept saying image to blurry then sais sending out new kit what a waste of time

Apparently not enough blood, as a regular blood donor I’m aware what to do, peeled off the sicker all 3 dots white. Tried the test again by adding more blood. What a waste of £20

Useless app & kit cannot be used without it
Useless app. Does not work on latest model iPad or iPhone so could not do the test. Check the App Store. There are many similar reviews. If I had known it needed an app before purchasing it I would have checked this out. On iPhone can’t get past the Home Screen, on iPad the Sign-up page has a fault that can’t be over-ridden. This is basic stuff that should be tested. As I cannot load the app the kit is useless to me. Waste of money

Waste of money
Thought I would try the heart kit as I liked to know how healthy my heart was. I did the test and the results came back. Imagine my horror when the report said my heart age is 84 years old, nearly 16 years above my real age. and my cholosterol was really high.
I immediately went to my doctors to get a real test, and the doctors reults came back as excellent, all my cholersterol measurements were perfect.
So much for these DIY kits. I followed every instruction to the letter and its results caused me a lot of anxiety. What a waste of money !!

Absolutely rubbish had total cholesterol at 4.2 went to docs for blood tests and was actually 5.9 now on statins

We are obviously concerned about your comments: the performance of PocDoc Healthy Heart Check kit is a priority for us.
We are very confident in the accuracy of our medical device, as it has been through stringent clinical performance evaluation as part of our UK CA medical device registration. It is because of this accuracy performance, that the test is being adopted across multiple NHS organisations in the UK.
It is also important to note that cholesterol levels change over time, and even small differences can take a ‘green’ result, into a ‘red’ one. A great experience
From ordering to results the experience with PocDoc was effortless and seamless. Ordering was simple and delivery as described. The home testing kit is ridiculously easy to use.
