Purchased a gift card for my wife and the first time trying to use it, it became obvious there were no funds on it. Someone had accessed it already and spent all the money. Contacted support, received info on where and how the money was spent (clearly it was stolen) and when I complained, they washed their hands of the situation. They couldn't care less
$100 down the drain. Stay away from these gift cards

My prepaid visa card has $400 and got declined. I called customer services and was told that it had been blocked because myprepaidcenter does not like the Ts & Cs of the merchant. the merchant is an online perfume and beauty retailer. I was then told that my card could not be unblocked and that to get new physical card would take 45 days!!!!!! I need the physical card not the virtual one as you can't use the virtual card in any stores in the UK. How can you refuse to unblock the card and then say you need 45 days to send a replacement? I need to use this in the lead up to Xmas. I was on the call so long that my monthly limit from my mobile provider was reached due to the cost of calling the US from the UK and so I was cut off!!! so now what am I supposed to do?
How can you resolve this please! This is completely unacceptable
UPDATE ON 24 NOVEMBER: found the Toll free number, phoned through to be transferred to customer services. was on hold for 20 minutes then cut off!!! also tried the email address on the website, this bounced back. This company does NOT want to talk to customers. What are we supposed to do? how do I access MY money???

As part of a settlement I got less than $10 issued via a virtual card. I was then charged $1 a month until there were no funds left. Discovered this today when I finally had time to attempt to spend it (which isn't easy). Can't believe this is legal in California, enjoy that latte you charlatans.

Currently unable to use the card, and because I'm not in the US, can't contact customer support. Card is denying at every retailer. looks like everyone got the same problem! Never will get more cards from them!
cant add to apple wallet pay on any site
after they pulled feedback
still not working + no email from them
complete ignorance
3rd december - still no answer

TOOK ALL OF THE $ OFF OF MY CARD FOR FEES! These Gift Cards are NOT worth the money spent. We should not be charged fees, PERIOD.

Like everyone else, I have a prepaid virtual Mastercard that is useless. This was an option as gift card from work.
It is rejected every time I try to use it. And after googling it seems like only a few lucky users manage to have any success on a few selected stores.
No contact information for Norwegian users. I wonder how much money they keep due to people giving up and let the cards expire?
Update: i did find a contact form which i submitted, so we'll see how it goes from there.
Update2: got the email and it asked to add name and phone number, and a reference which I dont know means. Filled in what I what i could, so guess wait and see...

I am beyond frustrated and frankly, furious with this entire experience. I received a $250 Visa prepaid card, which I activated precisely as instructed, only to discover it is nothing more than a worthless piece.
Every single attempt to use it online results in an immediate, infuriating "PAYMENT DECLINED" error.
This is not an isolated incident—it happens ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS, including major retailers like Amazon and Apple, where these cards are supposed to be universally accepted.
Even worse, the specific website this card is supposed to work on, the one MENTIONED ON YOUR OWN MATERIALS, declines the payment just like everything else!
I am now sitting here with $250 of my money held hostage on a non-functional card. The accompanying card link offers ZERO INFORMATION—no transaction history, no explanation for the declines, just a dead-end page.
To top off this debacle, your customer care is NON-EXISTENT. I have wasted an inexcusable amount of time trying to reach a human being to resolve this critical issue.
I demand immediate, effective resolution. I need someone—a real person, to contact me nowand fix this or provide a functioning replacement card, as this product is fundamentally broken. This is a severe failure of service and a massive inconvenience.
*** UPDATE ****
I contacted the support team by phone, and they started an internal case since the original card was blocked. I provided the requested evidence, and they issued a new card, which is now working as expected. Although it still doesn't work on most websites, it was successful on apple.com after I added the card to Apple Wallet. So, try adding the card to Apple Wallet and select 'Apply' at checkout.

This site is probably a total scam. I've tried to use my card several times "at places that accept MC" and it is declined. "Maurice" sends messages about how sorry they are and that they need more info to resolve the issue. Trustpilot shows that "Maurice" sends the same reply to the 800+ others who have expressed the same issue. He sends a "no-reply" email, so you can't send any info and no email is recieved with instructions.

Can they come in contact with me so they can help me with my issue.

What a scam, worked once and now it’s useless as their customer service. Contacting my state AG office and Federal CSPB, to get some answers. Don’t waste your time with them , I am surprised they have not been taken down by our supposed regulators.

i got a $5 giftcard and it doesn't work so idk what to do with it because it declines everywhere

Can confirm these guys are scammers. Received a code to redeem a facebook settlement through their website. Of course it doesn't work.

Got a card as part of a settlement. Unable to use the card if the item or service purchased exceeds the paltry amount of the settlement. Yes, technically, I could, but what would I get? Nothing I'd want. It's not worth my time trying to redeem it so I guess they get to keep the settlement money.

I have a Mastercard reward debit card that was from a promotion for Quantum Fiber. The card says "funds never expire", but the card has an expiration date which is past. The myprepaidcenter.com website will not register the card and provides no recourse for an expired card. It appears that the money is simply not available to me. Perhaps that is the company's intention - make it too difficult to use the card's value.

Worst customer experience ever.
Impossible to activate. Constant loop of e-mails. Impossible to reach a person at their customer “service”.
Seriously - worst experience ever. They are crooks running a huge scam.

I need someone from this company to get in contact with me ASAP. I’m having the same issue as everyone else it seems whereby I cannot spend the funds on my cards, as they keep on declining!

I received two $100 codes. When I tried to redeem them, an error appeared after I entered my details, and nothing was sent to my email address. When I tried redeeming again, another error appeared saying that I had already redeemed the code.
Another error is shown when I try to resend the link.
I then tried the second code, but the same thing happened! I’m now out $200!
Unable to contact MPC easily. Worst experience ever!

Pretty awful experience with no results... the amount of time trying to figure out how to access funds on a card is obscene. Definitely cannot be used everywhere Mastercard is accepted... can't even get it accepted anywhere....
