First lamp arrived with a bent bulb…

First lamp arrived with a bent bulb attachment. I did start to worry about the legitimacy of the company, however the problem was handled promptly (by a human) and a replacement lamp was sent. Also the first time around the lamp was sent to the wrong address. The product corresponds to the listingon the website.

Love my lights

Love my lights! Aesthetic, warm and solid.

Area to improve: I wish the bulbs I purchased with them were dimmable, that was a pain to have to run out and get dimmable ones.)

Scam -mysalight

We ordered a floor lamp. It does not entirely match the illustrations. The stem is bent and the lampshade is deformed due to a manufacturing defect. The base arrived with two defective parts.
Returning it is very difficult, as all communication is handled by AI.

The lamps come from China, not the Netherlands! They can be ordered on Aliexpress at a much lower price.

Beware, scam!

Getting a piece of decor that you’ve been waiting for, only to find a bent stem and a deformed shade, is a massive letdown. I want to be very clear right away: I am a real person, and our team is actual humans.It hurts to know you felt you were stuck talking to a machine when you just wanted help with a faulty item.

Regarding our lamps, we work with various manufacturers and designers globally to bring unique styles to our collection, which is why they may ship from different international hubs. However, that is never an excuse for the quality not matching what you saw on our website. We hold our production to a high standard, and it sounds like we completely missed the mark with your order.

I’ve searched our records for a "JD," but I haven't been able to locate your specific order details to step in and fix this. If you could also include a few photos of the defects and the base parts, it would help me tremendously in showing our production team exactly what went wrong.

PLEASE AVOID!!!

I ordered 2 lights thinking they were from a quality European design company but in fact what arrived was cheaply made rubbish sent directly from China - so it's just a glossy looking drop-shipping site.

I requested a full refund (despite a number of bizzare emails begging me to exchange them) and was then told that I would have to cover the international shipping costs in full, which you also have to organise completely yourself through a delivery company! The items are now stuck in customs as they have requested fees, and Mysa are refusing to pay even though the responsibility lies with them and they are receiving the payment requests. They insist that it is for me to resolve even though I have no way of doing so - even after me being on hold to Evri for 45 minutes who confirmed Mysa need to pay.

I'm now really worried that I will have lost £130 to these scam artists - PLEASE AVOID!!!

Update: Following this review Mysa contacted me and said they would refund me in full regardless of whether they received the returned lights, as long as I took down the review immediately.

I did thankfully recieve a full refund in the end but I have decided to leave the review up, as 1) the products were of poor quality and vastly overpriced for what they were, and 2) the whole experience of trying to return the products was extremely stressful and this is not how a legitimate retailer should operate.

Dreadful company Avoid at all costs.

Dreadful company Avoid at all costs.
Ordered two solar outside Pillar lights took 20days to arrive , all loose in box no instructions when I took out of box I just touched one and it smoked then actually caught fire.
contacted company which said they were very alarmed at my situation and would send replacements along with instructions.
Again took 4 weeks to arrive still without instructions.
Talk about crap lights on A SLOW BOAT FROM CHINA !
I have put these lights outside but I would never put any of their lights inside my house as a dangerous fire risk.

Still waiting for reimbursement 3 months after returning a defective lamp

I returned a defective item 3 months ago, following all the instructions the company provided, and paying for the return shipping myself as they make customers pay for that themselves, even when the item shipped is broken and of the lowest quality. 3 months later I have not yet received my reimbursement. I have written them multiple times and each time I receive a message that says they are working on locating the return. At this point, I have no faith in ever being reimbursed.

For three weeks after payment, I had to chase them just to dispatch an order worth €200 (not delivery — simply dispatch). I sent multiple emails requesting order cancellation and a refund, opened a dispute with my bank, and only on the 17th working day, after all my emails, complaints, and a formal refund request, they suddenly informed me that my order had been shipped and that a tracking number would appear soon, with an additional estimated delivery time of around 20 more working days.

I have no idea what they supposedly sent, and I do not trust that this company sells quality products. I am extremely angry and dissatisfied with this website. I am currently dealing with them, demanding that nothing be shipped to me, and insisting on a full refund.

This is an astonishing level of arrogance and unprofessionalism from this company.
I do not recommend it.

Update:

Following the publication of this review, I was contacted multiple times by the company and informed that a full refund would be processed only upon removal of this Trustpilot review.
The refund has since been completed through a bank chargeback procedure.
In my view, refund processing should not be made conditional upon the modification or removal of a customer review.

Check before order

Thank God I checked the reviews before ordering. The pictures on this website are clearly AI-generated — probably taken from Alibaba or Temu. It really seems like you’re trying to look clever by running a business from New Mexico (or wherever you’re based) and making money this way.
When you go to AGB you reach the Shopify Website which you can see that is not a serious selling website!
Stop scamming people and shut down this dishonest, nonsense website!!

Great customer service experience

I ordered some lights from Mysalights before Christmas. They were a bit fiddily to install but customer services were great and sent me a video. My installer then broke one of the light shells and they quickly sent a replacement. The lights now look absolutely fabulous. I was shocked to see the low rating as I would 100% trust them with another purchase and I dont impress easily

Avoid - drop shipping nightmare...

Wish I'd checked Trustpilot before purchasing from this company. As others have flagged, this is a drop shipping company form China and their customer service is a chatbot.

I bought a set of lights from them in early December and they didn't arrive until mid-Jan by which point I had bought other lights and had them installed. I've been trying to return them not for 2 weeks but the chatbot that you're forced to deal with tries repeatedly to drag the process out (requested I open the package to take pictures) / offer partial refunds / offering store credit.

This is not a real company - avoid like the plague, there are plenty of legitimate alternative companies out there with comparable products.

Awful ! Avoid !

Awful and dishonest company.
Sent incorrect faulty items, damaged lamp shades, wrong plug fitting, wrong colour bases. No phone number to contact. Claim they are in Netherlands but shipments arrived from China. The email responses were always super nice but always asked for more time to rectify the problem and then just received more damaged faulty goods so I finally got them to agree that i could return them for a refund and paid shipping costs to send them back and now they are refusing to allow UPS to deliver them by not allowing them through customs.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

The one of the best teams l’ve encountered. My order got delayed due to Christmas period and they managed the communication transparently, by tracking my orders and updating regularly.
